My sister and I went on the western in May. The ports of call we went to were the Grand Caymans and Cozumel. In the Caymans we did a island tour and went to Hell and a sea turtle farm (the turtle farm was neat). In Cozumel we swam with the dolphins and that was the most amazing thing that we have ever done.

Ashley- I just friend requested you on facebook, my name is Courtney and my profile pic is of my 3 year old daughter.

I'm so excited already and my husband just does not understand. :confused3

Hello! I just booked this cruise! :woohoo:

My name is Lessa (27) and sailing with me will be my mother, Beth. This is our second Disney cruise, we went on the special Eastern to Tortola back in May 2009.

A little about me, I am a full-time student working on my second degree, this time around a BScN (Nursing). Mom works for a local hospital in their fundraising department.

Not sure yet if we will do the FE, will let you know that later.

We are booked for second seating for dinner (don't want to be rushed to dinner on port days).

We are booked in room 5162.

Hello everyone

I hope I am posting on the correct thread?

I guess that as this one is called the 'New' thread I am in the right place but let me know if not

We are just back from our first ever cruise, 3 days on The Dream just to see what we thought of cruising. Long story short, we loved it and have re-booked for the 12th of May on The Fantasy

It's just me and DH and we are from the UK. We've visited WDW 5 times now (it will be 6 by the time of the cruise) and we just love it

Look forward to hearing about everyone's plans and counting down to the cruise with you all :goodvibes

Hi there! I just read your Disneyland Paris TR a few days ago, I was happily surprised when I saw you on this cruise thread. :goodvibes

Ashley - I just sent a request to join the facebook group, name is Lessa, I am wearing Minnie ears in my profile picture.

This is me, Lessa, 28 at the time of the cruise. It is rare that you will find me without my camera in hand.

My mom, Beth, 49 at the time of the cruise. She loves to meet new people from different parts of the world while on vacation.

Where you are likely to find us: Quiet Cove, the deck above the pool. We love to relax on deck with a good book and soak up the sun.

I will also be 28 at the time of the cruise. We should definitely meet up!

Looks like Disney isn't just for families with kids anymore!;) My DH is 26 (27 at time if cruising) and I will be turning 29 the day before we leave! We are also traveling with another couple that we met on our last Disney cruise.

We would love to try for a meet as well... :goodvibes

my sister and i love going on the disney cruise line they offer things for everyone.

So do any of you have any idea what type of excursions might be offered in Costa Maya? We will only be in port for five hours, can't imagine they will offer much.

The only excursion I have my heart set on is the Tulum Ruins on the Cozumel port day.

Not sure yet what we will do at Grand Cayman.

Hi All,
We are fairly new to this, we did participate in January on the Dream. We are also booked on this cruise and will provide our information soon. Just happy to have found the thread. We are most interested (other than the ship) in the ruins as well.

This will be my third Western Cruise.. We still have not been able to see Cozumel, so I am thinking for that port doing something local. We did do the Talum Ruins a few years ago.... It was awesome! You leave Cozumel for a ferry to the mainland and then a few hours on a bus, but it is well worth it. It is a long day!!! Our second cruise was during the Swine Flue outbreak and the US had said no docking in Mexico.. Maybe try swimming with Dolphins? Never did that before!

I'm really looking forward to the ruins, the pictures are spectacular.

Thanks for the input on the ruins. :goodvibes

We also cruised around the beginning of the Swine Flu outbreak, we were on the Eastern though so luckily we did not have to miss any ports. Did they find a new port for you to make up for the missed Cozumel port or did you get an extra sea day?

Yes... Nashua.. We were disappointed since we are not huge fans of the Bahama's and had already been there, and some people were down right MAD!! But we ended up doing the Junkenau excursion that was a really good time!

my sister and i did the push and pull with the dolphins in may it was the most amazing thing we have ever done in our life. it is well worth the money. just make sure if you decide to book the push and pull that you are a good swimmer.

My family just got off the Dream yesterday and we have this cruise lined up as of Saturday :)

This will be our second cruise with me (24 as of cruise date), mom (51), and my younger sister (10 as of cruise date)

We had so much fun on this last one - good tip, if the spa offers the rainforest package it is so worth the extra money!!!:cheer2:
