My family just got off the Dream yesterday and we have this cruise lined up as of Saturday
This will be our second cruise with me (24 as of cruise date), mom (51), and my younger sister (10 as of cruise date)
We had so much fun on this last one - good tip, if the spa offers the rainforest package it is so worth the extra money!!!![]()
So, as far as the excursions go- I know I want to have a chill beach day - an exploring day and an adventure type day.
I am trying to lose weight before the trip. I'm down 26 lbs and need to lose another 40 before I am at my goal weight. Since we're going on the cruise in a little less than a year I am using this as my motivation. I want to do an 'adventure' excursion. Something like ziplining or rock climbing. Possibly one of the excursions with the dolphins....
I just can't decide which port would be best for which excursion.I am guessing Cozumel should be my explore day,so I can see the ruins. I just really can't wait for them to release the excursions for Costa Maya.
Anyone have a clue when that might be???
P.S. - Is anyone else trying to lose weight for the trip? It might be nice for some added support!!
Is it sad that I'm already so excited? lol
I am also planning on hitting the gym quite a few times before the cruise, crossing fingers on actually keeping up with that plan![]()
This is our second Disney Cruise. Sailed on the Dream in May and we are hooked! Looking to share some excursion suggestions.

Hello All,
My wife, Gay, and I actually booked this cruise on our Magic Western in January, and the price has gone up more than $1000 since then. This will be our 6th Disney Cruise, all have been on the Magic. We will be celebrating my wife's 40th birthday on the 15th. We've booked one of the ocean view rooms in the front of the ship, because that was by far the best value at the time of our booking.
I am interested to see if sailing on a new Disney ship for the first time will bring back some of the "magic" from our first Disney cruise. That was definitely one of the best vacations we have had.
We live in High Point, NC, will be driving down for the cruise, and staying at the Radisson the night before.
Welcome! We to will be staying at the Radisson the night before maybe if more people stay we can set up some sort of meet.

Is the Radisson at the port? We stayed at the Hyatt at MCO last year and it was very convenient. This year I *think* we'll do the same thing, but I'm not sure. Is the Radisson much different in price that the Hyatt?
Hi again. DisneyMommy1022, it looks like I somehow forgot to give you info for my kids. DS1 Cooper (6) and DS2 Spencer (4).
So I counted, and it looks like we're the 7th cruise on the Fantasy! That's really fun.
Have you named the group yet? Maybe we could use the number seven, like
Lucky 7 on Fantasy
Fantasy's Seventh Heaven
Seven FantaSEAS
Seven Seas on Fantasy
