MAY 12th-19th!! THESE ARE THE MAYS OF OUR LIVES! Part 2

I think the addition of the DDP (even though it isn't free in May) has caused ADRs to be more difficult to get. Everyone on the DDP needs about 1 ADR a day. Then there are those who use their DDE card (like me to get 20% off at table service). Then you have the people who just want a table service meal and are not on a plan or a discount or anything. I think it really adds up.

MAY IS HERE!

Hey I know I am kind of late telling you all that, but hey, I am in California and I just got back from surfing, etc. so you know, I have an legitimate excuse.

Is anyone a big dork like me and already know what they are going to order at each restaurant? You would think I never went out to eat before

I don't know for sure what I am going to order at all the places we are going. I have, however, looked at all the menus and continue to go look at the menus to see if anything has changed.

How many of you are going to video tape your trip?

I just bought a new Sony Handycam and the software to edit movies.

At the end of the trip I am going to post a few short movies on YouTube. I got some different ideas...anyone else want to play?

:dance3: La, la, la, la, laaaaaaaaa....It's MAY!!!:dance3:

Let us know how the concert went!

Great concert, but omigosh, I am too old for this stuff...driving out of town through rush hour traffic, over Donner Pass, making it with 20 minutes to spare, then grabbing a bite to eat at 11:30 pm, turning around and driving home...:faint: that late night drive through the mountains was a bit much for me. Thank goodness I didn't nod off! :scared:

Today will forever be known as the day that I, too, finally became a sleeve sniffer.

It only took forever and a day but my docs FINALLY arrived. Is it so wrong that I fondled my various certificates?

We got ours today as well. Getting ready to show them to Dh. First I have to get the kidos in bed. Don't want little fingerprints all of the papers...;)

I'm so excited! Is it May 12th yet??? :yay:

Hooray for sleeve sniffing and certificate fondling!!!!! party:

My godson who is Downs and is 9 years does not talk, but he uses sign language to communicate his needs. He is quite severe in many ways, but this ability really makes life a bit easier for his parents.

This is so cool :goodvibes I think even with just really little ones, things we think of as temper tantrums are often frustration that they just can't communicate what they want or need. Like being in a foreign country and you don't speak the language...

You might be a Mayer if...

you sniff your plastic sleeve travel documents cases.

you have :snooty: on all your bags and luggage.

you have made DMM change your ADR's at least twice.

you keep asking "IS IT MAY YET?"

you can't control yourself from posting the  in your messages.

you get dinner ideas from other posters.

you check this DIS thread more than you check on your children.

Yup, that's me!

:lmao: Pretty much packed, I think. I hope to get finished up today.

I have to go to the dentist this afternoon, I've had a bad toothache for about 10 days and I went in last week, he said that it was probably inflamed tissue from all of the work we've done in the past couple months, to give it a week and that if it didn't clear up he'd probably have to do a root canal on a tooth that's given some trouble before. Well it's a week later, and I'm headed back. So, I've got the day off.

I wanted a day off this week to get everything taken care of, but not this way. Oh well, take what you can get.

Aw, sorry for your tooth troubles! :headache: No fun at all, but good thing you have a good dentist, and they are getting this taken care of before your trip.

MAY IS HERE!

Yeah, Seacrest, JC, and me...we just surf, hang out, go shopping in Beverly Hills, cruise around in Hollywood -- all that laid back California stuff... :smooth: :rotfl2:

Be a junior Space Ranger and pilot your Star Cruiser through imaginative, immersive worlds. You are the pilot as you careen through a comical cosmos! Go on a daring space mission to save the toy universe from the sinister Emperor Zurg. Spin and fire your personal laser cannon to score points. Good luck, Space Rangers!

This is from DL, but for your viewing pleasure:

Waaaaaaaaay back in the thread someone asked what was the first thing we'd do when we get there...

We will check in to the Pop, grab the first bus to AK, and find out when the next showings will be of FOTLK and the Nemo stage show. Then we'll grab a FP for Everest (hope they have some left!) and probably get lunch at Tusker House while we wait.

Hey, I need someone to post that lil' packing cow for me -- I don't know how! I need some motivation here, folks!
