Nope, haven't told the boys yet!! All I've been telling them is that I am working on getting us back to Disney sooner than 2 years!

Well - We are hoping for temps in the 90s this weekend. It is cooler today and cloudy, it was only in the 80s when I went out at 2 pm. This is such a relief. I have walking in the mornings and the temp was already 80 something at 8 am. The weather is the biggest news around here.

Lake - My kids were Tink and Pan one year for Halloween. When I get a moment I will try to scan the photo and upload it. That photo was made way back before digital cameras.

Shelly- Congrats!!! Are you going to try to keep it a total surprise until you leave, or will you tell the boys before going?

Yep, back in school, started Monday. I'm excited to be back, I've had all but one class so far, though I've already had the professor for it for another class, so it should be similar...Everything but accounting has been quite enjoyable and should be pretty fun for classes.

As far as work, if you asked my family, they'd say I'm working too much, but it's not too bad. My only complaint is that I close every night I work, so between class and work, I'm only at home for maybe an hour a day of awake time during the week, which sometimes gets a bit hairy.

We've had similar weather the past couple days, its wonderful being so cool, especially since it was in the upper 90s with 95% humidity.

Is everyone else going through Disney withdrawls?? I'm still planning on doing the college program in fall '08, so no trips until then. I just keep watching all of the Travel Channel and FoodTV specials over and over that I have tivo-ed and the planning DVDs

Well Seacrest, I just sat down and went through ALL of my kids videos! Wow my kids have a lot of movies!! I found 5 Disney Sing-a-longs, but no Happy Haunts. I could have sworn we had that one, but I think I was thinking about the Campfire Sing-a-long because it has a "haunted" part with a spooky song in front of the Haunted Mansion. (which by the way, we have never rode after 2 trips! ) I'll have to get Happy Haunts! I always knew you Seacrests were movie stars!!

I'm not sure. I think we will probably have to tell DS 8 again because of missing school and the extra school work he'll have to do before we go and things like that. I'm sure we can probably keep it a secret from the younger one since he's only going to be in half-day kindergarten! He has no real concept of time anyway, so we could say May and he really wouldn't know just how long that is!! (It's 254 days BTW!!! )

We may just make the announcement on Christmas day!!

Well, hello!!!

It has been a looooonnnnnnnngggggggggg week!

Here's my condensed version of it:

I hope we don't have to move for at least 2 years. Knowing us, it will be about that long before we're at it again.

I am still wading through boxes. We broke down about 100 yesterday, and my three car garage still doesn't have any room; the basement is a nightmare. I am having a yard sale in two or three weeks. I just can't stand it!

The neighborhood is awesome!!!!! First of all, when we got to the house on Thursday, there was a chilled bottle of champagne in the basement fridge with a note from the sellers saying "Welcome to your New Home!" How sweet!
Then, the baked goods started coming from all of the neighbors. We got (all from different families): An apple pie, warm out of the oven brownies, a bottle of wine, a warm out of the oven cake, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (again, warm). I am full as a tick! Everyone smiles and waves. It's amazing.

We changed a few things about the house. First off, the outside. We painted the front door and shutters black. I painted my dining room a steel grey color, and put up my crystal chandelier. It is unbelievable. We painted the family room and oldest DD's bedroom. The family room is all that's left to do, and we are going to do it later.


Okay, enough about me.

Shelly, I am soooo jealous of your trip. I AM close enough...can I jump in your bag? No trip scheduled for this family! Can't wait to hear the boys' reactions.

I have made all my adrs and signed up for fridge swap. I am all set. I cant wait. I bought myself a mickey sweatshirt yesterday for the trip. Did you book thru disney. I tried to price it but it wasnt doing it that far in advance. Do you know when they start giving the discounts for May.

Do the kids like their new school? I was reading about SV schools in the paper last week or so. Did they get things settled or are they going to strike?
