OMG are you serious baout a PJ breakfast?!?! This sounds possibly quite fun. I had not packed PJs suitable to be seen in public. I may have to add something. Please let me know if you are serious (or am I just totally gullible?).

Yes, I'm serious. If I can find our group jammie pictures (with about 100 of us), I would post, but don't know if I can find them quickly.

How about jammie breakfast at 8 a.m. on Thursday May 17 in Lumiere's (jammies are not required, but encouraged). Group picture afterwards. Meet in atrium at 8 a.m.

Debbie - Please change our room number to 6522. I am so excited to get an upgrade to a veranda room.:cool1: :cool1: We have always been on deck 2 and really just thankful to be on the Disney ship. Last night our kids took us to the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Bomas) for our birthday dinners - Carl and I have birthdays 4 days apart. My daughter said, "Are you two excited to be cruising in 6 days?" We went on and on. She said, "We have a surprise for you - we have upgraded you to a veranda room as your birthday present". We both just about died - especially my husband. He has always wanted a veranda room but I felt like we couldn't afford it. So we will be joining the disboarders on deck 6. Hope all the rest of you who are trying to upgrade on Saturday - get your upgrades. I had planned to try but knew since I was using Disney transfers I would get there late and probably not get one. Thank heavens for a sweet daughter and son-in-law. Debbie, thanks for all you've done.

Erik, my grandson, Aiden, and I checked the lobby and down the halls last night just in case you were out and about while we waited for our table but we didn't sight you anywhere. Glad you are enjoying your stay at AKL. It is beautiful there. Sorry it is HOT - it is suppose to get better this week. Hope you get over to Epcot to see the beautiful flowers. Tonight is my last shift there before I sail. They let me off tomorrow to get a facial, nails, and toes. My bosses are soooooo nice!! I am psyched!!

Ken, congrats to Matt and his sponsorship - I know those are really hard to come by. I'm sure you and Shari are "bustin your buttons". Our kids accomplishments mean so much to us parents. I know you are both excited for him. Shari, I thought of you this weekend. I have never done back to back races like you did the Goofy. Well, I did the Minnie Marathon 5K on Saturday and then yesterday I did the Minnie 15K. I hurt today. I can't imagine how you do 39 miles in 2 days. Look forward to meeting you and getting tips on how to prepare for races.

Brooklyn, good thoughts are with you today. I want you to know I just absolutely love the picture of your daughter with Wendy. The picture just makes me smile every time you post.

Laura, I have enjoyed your play adventures so much. I chuckled every evening when you were sharing with us. Thanks for sharing. You brightened up my days - laughter makes us stay healthy.

Scott, I am impressed at how much you get done every week. You must have a ton of energy. I read to my husband about your weekly projects and he is amazed. He keeps asking, "How old is he?"

Cupcake and all others we will definitely extend a warm welcome to family members traveling alone. That is what is so great about a Disney trip - you just feel the "pixie dust" in the air and everyone around you is happy and friendly.

Jennifer, thanks for the picture. Lena is now a part of my Flat Stanley book that was mailed to Helix, Oregon, on Saturday. I appreciate you sharing.

Happy, safe traveling to everyone that is coming soon to HOT sunny Florida.
Checked cruise weather and it looks great. I want to thank Ken and all the wonderful disboarders that contributed to our lanyards. It is so nice of all of you to do this for so many of us. Debbie and Linda, thanks for all your efforts too. All the others that are helping make this cruise special - thank you.

This has been a great thread to follow. I look forward to meeting all of you. I will have a trivia game on my door each day. A prize will be awarded each day to the correct answer. If there is more than one correct answer I'll have a ship CM pull a name from all the correct answers. I hope you will play. My trivia questions are EASY. I don't want to bring prizes home so please play!!!!

OH NO, the Chocolate Factory can't be canceled! Other then the sting rays that is all we have booked!
I think the Chocolate Factory is going to be something pretty easy to do on your own. It looks like it is walking distance from the port and (according to Rick Steves) only costs 4 Euros. It is one of the places that I thought I might go to following my segway tour.

Ok so we got up at 4 & out by 430. we made it here by 630 with atleast 20 people already in line. So far it has been pretty painless with an appointment. Our agent was great & said our passports would be ready for pick up at 1! We were out of there by 8. So we just spent an hour driving around to find somewhere to eat. We finally found a restaurant right before our dd started to lose her mind. Well we sit dwn to eat & guess who was sitting next to us? David Spade. It is not everyday that happens. We were parked next to each other too. I guess you never know who you will run into at a diner in LA on a Monday morning.

So wish us luck that all goes well & we have passports in hand at 1!

Oh Anna, what an aweseme daughte you and Carl raised. I am so happy for you:) And Happy Birthday to you both.

