Sulley it's great hearing from you!

How was the weather and the crowds today???

Hey DMM...

Crowds were about the same as yesterday.....Not too bad at all. The weather was breezy and a bit chilly today....I wish I would have had a sweater.

While I'm writing out my report, you can check out pics....I've got all the ones from today added to my album.

:rolleyes1 "Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be" :rolleyes1

Started out my morning with a lovely breakfast of Brownie Bites and Diet Coke in my room and then headed to the bus stop to go to Epcot. I have only been in Epcot once, and then only Future World so I was extremely excited for today....I arrived about 15 minutes after opening....A young princess on our bus got picked to be the Princess of the Day (I believe that's what it's called) by the Dream Squad....They met the bus, presented her with balloons and took some pics.

Once in Epcot, I made a beeline for The Land....I really wanted to ride Soarin'. I grabbed a Fastpass for Soarin' and then since the standby line said the queue was only 20 minutes, I went on in. Well, the standby queue time was wrong....It was actually 22 minutes from entering the queue to exiting the ride back by the Fastpass machines. To use some time while waiting for my Fastpass time I rode Livin' With The Land....Unfortunately our boat's audio wasn't working so we had no narration. From there I went over to Sunshine Seasons and grabbed a water and fruit salad....After finishing that, it was time for Soarin' again...I love Soarin'

Afterwards I went to The Seas With Nemo & Friends. This was the longest line all day....The queue for this ride is VERY long and it was pretty full. It was still a fun ride, though all too short. From there got into Turtle Talk w/ Crush, which is one of my favs....There was a very great group of kids who had some fun interaction with Crush and it was a blast to watch.

From The Seas, I made my way over to Figment....This is also another very fun ride with the exception of the Smell Lab, the queue was only about 5 minutes at most on this one...

For those who didn't know already, the Character Connection has moved right next door to Club Cool during some rehab of where it was at before....They had Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, & Dale.

After Character Connection I headed toward World Showcase....I was getting pretty hungry for a meal and decided to enjoy some food from Mexico....I stopped at Cantina de San Angel.....I had the Nachos, a Churro, and Diet Coke....I really liked the Nachos, they pile everything into separate sections of the chips instead of eight layers of stuff on top of a pile of chips...The churro was also GREAT! popcorn::

World Showcase had some great Photopass Photographers throughout....They were more than willing to take a whole bunch of pictures, plus some w/ my camera without me asking....I made my way around World Showcase, just absorbing the atmosphere of each country....I did stop in France for an late afternoon snack of Chocolate Mousse at the pastry shop. After spending sometime in each country, I was more than ready for a break....but since I didn't want to walk all the way back to the front gate, I rode the boat over to the BW and bussed from DTD over to SSR.....

After a short break I was ready for some dinner....I decided to go over to DTD. I waited and waited and waited for the bus....through 3 MGM, 2 MK, an EP, and an AK bus before one finally came for DTD....We finally made it over to DTD and I decided to get some dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express....There was actually a very short line, only about 7 people....I had the Fettuccine with Tomato, Garlic, and Basil.....It was good, but the sauce was a bit spicy for me.

After putting quite a dent into my charge limit, I was ready to head back "home" and that leaves us where we are right now....ready for sleep :)

That is so weird that its cold. I was expecting hot, hot hot!

I know! I believe I heard that it only got to 72 today....which is cool for this time of the year....What made it so chilly though, was that the wind was out of the North....brrrr

What a wonderful Disney day!

Thanks again for the updates, these little doses of the magic keep me going until my own trip :cloud9:

Where is Arikababy going on her secret rendevouz before her WDW vacation? :sail:

Hee hee...no place fun. We went out of town to visit the In-laws. Got back late last night and have been running around like a nut today. I can't believe we leave in 4.5 days. WOW! I am thrilled...:yay:

Kona is my fave so I am really looking foward to that. And as always, I am excited to try new places.
New this trip:

Biergarten
Mama melrose
Playhouse Disney
Wolfgang Pucks
Rose and Crown
Plaza
Ohanas Breakfast.

