may 12, 2012 7 Night Western on the Fantasy

I'm so glad I made the cutoff for participating in the fish extenders! We changed our reservation from Sept to May as we found out we will be expecting a new mouseketeer. So now it's a babymoon over mother's day! We will have 5 in our cabin- last trip all in one. We were on the Dream for a 4 night in Oct. and can't wait for more time to enjoy the ship.

Welcome and congrats on your new little mouse on the way ;) I will add you all to the FE exchange!

Hey Everyone just found this board we are looking forward to the cruise woohoo
we are in 2 cabins 5th deck.
myself Edes, Tarra, Emily, Erin, Elise, Ella, Evy, Enya, yes that would total 6 daughters and they are beyond excited. FE TBD. I would like to snorkle in Grand Caymen with stingray and other areas does anyone have a good company to sign up with? please pm me thanks for any assistance.

Wow 6 girls! You have your hands full :) Welcome to the cruise, hope someone has some info on snorkeling for you!

We had a DIS Meet in London yesterday and one of the guys there is going on the MV.

I have given him strict instructions to post those navigators as soon as he is home

Yay!! Thanks, I can't wait to see them!

Wow do you have your hands full! We are cutting off the FE March 31 as it is getting rather large. We are actually going to split it in half and I think that the nice ladies that are handling it are going to try to split up the cabins so kids of like ages end up in the same FE. All that is a long way of saying that if you would like to participate, please decide quickly, we'd love to have you!

Also, last May I went with an outfit named Moby Dick Tours in Grand Cayman and we are using them again this time. Very nice, fun guys. They took us out to Stingray City and let us feed the rays and we also went snorkeling for a bit over near the underwater cliff. They have a website that you might want to check out. I'll also pm you. Welcome aboard!

OK, my own answers :lmao::

1) What one thing are you most interested in "discovering" on the Fantasy?

We've only been on the Magic, so the new and improved kids' club with the interactive floor and all the new gadgets and play areas.

2) Who are you most excited to see/meet and why?

My husband. He's in Afghanistan and will be meeting us in Florida. Hows that for exciting?!

3) What is/are your kids most over-the-moon excited about?

Characters, the Aquaduck and snorkeling.

4) What non-kid activity are you most looking forward to?

Spa and date nights. Date nights on a Disney cruise are so liberating, no sitter to get back to, peace of mind knowing your kids could call if they need you, so otherwise...you know they're happily (oh so happily) occupied!

5) What flavor/taste are you most looking forward to on the Fantasy?

good wine. I've been dieting since August first, not for the cruise, more for my health. I've had wine three times in eight months, so definitely the super wine on board. And Jaymepops, I may join you in the drink of the day!

Hi while searching the web for my magnets, I came across this one and thought about you:

Okay I can't cut and paste it. I am new to these boards. It is a picture I have saved in word, how can I post it?

None here... Waiting anxiously for our VGT and IGT assignments... I have a feeling that we will be one of those assigned at the port! :rotfl2:

My MIL got her IGT last week. We are still awaiting our VGT too. I think we will get it at port too.:sad1:

:welcome:to the cruise and the DIS Boards!

5 more days until FE cut off date. Currently at 30 cabins, so certainly room for more!

What will happen if some of us don't have the room number? If they give us the # at the Port? How will we know their room for the FE.

I was wondering the same thing... Maybe hand out our FEs first thing with a note with our cabin number?

I had posted this once, but it's hard to find in 36 pages of this thread! So I added it to the info on page 8, and hopefully mom of a lil pirate can put it as a reminder when she splits the list.

Day of cruise: Check door of cabin 6536 for changes/last minute GTY assignments. If you have any changes, please update the list on cabin 6536 by 8 PM on the day of the cruise (May 12).

Ok :thumbsup2

Anyone interested in a Cabin Crawl? I was perusing the other threads to see where a good meetup spot was and came across this post:

What's a cabin crawl? A chance to see as many categories of the ship as possible.

Details: 1st Sea Day (Day 2), tentatively planned 1-2pm, Atrium.

POA: Meet up in the Atrium. Go through in small groups starting at the cabin at the lowest deck. The cabin hosts go with the first group and stop at their cabin to host and stay until the last group comes to their cabin. Then the cabin hosts go through with the last group. Each group should wait about 3-5minutes before starting from the Atrium.

Could be fun way to see the virtual porthole cabins if there are any inside stateroom people, and of course Deck 10!

I just checked my reservation and we got out room with some added pixie dust. We were booked for a 6B GTY and got booked in 10106 which is a 4A. :yay::woohoo:party::jumping3::jumping2:

That could be fun! Neat idea :) Thanks for scoping out the other threads.

Ahhhh brilliant! Much better than my plan! LOL
Now we just have to hope the occupant of 6536 doesnt get a surprise upgrade!

haha...that would be trouble!

Since that's me, I will abstain from that hope! :)

Michelle

Yes, no upgrades for you! J/k. I am sure we would work it out if you did!

Hi there, how nice of you to think of us. I'm not savvy enough to know how to post pics directly. :headache: In the tool bar there is a place to use a link to a picture, will that work? It's the little post-card looking icon. Anyone have a suggestion for uploading a pic directly from your harddrive?

I don't think you can upload directly from the hard drive :( You must have an image link for the picture to post it as you stated.
