Just think of how much work we'll all get done tomorrow...at work, housework, schoolwork, grocery shopping, quality time with kids (or friends at the bar!).

I'm going to work on a photo book at kodakgallery.com. We have one that I uploaded and ordered from our Sept. '05 Disney cruise and Tyler looks at it all the time. He actually likes that to be his bedtime book sometimes! I keep telling him I will do the same with our pictures from our Sept. '06 cruise but just never manage to make the time. So....I guess tomorrow will be a good time to do that after work!I agree. I'll just take a deep breath and maybe get something DONE on my day off! DrHug will be working, so without him to encourage me to piddle the day away
Maybe I'll get productive and also do one from our June '05 Poly/4-day cruise....maybe not though because I don't think I had my digital camera for that cruise.
Oh, thanks....I went to the right one, just didn't know the address of the site. It's saved under my favorites, but it's saved only as Ship of Thieves, so I was guessing.

We're hoping they'll hire both of us because for 4 attorneys, they certainly need 2 secretaries and the currently have NONE and are supposedly doing their own stuff temporarily.

Wish me luck everybody....I'm applying for a new job tomorrow. The firm where I work is chaotic, has a very high turnover rate, major mismanagement, our office manager doesn't keep confidential matters under wraps, no communication, and much, much more. It's not a good place to work, but I stay only because they pay me well and I can't find anything that pays more, except for places that expect you to have 5-7 years of experience.
The rumor mill in the legal community brought news of 4 lawyers (the whole labor law department) of a very large firm in town (with headquarters in Detroit and branches in 3 cities) have PULLED OUT of the firm and started their own office. This just happened last week, so they need secretaries. They haven't even started advertising for secretaries yet, so I (and another secretary I work with) hope to get in there before they get flooded with resumes.
Other secretaries tell me I should ask for $3/hour more than what I currently make based on my experience, so that's what I'll do and if necessary, will have room to negotiate and still come out ahead if I get the job. Working on my resume & cover letter tonight and will fax to them in the morning.

My co-worker and I are faxing our resumes at the same time to the other firm, so I wonder what they'll think. "Wow! What's going on over there to make 2 secretaries want to jump ship?!"
