May 11th 2008 ~ Any Double Dippers Out There?

Did you all get the message that the Passporter arrived early and they are sending them out already? It said they expect to have all orders sent out by the end of next week!!!

Welcome to the board!

Disney cruises normally only stop at Castaway Cay once per cruise, but this cruise is stopping at Castaway Cay twice, so it's "double dipping". :yay:

 Getting closer  I don't think the thrill of waiting ever passes no matter how many cruises you go on :rotfl2: does it? I see brunch is still open, guessing it might be a thin crowd since we will be back on CC that day. It will be our 1st brunch so if it's a smaller crowd then maybe it won't take as long. Excited to do brunch but excited to be at CC :cool1: for a 2nd day.

WHY are some of the date tickers different when we are all on the same cruise date? I know the time zone will affect it by a day but some are off a week :confused3

As we arrive in Orlando on May 3rd, that's when my ticker's counting down to - we've got a fab week of WDW delights before we drive over to Port Canaveral... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

That does make sense :rotfl: Thought I was having a "moment" there :headache: :rotfl2:

I don't see any brunch reservations open! :( I'd love to get one, although at this point I'm not sure I'd be able to reschedule our excursion. I'd be willing to try, though!!! ROFL

As for the tickers, I set mine for the 11th, although we'll leave here before then. I'm sure others set their tickers for the beginning of their trip. I just wasn't bright enough to do that. LOL

I've decided there's a new cruise-related disorder -- ohgodiwishsomeonewouldpostanupdatednavigatoritis. Symptoms: inflammation of the mouse-clicker finger, eye-twitching, faintly darkened skin from the computer screen.

I SOOOOO have it!!! I keep checking the cruise line site, hoping to get a later dinner at Palo on our night and a brunch. Make a Wish got our final Dolphin Excursion reservation for us, so at least I'm not clicking THAT button anymore. LOL Now I'm checking this board and the Passporters board constantly, hoping for a new post. Last night I designed my fish extenders and am just delaying the gratitude of actually sewing them. LOL We have two staterooms, so I figured I'd make two FEs instead of one long one. :D Our Mickey luggage tags are made, guess I can work on door signs. LOL

I gave up on that a while ago - as we're the first of the Double Dippers, I figured whatever I found wouldn't apply to us anyway... ;) :lmao: :surfweb:

Yea, I figured it would be tricky to actually tell what is going on since the other 4 day nav. won't really apply. I'm such a weirdo...I don't like to know what is going on. That's one of the most exciting parts of getting the navigator the night before. Seeing what is going on the next day. I also don't like to know what meals they are having. As you can probably tell, I'm not a planner nor am I very organized. I'd rather wing it! I'm quite spontaneous. We did 5 DCL's without even knowing about the Disboards and still had a ball. It's going to be weird only being on the ship for 4 days. And not having a day at sea. I LOVE the days at sea. The kids will love double dipping and we'll probably just spend the day on the ship in Nassau. Not too exciting of a port, so we'll just use it as a sea day.

We will also plan on using the Bahamas day as a day just on board the ship. DW and I may hit Atlantis casino for a few hours and leave the kids in camp...

We will see.

Wondering what the ranges of kids that will be on board???

I will start the list -

DD 7
DS 5

Both looking forward to all the family parties, the camp, and swimming. They are not the best "restaurant" kids, but we are hoping for the best. LOL

I know what you mean. I researched like crazy for our cruise last September but I've hardly opened the PassPorter in recent months for this one so I'm just going to go with the flow... We have a busy week in WDW prior to the cruise so all my planning instincts have been channeled into that - I'm just looking forward to those two CC days!!! We'll definitely be staying onboard in Nassau and just enjoying what the Wonder has to offer... :cloud9:

Yep, we're hitting the parks 4 days prior. Well, I think we may just do 2 actual days in the parks and swim the other 2 and hit Downtown Disney. I'll have to decide soon I guess. I know we want to do WDW and Animal Kingdom for sure. I wish the waterparks weren't extra for the Park hopper. I love the waterparks.

My kids....

DD - 3 1/2
DS - 9 months

First, there are Palo reservations open right now for 7:30 on the 11th, in case anybody is still trying to get them.

We have a dolphin excursion planned for Nassau, because it's what DD wants to do and this trip is about her. :goodvibes Otherwise we probably won't spend any other time off the ship at that port. As a matter of fact, I'd be happy with the two days at CC and a day at sea! :thumbsup2

Morning guys!

Have started to list the kids age inventory on the first post of this thread so if anyone else wants me to add their children let me know... :thumbsup2

Also, is there any other information you want to have listed on the first post for ease of reference??? I guess I should've asked this a while ago but I'm not the most organised of people... ;)
