No Docs or suprises here. Maybe I should check with the people who have our similar address. For example, We are 555 Happy Valley ROAD, and they are 555 Happy Valley DRIVE. The postman can't get it straight. grrrr.

We get their pizza deliveries, mini blind deliveries from Fed Ex, and once I came home to find my house being bug-sprayed...um..."we don't pay for your service, go up the road and turn right." I should've just let him finish and reduce the number of creepy crawlies.


We used to have 3 acres between Sacamento and Tahoe, and we had rats everywhere, which attracted snakes . We got a couple of good cats who solved that problem! A friend of ours killed a HUGE rattle snake on our property for us, 10 rattles, 3feet long . The kids and I disected it , skinned it and cooked it. Yep, tastes like chicken.

I was looking at the navigators for the EB Panama Canal cruise:

I noticed that they had a three day murder mystery event. That sounds like fun. I hope they do it for our cruise. If it's a team thing, someone please keep me in mind.

....is anyone flying back to Pittsburgh from Barcelona and got their air though Disney? I was wondering who the flight is though so it can give me some idea of our flight times...ect. My guess is US AIR. Thanks in advance!

My dad applied for the passport last week and received it yesterday!!! I was so excited because they said they were really backed up. Now we are REALLY set to go. Have all your passports arrived?

Our childrens passports arrived last Saturday. I was so excited! We were worried we would have to go into the San Fransico office at the last minute. We even ordered extra birth certificate, just incase.

My DH and I already had our...thankfully.

I can't believe your dad got his so quickly! How great for you, one less thing to stress over.

Snakes AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH - I should have said the dresser is on the back patio, but it is freaky. Like I needed anything else on my list of things to do. I've never heard of rats in So. Cal for my entire life.

We are still waiting on DGS's passport -- it's been over (5) weeks and still has not shown up in the system...... finally today the post office agreed to follow up and trace the post office money order payment. Whilst, my local post office has (6) current applications "missing in action" and had (8) applicants who had to last minute cancel travel plans due to no passport earlier this week, they are not concerned and recommend that I not be concerned until the second week in May!

For those of you who are waiting for passports, all is not lost... as there is a backup plan available at great inconvenience, expense, and aggravation.

The longer this goes on the more I feel that DCL are never going to give me a room! I'm still down as GTY and I'm starting to get a little fed up of checking the DCL site all the time!

Anyway that's my rant over with

Miles to go - you can book 2 rooms on the airline rate but they wouldn't let us book 3! As the boat is 50% full you would have thought they would give a little bit of lee-way but instead I've ended up in GTY 12 as thats all I could afford (Dad (John) works for an airline hence we get cheap rate on hotels etc).

with only 50% capacity, it seems to me that many of us might get great comp upgrades at checkin if the ship is only half full or least "reasonably priced" opportunities to upgrade! (if DCL operates as Celebrity and RCCL)

i also booked GTY 12 category -- my category never has changed on my booking-- however, the website does show a room assignment, an upgrade to category 9.

Still haven't got a room assigned but here's hoping I get one soon! I actually don't mind having a Cat 12 or 11 as don't really want an outside room I'm just bored with not having a room number.

Also if people get upgrades at the port is there going to be anywhere on the boat for us to update our room assignments? Perhaps we could use the boards on the floors to show room changes too? (Dont know how big these are) as it seems we may have a lot of room changes once we get to the port.

Weather: we are sending a huge amount of wind your way. I've decided to stop all work on my backyard because we've had more wind than I can ever remember here. All my flowers had come up and were about 1/2 inch tall and they all blew out of the dirt today Birthday party on Saturday in a disgusting backyard - how special! Also, found out that the opposum that was eating my strawberries was a rat and had climbed into a dresser that we keep toys in was full of droppings and berry tops.

There's a saying in the UK that you're never more than 2 metres away from a rat. Its a disgusting thought really!

We might give you a run for your money out here in central British Columbia! We are still waiting for DD pasport (6 weeks), still no documents - nothing from DCL or the TA, no magnets and no flight details. At least we have a room if we can just get there. Oh well, no problem we still have plenty of time to panic so whats the sense in worrying about it?

Erik - my condolences. It is never easy to lose someone close, no matter how it happens. Take solace in your memories and may they put a smile on your face!