Wow, we have a lot of the same ones on our list! Mama Melrose (for the Fantasmic Package), Wolfgang Puck's Cafe, Rose and Crown, and 'Ohana's Breakfast (DH is a HUGE Stitch fan).

And woot...800 posts. This thread certain has been great for overall post counts!

Whoo hoo for 800!!! :yay: :dance3: :yay:

4 people (2 grown ups, 2 kids)....how many suitcases??? Can I fit all of our stuff into two big ones?? I guess I'll have to drag out the scale to be sure we don't exceed our weight limit.

I love packing, but I hate packing. Does that make sense?? :lmao:

Uh..for us it's 2 adults bringing 4 suitcases and 2 carry ons. Now granted, one of the suitcases is really a garment bag to transport the DH's suit, my dress and some other nicer hang up clothes and another is a bag being brought primarily to transport stuff home. However, I can't help but feel we are seriously over packing. I'd rather be over prepared than under, I suppose and we'll have LOTS of extra room for all the Disney booty I plan to procure while visiting the World.

Yep, I totally understand. I tried to be so careful not to overpack when we went to Ireland, then after we got to the airport, I found out we could have EACH had 2 suitcases  So...one big one (DH packs everything including the kitchen sink), one medium one for my stuff, one small one for toiletries, one small one for extra shoes and various stuff. DH's carry on has all the electronics -- camera, dvd camera, laptop, and all battery and cell phone chargers. My carry on will have our medicines, 3 oz bottles of contact lens solution, toothpaste, sunblock, the stuff we can't live without. One time we got delayed on an overnight flight, were up for 36 hours with no contact lens solution -- it sucked!!!!!!! Our eyes hurt so bad and were so red and sore, we'll never do that again. Oh, and then the airline lost our luggage and our meds were in it (important stuff like my blood pressure meds). We had packed in a hurry because it was a family emergency, but never again -- medicine goes with me on the plane now.

I think mine is Jiko....we've never dined here before...WPC is the only other new one on our list (which is what I would like to change!)

I'm looking forward to Boma on our first night, the princess breakfast at Akershus, breakfast with Stitch at 'Ohana, dinner at Rose and Crown right before Illuminations (crossing my fingers for a patio seat!) Guess I'm looking forward to everything! :goodvibes We are going to WPC, but had considered Raglan Road -- any particular reason you want to change that one?

is anyone into pin trading? We used to just buy the special party pins or things like that and then DH got into in the last few trips so I purchased quite a few from Disney store online, I am going to put them all on lanyards tonight....both girls and DH got them all for Easter, I plan on trading for youngest DD though....:)

My dada nd I are into pin trading, but we also buy pins that we like ALOT and never want to trade!! :lmao: so it's give and take for us! hahaha!

DH collects very specific pins -- Stitch, but only as Experiment 626, with two extra arms and antennae. Kind of hard to find, so he never trades them away and is always looking for new ones. I've traded before, but really like the pins I have now and don't want to give any away! So, I'll probably start with a fresh lanyard and just buy a few while we're there.

Congrats on the BBB elly!

Yay!!! :yay: Glad you took the chance! She'll be so cute, I'm sure...

I've never seen the shows you guys are talking about but I am excited to watch the Sopranos epsidode I DVR'd last night.
Right now we are watching Little Mermaid :)

Another Sopranos fan? Wow! We are totally hooked. It's getting pretty harsh in this last season, don't you think? I wonder who will survive when it's all over?

Good Evening MAYers :grouphug: …this is my last (pre) post….the next time I log on it will be my (post) post.

good morning everyone!

another great update sulley!

JC and JO- have a safe journey to the world
hope we meet there.

Hey-

You know, we were there in October and every day the forecast said Isolated and/or scattered thunderstorms at 30-40%. It sprinkled one morning for 30 minutes, then the sky cleared and it was beautiful.

I am originally from SC and every day the forecast always says that there's rain expected. It's hit or miss, but it's usually not a set-in rain like we get in the North (where I live now) unless there's a tropical storm.

Don't worry. You'll be fine. Go to a store, shop, ride a long indoor ride. Enjoy it, you're in Disney World.

Jo

PS...where are you stayin? DUH...I see you're at POP!
