I am so sick of Doctors I think I'm going to scream.
Okay, I want to go back to Disney world. Now. Tonight.
OMG, does the pain never cease?????
My dog, bless his fat, squishy, bulldog self, has torn his ACL. Needs surgery to repair it. Recovery time...3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
First it was my Mom with her back, then it was me with my meniscus (have to see a Physical Therapist for 4 weeks), Then it was the Pediatrician saying Belle needs glasses, now it's Beau Gator the Bulldog with his issues.
This has all transpired since I came home on the 15th.

It's really hard to come back to "real life". And dealing with sickness on top of real life is not fun.![]()

DMM-
Is this something you've known about for a while? What are they doing? Hugs to you and prayers for all of you...
Hi Everyone!
DMM - We will keep your dad in our thoughts and prayers.
Jo - Hope things are going a little bit better today.
Mella - I can be ready to go back to WDW in one hour.
Today my wife went to the cemetery to place flowers on her dad's grave site. He was a vet of WW2.
During his tour of duty, he was in northern Africa, France and Germany. His brigade occupied the small little town of Geislingen, about 70 miles south of Stuttgart at the end of the war. This is where he met a girl name Ruth and they fell in love. He came home from the war and moved out to California, went through difficult times, a failed marriage, but always remembered that girl Ruth in Germany. He began to write Ruth about 15 years after the war. His letters were in English and hers were in German. They both had to have other people translate the letters they sent to each other.
Love blossom via the mail and he asked her to marry him and she said yes. He jumped on a plane with a ring in his pocket and flew to Germany. A few days later they were married. She barely spoke any English and he spoke little German, but the language of love can cross any barrier.
The couple came back to California and about year and a half later, they had a baby girl, my future wife.
My father-in-law never really talked too much about the war. He was at one time MIA, was injured a few times and received the Purple Heart. He was more focused with the love he had for his wife and enjoying what he had now than reliving the past.
In his later years, he develop dementia and Parkinson's disease. My mother in law did not want him in a nursing home. Even though we had to put him there a few times, she would always take him out. She would do everything for him, feed, change his diapers, change his clothes, etc. He passed away in her arms at home in their bedroom almost 9 years ago.
Yes, my father in law is gone, but he is not forgotten. Let us not forgot what Memorial Day means and the people who sacrificed for all us.
