The only one we ever go to -- Whistler. I've sprained my ankle, broken my wrist and broken my thumb on trips to Whistler. You'd think by now I'd give up snowboarding. No thanks! I love it way too much. Funny thing about the thumb injury. I managed to break my thumb in a foot of fresh powder. I am truly THAT talented.

we are hoping to get back to whistler for the olympics in 2010! I know it will be crazy there, but I want to go to the olympics at least once in my life. so why not cheer on the home team, right. when it is on tv, i watch it 24/7.

Seeing the olympics is on my list of things I want to do in my lifetime.

i love whistler though.
its beautiful in the winter and summer.

i hope you have less injuries the next time you are there.

I did! I've had 2 injury free seasons. The powder up here in the Pacific Northwest is vicious. It can be so heavy and unforgiving at times. We don't call it concrete sludge for nothing! I'd really like to go to Big White next year to try some of the lighter BC powder. But we say that every year and every year we end up at Whistler instead for 2 or 3 trips.

Whistler during the Olympics is going to be insane but fun. I'm so happy that Whistler finally got an Olympics. They are doing a TON of work right now to get ready for it.

i was doing that last night.
bought them each a disney storybook and a colouring book and a mini puzzle to have in the carryon, (Cars for DS, Ariel for DD) it will be great for the plane, and then in the room to keep them busy. i have packed them away so they are surprises for them later.

I have a couple Melissa and doug puzzles (big wooden pieces so that they can't be lost)

I just spoke to my TA today and she said my package will be sent to her and then she'll mail it to me (I didn't use a local TA). So impatient for mine! I want to join in on the sleeve huffing (not to be confused with: http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Kitten_Huffing).

Whistler is so beautiful. We were up there for our 20th wedding anniversary. Wouldn't mind going back up there again too. Have you ever ate at The Keg?
