Big Green - You will have a blast! May is awesome!

Seacrest - I love your "Dream!" That's like awesome Dude!

Mari - Sorry about the TR. This summer has just been so busy with work, vacation, summer camp, driving my kids everywhere. My son playing tennis 4 or 5 days a week. I need a clone!

Jo - AR is HOT!!!! We had a break over the weekend, high only in the 90s. We went to Sonic one night and ate outside it felt so cool. We went back to the 100s yesterday. We haven't had any rain for a couple of weeks. I found a dead hummingbird near my garage. It made me so sad. My neighbor has found two near her front door. The poor little birds can't get enough water. I think they try to drink the water from little puddles our sprinklers leave, but the puddles dry so quickly and then nothing is left for them. I set some water out at the bottom of my deck a couple of days ago and a thousand fire ants came. So I have abandoned that idea.

Shellie - Has school started for you?

Lake - Enjoy those last few days. School will be here before you know it!

DMM - How many days until you meet your baby face to face? I am sure you are ready!

Well, tomorrow night is middle school meet the teacher night. It is so hard to keep up with all the teachers once your child gets older. I don't think I learned all of their names last year. Maybe I'll do better this year.

My DW and are will be going May 5th through May 14th and will be staying at Pop Century. :thumbsup2

We are planning on going MAY 10-17 2008!
Hey, maybe I should start a MAYer 2008 thread!! :rotfl:
Good Moring everybody....Shelly: Loved the pics of Hershey.... i have not been there in over 3 years.... but i still remember the chocolate smell...

I will FINALLY be going down to sesame place this saturday... My DH kept putting it off so i finally logged into the comp and purchased the tickets so there is no excuse.:cheer2:

We'll it's off to work now..... i'll check in later......

Hey Mari! Glad to hear you are finally going to Sesame Place! We never did make it there in earlier years and now the boys are too old for it!
Have fun!

Shelly- How you doin' girlie? We'll be close soon!:rotfl:

Where is JC???? I hope she is well.:confused3

Oh what the heck. He hasn't seen any fresh air for awhile, might as well let the banana do his 'thang'.

Hey JO! Neighbor!! :lmao:
I was wondering where JC is too. . . :confused3 And Marcy. . .

Oh, and here's a  for you!
Your On Ladies!

Can't wait!!
Shelly- DS is in senior kindergarten this year, so another year of half days here as well. (I know the feeling)
Although my DD doesn't start school until next year- that's when my baby will go... not sure what I will do with myself once the kids are not here with me.

I'm not sure what age your kids all started school, but here in Ontario, the start the year they turn 4 attending junior kindergarten. School starts after the September Labour Day holiday weekend, and doesn't let out till the last week of June.

We just have one year of kindergarten here in the U.S. Most schools have gone to all day kindergarten. Luckily ours still remains a half day for now!

Most schools here require you to be 5 by the beginning of the school year to start kindergarten. I think there are some states that it might be 4 though, not sure.

WOW Labor Day until the end of June, that's a long school year! I hope they give your kids long holiday breaks!! We start right after Labor Day also, but are done usually around June 7th or so.
Shellie - Has school started for you?

Nope, September 4th!

Hey Mayers!!!!! I've been catching up on the thread today instead of doing everything else that I should be :).

Seacrest - I love your videos!!! Please keep sharing them with us. pixiedust: <--Here's some pixiedust for your wife.

Jo - Good luck with the move and yay for the painter getting the schedule straightened out.

DMM - Hope everything is going well for you! :goodvibes

Shelly - Thanks for sharing those pics of Pittsburgh....I went on a road trip to Pittsburgh with some friends when I went to school in West Virginia....We went to the zoo, to that same shopping center in your last pic (I have the exact same pic, just different people :)), and a few other places that I can't remember anymore. We did get lost going back to my aunt and uncle's and ended up northwest of Pittsburgh when we were trying to get to the southeast. :confused3 :)

Hope everyone else is doing well!!!

 Hi Sulley!!

That shopping plaza is Station Square. My kids just love that "dancing" fountain. About every 20 minutes it puts on a water show to music. They even do a set to all Disney songs!!
Yes, I think ending up at the opposite end of town than you wanted to be in happens to a lot of people in Pittsburgh!! :confused3 It really is very confusing.

