Hi there, how nice of you to think of us. I'm not savvy enough to know how to post pics directly. In the tool bar there is a place to use a link to a picture, will that work? It's the little post-card looking icon. Anyone have a suggestion for uploading a pic directly from your harddrive?

I'm soooooooo excited!!!!! Just got my room number and I have an upgrade. From a cat 9D we where upgraded to a cat 5a. My room number is 10,008

I just checked my reservation and we got out room with some added pixie dust. We were booked for a 6B GTY and got booked in 10106 which is a 4A.

I finally quit checking for my stateroom assignment four times a day because I was convinced I was jinxing myself. When I realized all of you were getting Pixie Dust....I looked.

We are now in #9134. 8C to a 4A. I am one happy cruiser!!!

Mimosas on the verandah! This is funny since I rarely book a verandah room because I prefer inside rooms. I've gone completely bonkers with this DCL cruise and all my preferences have been turned on their heads. In a good way!

I am now far too excited to wait another 6 1/2 weeks. Can we go now???

I am in an 8C and am happy with it, however rumors have it that since they hold five those with small parties in the rooms might get upgraded. Of course the only GTY room for ocean view is the 8C. Soooo, I have been checking to see if we get some pixie-dust since it is just the two of us. Though if not, I am totally fine with it...but a girl can dream right

I've had balconies before and I just don't use them (except to watch pier runners ). I know, I'm strange. I think they're a must for Alaska, but other than that, I have found that I prefer interior rooms (easier to control the temp, no sunlight to keep me awake during naps, etc.). This time, however, I'm going to try to use it often enough to see if I can change my mind going forward.

There are only two of us and we got the upgrade so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too! But I'll tell you what, that 8C is a sweet room. Your son can sit in that big porthole and watch the world go by without you having to be right next to him every second like you would on a balcony. Either way, you're both going to LOVE it! (Still keeping my fingers crossed, though. )

We were GTY. None of that makes any sense to me. I mean, I get that GTY is guarantee, but the whole IGT/OGT/VGT thing is Greek to me. If we start sailing DCL more often, maybe I'll figure it out.

It is 120 pages long and starts with pics from 2005, so unless you have HOURS to kill, start at the end and browse backwards. I believe someone called this "food p*rn" in another thread. Not sure that's true, but it's really amazing to see how many people stopped and took pictures of their food before eating! What a nice glimpse into our futures...

for those of you staying at Hyatt and using DCL transfer can you explain to me the process in the morning....Please!

Right now I have car service booked and debating whether or not it is worth the extra $100 for the convenience of DCL getting our luggage to our room and also the checking in at MCO???

Is this an advantage???
