Looks good so far Mari! Hey maybe we'll be going to Ohana for breakfast the same morning!! :stitch2: Then off to MK for the day!! We've never been to the opening of MK, we've always been inside at CP having breakfast. So we decided to change things up a bit this time and go to Ohana as early as we can and then hopefully get to MK by like 8:45. :wizard:

that's the same thing i want to do.... maybe we will..... YAY.....

:laundy:

I'm exhaustipated. (My own word. Don't you love it?)

Sounds like you girls have plans goin' on!:goodvibes All those restaurants sound like good choices.

We ate at Wolfgang Puck a few hours before I left for home in May. I had forgotten about that. It was good.

I have (according to my friend, Tour Guide Mike) 208 days until I can make my 180 day ressies. Well, at least I have time to decide.:)

386 days until we leave for the trip. :headache:

Jo

i like that word.... do u mind if i use it every once in a while. Hopefully me and shelly see each other over there...

That's what my DS just asked me. So I'm sitting here bawling, and figured now would be a good time to tell my MAYer friends what's going on in my life...

I need your prayers.

Something is happening in my body and I don't know what it is. The doctors have run tests on me and one in particular has come back positive. It's called an ANA and it tests for autoimmune disorders. Things like Lupus, Rheumtoid and Osteo Arthritis. These are some of the diagnosis that they are trying to rule out.

My Grandmother died in the '60's from what they thought was Multiple Sclerosis. My Mother now thinks it was Lou Gherig's disease, or ALS. Both of those are autoimmune disorders.

I see a Rheumatologist for the first time on Halloween, next Wednesday. So I'm asking for you to please say a prayer for me, if you can spare one.

I am in pain all of the time. I haven't been able to sleep on my own accord in over a month. The joints in my hands, knees, shoulders, toes and fingers ache constantly.

I am just anxious to know what it is I am dealing with so that I can get back to doing what it is that needs to be done.

I cleaned the house this morning, and literally, I am having a hard time standing, and walking now. This is so foreign to me. I have always worked out and lifted weights. I haven't been able to in some time. I get easily fatigued and when Drew just asked me why I was limping when I walked, I didn't know what to say.

So I came here, put it into words and now I am going to lie down. Thanks for listening, guys, and for the friendship we've all developed. :grouphug:

Oh! Shelly! you're just a young'en....retirement is years away for you...DH worked
42 (wonderful :rotfl2: ) years for the same company...and is loving retirement...
Yes airfare is high...one coast to the other...this past May I was able to get our flights for just a little under $1500.00 and it was around $1250.00 for the May 2006 trip...the days of cheap flight are getting harder to find...and we are not as flexable on dates as we once were....DGS has school to work around...we pay for everything so our kiddles can go on vacation with us...:cloud9:

I'm looking forward to a DTD meet I love that place...

JC

JO - You know you have been in my prayers since you told me what was going on. I will be praying that they can figure out exactly what is wrong and get a plan to get you feeling better. I'm so sorry that you are going through this.

We (MAYers) are always here for each other anytime!! :grouphug:

Yes JC, we put 15 percent of DH's check into the 401K. And it sure makes things tight around here, but hopefully it will give us the freedom to travel and do what we want when we are older!

I can't believe the airfare is so high for you. That sure stinks! But I guess you are flying a long way. How long does it take? We'd sure like to make it to CA someday, but I'm not sure how the kids will handle the flight and I'm not sure my wallet can take the price!

That sure is nice of you to pay for your whole family's vacation! I wish my in-laws were more like you!! We can't even get them to come and see our children, let alone take a trip with us. :sad2: But that's a whole other story, that I won't get into here. It's pretty depressing. I hope your DS & DDIL know how lucky they are to have you and your DH!

Oh! Shelly!

I'm looking forward to a DTD meet I love that place...
JC

Me too!! It doesn't have to be on Mother's Day if everyone has plans elsewhere. I just thought DTD would be a good meeting spot. We could eat, or shop, or just hang out for a bit! My family LOVES DTD!! I was telling DH that we were trying to plan a DTD MAYer meet (now that he believes me that you all are real - thanks JO!) and he said - well, we are at DTD so much that chances are whatever day they pick for the meet we will already be there! :rotfl:

Jo

 Oh my JO... you will always be in my prayer... I hope everything turns out alright on the 31st. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

i'm sending you Mayer hugs... feel better.

What date did you have planned for the Meet... i will make that day my DTD day....

I am still new to the group, but I am not new to prayer. I will keep you lifted up in prayer and praise God in advance for your healing. I am trusting and believing God that he will give you make everything alright for you.

We were talking about doing a Mother's Day MAYers Meet, but I'm not sure if it is going to work out for everyone. My family will be having lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express that day, and everyone is welcome to join us!

If that day doesn't work out, then we will start working on something else! I have lots of options open for my trip!

Hi JordansMommie ! :goodvibes Good to hear from you again. How are your WDW plans coming?

Thanks for your prayers for JObird! I know she will appreciate it very much.

Your little ones would do just fine...we try to get a flight that's about 2hrs...short layover...3hrs...the longer one leg of the flight is...DGS gets restless... In May we flew from Orlando to Atlanta then CA...too long and not being able to take our own juice and water...makes it even harder...

That sure is nice of you to pay for your whole family's vacation! I wish my in-laws were more like you!! We feel blessed to have them travel with us...I feel sad for your inlaws...missing out on such great little boys...your kiddles are blessed with great parents that love them and are involved in their lives...
