IT CAME....IT FINALLY CAME....that big white envelope from Mickey and the Big D .....I've been accepted for a position in Attractions I'll be there from Jan 21 - Aug 8!

As of right now, I'm planning on going down 5 or 6 days early to spend some time playing in the parks before I start working there

A DTDMDMM sounds fun, obviously I won't know what my schedule for a while regarding that day, but I'm all for a DTDMM whenever it happens to be

Can't really say anything more, you sign confidentiality agreements when you are hired. But, she is having fun and enjoys the work environment.

We went to DL yesterday - need some more therapy! Rode the HM Holiday twice and video'd the ride. It came out ehhhh...OK...I used my digital camera, not my camcorder, so the quality wasn't the greatest in low light. Next time I will bring the camcorder to get a better quality. Still, I think I will put up a video on YouTube tonight if I get time to edit it.

One of things we did get to do for the first time is see the ASIMO show. ASIMO is a robot made by Honda that can walk, dance, run, even use the stairs. I got some video of that too that I will put up on YouTube later on.

There is going to be a major announcement about Disney's California Adventure this week. They are going to be doing some major construction, including the redesigning of the entrance and adding a new land. I think the announcement will be Wednesday.

I need to get back to work...lolol

There is housing for the CPers.....They even take the rent right out of our check ....So no real worries about finding a place. The ticker is in place and ready to go, once I've figured out my travel plans a bit more I'll have to add another.

Sulley!!! You are soooooo cool! I am so excited that one of us MAYers has been accepted into the Program. I am just so happy for you. AND, some (okay everyone but me) of the MAyers will be there and will get to see you in action! How perfect!!!!

Will this position push your graduation out a semester, or how does that work? I can't wait to hear the details.

So I'm trying to give up my fave coffee creamer, because I think it has too much sugar in it. And I'm trying to learn to drink the stuff black. I'm not loving me some coffee time right now.

We went out last night to a Japanese steak house. Yum, yum.

SIL just left to go back to SC. With no end in sight to the teachers strike, we might have to drive down there ourselves. The news on the strike is that it could be a month before the kids go back to school. I'm disgusted.

We found a couch yesterday that we like for the basement. It's a leather sectional from Macy's. It's on backorder until Nov. 25th, but I haven't seen anything else I like. Goodbye, WDW trip.

Is everyone still asleep?

I understand your dilema on the coffee... i'm not a coffee drinker myself but i know how it is to give up something you love. Don't the people realize that a strike affects kids too. The 2 groups should just come to an agreement...
