MAY 12th-19th!! THESE ARE THE MAYS OF OUR LIVES! Part 3

So I am planning my 2nd annual cookie exchange and I just ordered the invites thru ebay, now I am having a hard time thinking of the right wording to put on it.


I need to tell them to call with the type of cookie they are baking and to attach recipe to them.

Also I have to tell everyone to only bring a half dozen indivually wrapped tins of cookies. Because I have alot of people coming I only want people to bake less. That would be too many cookies.

Does all of this make sense?? I just confused myself. I just want to keep it short and sweet.

It can still be quite cold in May in WY, even some snow might be on the ground in the higher elevations. May and June are called the "mud months" out there because of all the snow melting.

That link is my uncle's vacation home that he built a few years ago. It has been featured in a couple of magazines.

JH is a very nice area. The town is very laid back and there is a lot of neat things to see, do and of course eat! The Grand Tetons are just beautiful. It is a amazing place.

Thanks for the link. I have never been that far out Northwest. DH's parents were stationed in Montana while he was in college, but left before we met, so I never have been out that way. If we go, it will be a trip won through DH's work, so a lot has to occur before we can even plan anything.

Hey MAYers!

How is everyone doing? I haven't been here in ages. . .my health took a turn for the worse this summer but I've recovered again and since starting music school at UNT I've barely had time to breathe, let alone come on the DISboards! But I am loving every minute of it. I've missed talking to you all though! James and I are going to try and sneak in a trip to WDW (at the Pop) right after my finals are over on December 14. . .and Seacrest, James and I have booked the Disneyland Hotel for Spring Break next year (March 15-22)! I can't wait. . .Maybe we can meet up sometime during our trip!

I hope you are all doing well. . .for those of you near the fires, please be careful and stay safe! Keeping you in my prayers. Have a great week!

I am so glad you are coming out to DL!!!

Unfortunately, we are going to be out of town that week. We are going to be on a cruise with my family celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary.
Can you change the dates? (just kidding!) What time are you leaving on the 22nd? I think the ship comes in early in the morning. Maybe we can meet up on the 22nd in the afternoon?

Seacrest - I paid $15.99 for shipping on the WDW DVD. I thought that was high for shipping too, but still figured that $16.99 total was a good deal! DH doesn't know that he got it for me yet!!

Okay, I'm off to the grocery store. I hate grocery shopping! I wish I could spend the money on clothes instead!!

ever heard of a lawsuit against a teachers union?
The union and School Board met on Monday night. Still nothing. The school board gave them SIX different proposals, they rejected every one of them. I want someone to bring a lawsuit against the union and was wondering if it's possible.

Anyone know??? I'd be willing to try...

You said before that the kids will have to go back in November even if this isn't settled, does that mean that they are getting subs?


Well, yes the sun is actually out today!! That's new! Looks like rain all weekend though. Why does it always have to rain for trick-or-treat??? My two little Ninja Turtles are going to get all wet!

Hey Jo the luggae is great...They are a good size... the set included the big one you check in, the carry on and a little duffle. it is very cute...i got the charcoal color one. if you go on disneyshopping.com and go to luggage it's the 3 pc set. i walked around the house with it last night and very good handling. hopefully it will be a brezze at the airport with a stroller.

Jo you should look into that lawsuit thing???? these teachers are getting so greedy... it's not like they work in an urban neighborhood where they have to deal with problem kids.

I'm still in for the the Meet... i'm still waiting to see if we will be going from may 10 - 16 or 11 - 17... because my little sister graduates college on the 18th and we have to drive up to Boston... so well see most likely we will do the 10-16..... what r ur adrs.... i know more or less the rest i was to eat at i'm just waiting till next month when disney puts up the calender for may to see which parks have the EMH.....

Mon MAY 12 - Sleep in, then to Epcot around 11:30
- lunch at Electric Umbrella (?)
- supper at Le Cellier
- stay until closing and see Illuminations for the 1st time!!

Tues MAY 13 -Ohana breakfast - trying for 7:45am
- MK most of day
- Casey's Corner - sometime

Wed MAY 14 - Blizzard Beach (if we get the free water park add-ons) If not, then MK again!
- Chef Mickey's supper

Thur MAY 15 - Our 10th Anniversary!!
- Cape MAY breakfast / explore the Baordwalk area
- DTD
- Whispering Canyon Cafe supper
- MK for parade & Wishes

Fri MAY 16 - MGM at opening
- Sci-Fi Dine In lunch