Hey Seacrest! My kids just love your videos!! :goodvibes

Thank you! I am glad that your boys and other people here on the board are enjoying the videos. It is fun to make and share them with you all.

I am still trying to edit our WDW video and I have about 7 hours of video to go through. Still sifting through the photos for the slide show too. I think I need to get another computer just for all my video/picture editing.

Have a great day! Seacrest

my kids just decided what they want to be for halloween this year.....

PETER PAN and TINKERBELL.

I can't wait.

Underdog was awesome!! The boys loved it!
You can't get much better than talking dogs!!!!! :rotfl: :dogdance:

Hey Seacrest, did you eat at Pepper Market or Maya Grill while you were at CSR? If so, how were they?

Glad to hear that you like the movie. Talking dogs are cool indeed.

Hey Seacrest, did you eat at Pepper Market or Maya Grill while you were at CSR? If so, how were they?

We ate the Pepper Market a few times, but not at Maya Grill. We were too running around too much to have dinner at the hotel.

The PM was awesome! They have food stations where they cook and serve your selection up fresh and hot. The portions are very big and can be easily shared. We really enjoyed it because of the wide variety and fast service. I highly recommend eating there, you will enjoy the experience.

Thanks for the info Seacrest! We will definitley try the Pepper Market. I have heard that the breakfast buffet is great at the Maya Grill too. Maybe we'll do that on one of our "late days" to the parks!

I am getting so excited to go to CSR!!!!! :woohoo:

Hope all you MAYers had a great weekend! It sure was HOT here again! Beautiful sunny day here today though and just right at 75 degrees!

JO- Hope all went well with the move and you are getting settled in!

Huggie- How are your December WDW plans coming? Are you still going back in MAY 2008 too? If so, we will have to plan a meeting!

Mari- How are those Feb. plans coming? Did your family agree on the dining yet???

JC- Where are you?????????????? Hope all is well and you are having a wonderful summer!! When's your next Disney trip?

:grouphug:

Hey Shelly... well NOBODY in my family has decided what they want to eat so i'm going to make the reservations for the restaurants that i know are MUST'S. Sheesh with so many people going it's hard to try to please everybody.

I read the question that you made for seacrest about the Maya Grill. My MOM loves it and it's hard for her to like a restaurant.

CAN'T WAIT TIL FEBRUARY!!!!!!!!!! YAY for vacations..

Hi Mayers!

Delighted to see you are all still here! :) Just popping in to say hi, and I miss you all. It was so much fun planning our trip here, and getting all the great advice from you WDW veterans :goodvibes

Sorry I sort of dropped off the face of the earth after May. DH got very, very ill the last couple of days of our May trip (I know I told at least a few of you, even if I didn't post on the board), and things are just now getting sort of back to normal -- but now my 18 year old step daughter and almost 3 year old granddaughter live with us! So, we are hoping to go to DL over President's Day weekend, and hopefully can afford to take them with us. Will be fun to take the little one for her first Disney trip princess:

Take care, Mayer friends, and I'll try to pop in again soon...love hearing about all your future Disney plans :wizard:

Hiya everyone! WOW! i cant' believe it's time for Halloween almost! I love decorating for that time of year!!!

Yo Katie! Glad to see you!

Let's try to meet up at DL for a ride or two! Let's keep in touch.

Hiya everyone! WOW! i cant' believe it's time for Halloween almost! I love decorating for that time of year!!!

Hi DMM! Yes, Halloween is coming! There is already a few stores in DL that have some decorations and merchandise up. They are also started advertising "Disney's Halloween Time" - check out this link:

http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dis...nts/detail?name=HalloweenTimeSpecialEventPage

The HM overlay: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, will be up and running in a few weeks too! It is really awesome.

Of course, you all need to get a copy of Disney's Sing-A-Long DVD "Happy Haunts" DVD. My son was one of the extras and is in multiple scenes.

Expect to see more pics of DL Halloween makeover in the next couple of weeks.

Hey! What's going on in MAYerland today???

I have some exciting news. . . . . . . . . .

 :woohoo: I just booked our May trip!! :woohoo:

:yay: I'm a little excited, you can't tell, can you ??? :rotfl:
