Well, it has been a long and busy day (and HOT--90+ in New Hampshire in June? What gives? And it was snowing three weeks ago! I guess we don't get spring this year).

I did take an hour to get my nails done I like having pretty toes

Leaving the house at 6:00 in the morning. Change planes in Baltimore. Should be at MCO by 12:45. CAn't wait to meet you all.

Well - work is done. Heading out to dinner and then home for the final packing. We hit LAX in the morning for a 11:10am flight. See you all at the Hyatt and/or at the port.

Winding down here...

House sitter came, bathes are done, doing a bit more cleaning since we have the time.

We leave in the AM to go to Mike's parents in West Palm Beach - so won't be at the wine and cheese, but hope to be at the port by noon on Saturday.

well 10:35PM on Thursday night and we are basically done. I figure if it is not in the suitcases now then we don;t need it.

Time to try and unwind and have a beer and then it is off to bed for a 4:00AM wake up call.

Okay. This really is my very last pre trip post. I was just thinking about those of you whose significant others are cruiseing with us while you are stuck at home working. The kids and I travel some when Dave is worknig hard and it is always bittersweet for us. We love traveling, but we really hate to miss the time with a loved one (and miss sharing those experiences) and we always feel guilty about leaving him behind. I imagine it is how we all feel. So a big TAHNK YOU to those of you who are left behind for sharing hte most important people in your lives with us. We will do our best to take care of them for you.

Girls' Night Out tonight to say goodbye to a wonderful bunch of gals I've laughed with and loved for the past 5 years. Too many margaritas and more than a few tears but also much laughter....a bittersweet evening. Tomorrow will be tough, the kids' last day of school and very difficult farewells to dear friends in Virginia. The cars headed west today and we're ready to begin our journey to San Diego via via via Castaway Cay...Canary Islands, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Barcelona...the Mediterranean...The adventure begins!

My cast came off yesterday and I'm now sporting a walking cast for the next 4 weeks along with a cane but I'm walking and I'll do just fine. My orthopedic surgeon said my appointment yesterday reminded him of "Let's Make a Deal". I tried to bargain with him. Ted will keep me in check.

We arrive at MCO at 8:40pm tomorrow and we're staying at the Hyatt at the airport. We look forward to catching up with everyone soon.

Kayla, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty.

We are all packed. Upon reflection, I think I overpacked, and there are things I would take out, but I'm not undoing it all!

Wanted to say that I spoke with someone at DCL today and they said a bunch of them were going to Port Canaveral to help with our check-in and to wave goodbye to us to celebrate the first Transatlantic crossing! Pretty exciting!!! For whatever reason, it made it that much more real.

Wishes for a safe trip for those traveling, so happy the storm was downgraded and SEE YOU ALL AT THE PORT!!!!!

Well we are here!!!

Day started off with a bang... my ride got the dates mixed up and thought we were leaving on Friday!! He did come and pick us up..... we won't say how we got to the airport on time But we made it. And my resourcefullness got us through to the gate quickly.

Flight was early arriving in Orlando So headed on over to Epcot After visting the F&G festival, set up camp at the Off Kilter stage. I met BilboUk, Milestogo and Mrs Q.

It was a great day!! How can it not be with 5 men in kilts And with my new camera... I filled up a 4 gig compact flash card!! I think I will be deleting alot of those

Ok, exhausted now. Will definately be at the Wine & Cheese meet as it is only 2 doors away

Bobandlee!!!! Thank you for offering to bring the charger! But I found it!!!! It was in a small pocket in the suitcase that we did not open until we got here Thanks Peter for posting for me
