I think I read a post on how someone was getting a little crazed b/c the trip is ssooo close! I am too! I'm like did I do this...does this give us enough time here....Yeah I keep going over and over it.
But I'm a little a crazy like that!

I love it! And yes, I WILL be putting up posterboard on my door at Pop! I just finished decorating it tonight! I hope lots of people sign it!

I am so impressed with how organized all of you are. I usually don't pack until the night before - I mean I have everything clean and organized for the most part but not physically packed. And everytime I curse myself and swear never to leave it till the last minute again. LOL, I am usually running back into the house to grab one last pair of shoes when the luggage is in the car already.
So this year - I have a plan....I am going to pack TWO days before

I forgot I had a few questions before I go to sleep. Maybe someone can help me with the answers. Again, this is all so new to me. Thanks for the help...

1. Are there any grocery stores near Disneyworld? We are staying at the Pop with no car so I am wondering if there are any store close by incase we forget to pack something.

2. Is there a Charater Meal with the Characters of Playhouse Disney? I think I saw that on a few ADR's today, but I cn't find info on it anywhere. Am I seeing things?

3. We have an ADR at the Coral Reef for my Dh birthday (our last day on vacation 5/19). Is that good or bad? I know it probably too late to try and get anything else by now, but maybe someone can recommend something else just in case?

4. My Dd Arika (6) totally LOVES the Disney Princesses. I haven't been able to find her a Princess dress here and am wondering if I will have a lot of options for buying her a dress once we get there? Any places you can recommend?

5. What are these lanyards I hear you talking about for?

This is just our luck on the car thing...

We had gone to a dealership about a month ago, and the sales guy said to email and we could do all the prices and such over email.
Well DH emailed today; they sent an email back saying that guy had been fired! It's not funny he got fired, but it is funny b/c this is just our luck! So NOW they want us to come in. Yada, Yada, Yada.

When Blake comes on, I sit in complete amazement. I am an old rocker chic at heart, been to many Metallica, G'N'R etc. concerts and when I heard he was messing with Bon Jovi's song, I was kind of upset. Man, oh Man, I would go to a concert of his ANY day. Love that guy.

Agreed. Chris last night said "Chris Daughtry did this last year..." and I yelled at the tv, "You, Sir, are No Chris Daughtry!!!!!!!!" Dh laughed because I really don't like this year's Chris. I quit watching AI last year after Chris D. was kicked off.

What's the weather like out there? We're having a thunder storm right now. I think it's supposed to get cooler tomorrow.

Do you know what Pittsburgh weather is supposed to be on Friday and Saturday? Trying to pack up the kid, and I'm not sure if I should pack him shorts or jeans?

It's supposed to be really nice from what I remember of the forecast. I think you should definitely pack shorts for the day, but it gets chilly quick in the early evenings, so jeans would be better for then. Give him a bit of both.

Okay, from your list...
1. Yes, there is a Publix close by off of International Drive. It's about 5 minutes from POP; we went a lot last year. But there is no transportation to it. You could take a taxi, though.

2.I think this is at Hollywood and Vine in MGM. DMM can tell you, I think she was going...

3. I haven't been to Coral Reef yet, going to go this trip. There is a diver that will hold up signs with a special message on it if you call and book ahead of time for no charge. Shelly is doing this for her anniversary dinner. She has the number and will be on this morning, so she'll post it.

4.Go to the Princess shop in downtown Disney. It's absolutely fabulous. The dresses are so pretty with all of the tiaras, capes, shoes, etc. be forewarned that they are more expensive there. You won't find these dresses anywhere else but on Disney property though, so you get what you pay for.

5. The lanyards are from DMM. She has made them and if you want one, she charges $2.50 for postage. They are very cute.

I need special Pixie Dust that only we have!

Dh just flew out to give a HUGE presentation at 2 pm EST to his boss, one of the Vice President's and to about 5 other people. He is worried that it won't go so well because he is still fairly new and the account he is presenting on is a tough one.

If you can and would, say a quick prayer for him. He told me that if he could get through this afternoon with it going okay, he'd feel like he was starting vacation already. And we know he doesn't love Disney...

I never pack until the night before or the morning we fly out. My cat freaks out if the suitcase leaves the closet. So I'm right there with you sister!