Okay Linda--just as soon as I thought I was finished packing you have me scrambling around to find jammies not out the Victoria's Secret catalog:rotfl2:

EVERYONE GOING TO THE WINE AND CHEESE GALA--I have three grass skirts and they do not fit into the smaller rolling bag we are "carrying on" to the ship. They are in the top of the big bag we are leaving with the porters (in a handy plastic sack for carrying onto the ship of course). If ALL of you try to remember to remind me to take them out of the big black bag when you see me Friday, then maybe one of us will remember and Dave and Pat will have skirts to wear for sail-away. So how 'bout it? Can ya please help me keep all the balls in the air and remind me about this while we sip wine? THANKS.

Stephanie--I am so glad things are goining so smoothly for you. And a star sighting to boot! Must be all the pixie dust;)

Debbie and Linda, I goofed!!! My new room number is 6552 not 6522. Sorry for the confusion. I'm just a little excited:cool1: :cool1:

What a great present! You are so very lucky!!

I think my mom has given up on reading the board (she is still working on her internet skills), so I can say... please do say hello to us/her, whether in the terminal ,the sailaway, or whatever! This is her first trip since we lost my dad. Only a few more days! We (my dh and I) are totally excited, but at this point, it seems like she's got a bit of mixed feelings, which is understandable. So do look out for her!

 C.
I'm a solo traveler for this cruise. I'd be happy to spend some time with her. Does she like cooking demos? I know I will be attending all of those.

Ok, I think I can put something together with my jammies that will not leave people screaming "MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!! The retina's are BURNING!!!!":scared1:

WOW that sounds sooooooooooo good, I hope your luck continues and you are on the road back home before the evening traffic starts!!:yay:

Hey all.....so just a quick note between showering after a morning at Typhoon Lagoon and now going to pick up my parents at the airport!

My housesitter called and said a package arrived at my house from Disney and wondered if I need it sent to me here at the resort before hte cruise. I can only imagine it's the DVC gift people havebeen getting......do we need it? Do we want it? Someone please post here or PM me to let me know if I should have her send it to me in Tuesday's mail.

Thanks!

:tigger:
Erik

ph and p.s. Jason and I have matching PJ's with Tigger and Roo on them....the Tshirts are getting very very faded but we'd wear them to breakfast! :)

How is eveyone's packing going? I will be working on the packing a little at a time all week. I have a busy week ahead...

**Christopher, DS 9, get his braces off today. He is very excited!! Katie goes to the orthodontist today, too. She has to get a study model done, so she can get started on braces asap. Just think of all the cruise money I could have if I didn't have all four children in braces. ;) At least they will have great smiles!!:rotfl:

**JC, DS11, has a baseball game on Tuesday night.

** I have to keep up with the disboards!;) That is a full time job as it is!:rotfl:

** I need to do some more :laundy: .

I have to hurry up run to Target so I can get back and work on some packing. Before the kids get out of school, I need to see what they put in their suitcases last night. :guilty: They seem to get upset when they see me changing out the outfits...they packed.;) It is better to do while they are gone.:rolleyes1

Oh, that sounds like fun.......   :wizard:

Erik - we are not taking the package because it is big and too heavy for our luggage. I don't think you will be needing it, depends what you do on Castaway. If you want me to PM you with what it is, let me know.

My ressies still have the chocolate museum listed. Has it been canceled?

HOORAY FOR YOU!!!!

I know AuntyBrat I shouldn't be that bad, but when she told my dad that she really didn't love him, but his house and vacations, I just got a little mad. This cruise will be great for all of us. Congrats! to that Verandah and Happy Birthday nanaguide. Brooklyn, sending more good wishes for the passport pickup your way!

"Scott, I am impressed at how much you get done every week. You must have a ton of energy. I read to my husband about your weekly projects and he is amazed. He keeps asking, "How old is he?""

Today at work we were going over the calendar and wanted to add another row to the month.....

Well I am 55 going on 7... actually I don't sleep much, maybe that is why.

Panic setting in we can not find Lynn's Grass skirt...

Yes no Joke about the Jammie Breakfast, TOoo Much Fun

Whew, not too much to catch up with since last night, so I can get my day off going to do all my last minute odds and ends shopping/Target runs, etc.

Is there anybody else who is DVC and did NOT get their package yet besides me? It seems like everyone has gotten it so far. My mail should be here in about an hour so hopefully then. :confused3

With so many of you aleady having started your vacations, that's so exciting, hope it is a great time already. Even though ours won't start until Friday, for some reason just waking up today and being in the week that it starts, I feel completely in vacation mode already!

Hadley thanks for the story on the broken liquor bottle. I always bring one bottle of Veuve champagne with me, and always pack it well. I haven't had any problems yet but I'm always a nervous wreck when I get the bag at the airport and open it to make sure. Now I'm thinking about reconsidering for this trip. I'd hate to ruin all my stuff for a 14 day trip.

Okay, off to get my 2nd last day off going. Good day everyone!:cool1:
Chris
