may 12, 2012 7 Night Western on the Fantasy

Congratulations!!! :cool1:That's amazing! I started Weight Watchers at the end of January for the cruise but still have a long way to go. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm setting the diet aside come Friday for the cruise but plan to get right back on it when I get back to Boston.

Hi fellow New Englander!

That is the mentality that we need, I am finally down to my HS weight! I know I am going to gain a few pounds on cruise but come Monday the 21st I will be back on track.

When we went to WDW in October I could not for the life of my get back on track and then through the holidays I ended up gaining almost 10lb from Oct-January....

So, this trip I will be eating what I want, but trying to do some form of exercise everyday and BIGGEST thing promising to get right back on track.

Thanks for the nice responses. I have to say, after nine months of hard work (started August 1), it was weird hitting my mark and having no one at home to share the news with (boys in bed, husband on a plane, family in a different time zone...)! Thank goodness for this kind little corner of the world where people are willing to share in a little joy and almost always online to provide instant gratification. ;)

I got very sick when we were posted to India, then two kids came B2B, have as crazy a work/home schedule as everyone else, and the rest was just laziness. When my husband left the country, it gave me a little bit of extra time to work out (irony, I know). The bad news is, I was shooting for a size 8 and overshot to a 4. Bad because I have to order cruise clothes online (not a lot of beachwear in Prague) and most of what I ordered is honestly too big. (I know, I know...wah, wah, wah) So I had to order again in new sizes. Ouch, waste of money. But it's at least a nice problem to have and I'm having fun with clothes again. I will admit that it was a LOT of work. A LOT. :crazy2:

Thanks again for celebrating with me. Drinks are on me! Oh, wait, we're not on board yet!!!! But seriously, you will see me on date night(s) dancing in the Tube, and drinks ARE on me if you are there at the same time...

Great job.....you must feel AMAZING. Are you sure your going to be in the Tube dancing and not in your room....:lmao:

When was last time hubby saw you? How much have you lost since he left?

Hey everyone

Just checking in to say bye for now and see you on board :woohoo:

We are heading to the airport in the morning so I probably won't get much time to visit the boards before we leave

Hope everyone has a safe journey and we'll "see ya real soon" :goodvibes

Have a wonder trip down (or up)!

OK, since this is only our 2nd cruise, and 1st Carribbean, I have a couple of questions.
1. How much do you tip for room service?
2. Do we need to bring beach towels or does Disney provide them for Castaway Cay?

Maybe we'll bump into each other walking off the calories around deck :)

I will definately be walking on the deck in the morning. I told DH that we are going to walk/run then hit gym to do some weights. We never get to workout together so it will be nice.

Also, I am doing CC 5k.

On the Oasis we tipped b/t 2-5 depending on what we ordered.

No, from what I have read Disney provides the towels for all ports.

Room service depends on what we order if it's just coffee and cookies $2 if it's a bunch of food items like a couple of sandwiches, salads, pizza, drinks.... $4. I keep an envelope in the top drawer with about $60 in ones just for room service tipping. :thumbsup2

Disney always has towels for you.

Thanks to you both!

OK, all. It's been pretty quiet, I'm guessing people are either headed out or doing their last minute thing.

Signing off. It's 11:30 PM and I am not the least bit sleepy (:hyper:). Think of us tomorrow, we will be on the transatlantic flight from 8:00AM-6:00PM EST tomorrow. Reunion with Daddy/DH on arrival.

See you at the port (or at the meet). Thanks again to those who have organized us, FE's, role calls, bracelets...we couldn't have done it without you. Best wishes for safe travel to everyone and good luck on all the last minute details.

:bitelip::yay:Yip-yip-yipeee!!!!!!!:yay::bitelip:

Safe travels and we'll see you soon!!! :cool1:

Wow! I've missed a lot! It made me laugh to hear about the little one wanting you to read to him and his new friends. And congrats to Meg, I'm sure your DH will be in shock (it's always wonderful to see them after being apart). :)

Can't wait to meet everyone. Travel safely, and we'll turn the sunshine on for ya. (if the weather cooperates and stops raining every night)

Rough couple of days here. My mom, who will be 90 in June, is having some health issues. She, along with my brother and sister, wants my DD and I to still go the cruise. My brother and sister are both stepping up to the plate to watch over her in my absence (I'm the local one). Will wait to see what the next couple of days bring in terms of improvement. Our flight isn't until Saturday morning. I know in my head that I will be back in the lead role right after the cruise, but feeling more than a little guilty right now. Think it's my Italian Catholic upbringing - we thrive on guilt...and pasta....

I'm so sorry for your family. Prayers for all, regardless of the decision you make. I hope your mom improves and you'll be able to join us.

We will be leaving this afternoon to catch our flight at 5:45 in the morning. Unfortunately we have had a rough couple of days as well. Our beloved chihuahua:sad::sad::sad: that we have had since my wife got pregnant with my daughter has been sick and finally yesterday I had to put him out of his misery. That was one of the hardest things I have ever done and telling my 6 year old daughter that he was not going to live and letting her tell him good bye broke my heart this is the first pet we have lost as a family and he was more like another child to us and burying him was very hard for me. I am ready to get this vacation started to get all of our minds off of it but right now the tears are flowing.
