"Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be"
Started out my morning with a lovely breakfast of Brownie Bites and Diet Coke in my room and then headed to the bus stop to go to Epcot. I have only been in Epcot once, and then only Future World so I was extremely excited for today....I arrived about 15 minutes after opening....A young princess on our bus got picked to be the Princess of the Day (I believe that's what it's called) by the Dream Squad....They met the bus, presented her with balloons and took some pics.
Once in Epcot, I made a beeline for The Land....I really wanted to ride Soarin'. I grabbed a Fastpass for Soarin' and then since the standby line said the queue was only 20 minutes, I went on in. Well, the standby queue time was wrong....It was actually 22 minutes from entering the queue to exiting the ride back by the Fastpass machines. To use some time while waiting for my Fastpass time I rode Livin' With The Land....Unfortunately our boat's audio wasn't working so we had no narration. From there I went over to Sunshine Seasons and grabbed a water and fruit salad....After finishing that, it was time for Soarin' again...I love Soarin'
Afterwards I went to The Seas With Nemo & Friends. This was the longest line all day....The queue for this ride is VERY long and it was pretty full. It was still a fun ride, though all too short. From there got into Turtle Talk w/ Crush, which is one of my favs....There was a very great group of kids who had some fun interaction with Crush and it was a blast to watch.
From The Seas, I made my way over to Figment....This is also another very fun ride with the exception of the Smell Lab, the queue was only about 5 minutes at most on this one...
For those who didn't know already, the Character Connection has moved right next door to Club Cool during some rehab of where it was at before....They had Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, & Dale.
After Character Connection I headed toward World Showcase....I was getting pretty hungry for a meal and decided to enjoy some food from Mexico....I stopped at Cantina de San Angel.....I had the Nachos, a Churro, and Diet Coke....I really liked the Nachos, they pile everything into separate sections of the chips instead of eight layers of stuff on top of a pile of chips...The churro was also GREAT!
World Showcase had some great Photopass Photographers throughout....They were more than willing to take a whole bunch of pictures, plus some w/ my camera without me asking....I made my way around World Showcase, just absorbing the atmosphere of each country....I did stop in France for an late afternoon snack of Chocolate Mousse at the pastry shop. After spending sometime in each country, I was more than ready for a break....but since I didn't want to walk all the way back to the front gate, I rode the boat over to the BW and bussed from DTD over to SSR.....
After a short break I was ready for some dinner....I decided to go over to DTD. I waited and waited and waited for the bus....through 3 MGM, 2 MK, an EP, and an AK bus before one finally came for DTD....We finally made it over to DTD and I decided to get some dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express....There was actually a very short line, only about 7 people....I had the Fettuccine with Tomato, Garlic, and Basil.....It was good, but the sauce was a bit spicy for me.
After putting quite a dent into my charge limit, I was ready to head back "home" and that leaves us where we are right now....ready for sleep
