This can't be a brochure for the PC cruise, can it?? Could they have brochures published already when the TA's don't have any info yet?? Think I'll visit "the other thread" and see what was said after this post. Thanks for the recon work. :thumbsup2

Angie, that was from the 2003-2005 brochure. :)

The big question do you have the menus from that crusie, lol

Pj

PJ, the person with the menus will locate the file they are stored in & forward it to me ASAP. I will be glad to share the link with all of you. :goodvibes

Hi everybody! I'm hoping to join you all if work lets me have that much time off. That's a BIG if because they don't usually allow anybody to take 2 weeks in a row off. But I'm still going to try based on our employee manual which says that only applies to the full-time people. Since I only work 30 hours/week, I should be able to slip through the cracks. I put in my request today for the time off, so please send tons of pixie dust that our office manager doesn't laugh me out the door in the morning! I'll be absolutely devastated if they deny me being able to go on this awesome cruise!

Just in case they let me go, here's my info:

Disboards Handle: HollyTyler
Name: Holly (36)
Cat Cabin/Deck: Anything I can get! Heck, I'd even sleep in a lifeboat if I could!
Early/late dining? Early
Located in Lansing, MI

I usually travel with DS4, but will most likely be traveling solo this time. I halfway convinced a friend to go, but that depends on what the price ends up being. Might book for 2 anyway, as a TBA (like somebody suggested in an earlier post) just in case I find somebody to join me.

More info about me: single mom, part-time legal secretary, part-time law student. I think that's about it! :thumbsup2

Ok, I have been playing again and with approval will post.....

Ok found his response and he is using a 2003 to 2005 brochure:lmao: So I am willing to bet the prices might be a touch higher....:dance3:

Sorry I was watching AI! I have the 2003-2005 brochure & it lists prices for an inside cabin at a maximum price ceiling of 1699.00. So I was going by that since DCL is saying 1699.00 is the starting price for this cruise. The third & fourth person is also the maximum price at 1399.00 & 1699.00. Sorry I don't have my scanner anymore but maybe someone with a similar brochure could scan it? I can tell you that a cat. 12 is 1699.00 increases by 100.00 up to cat. 9 which is 2099.00 10 is 2199.00 7 is 2499.00 & increases by 100.00 up to 4 which is 3199.00. I thought I read that the price ceiling for a cat. 12 was 2399.00. If that's true it's an increase of 1.41 which makes the price ceiling for a cat. 7 a little over 3500.00 per person. Again I don't know for sure what the actual prices will end up being but if you go by the prices on this particular DCL brochure it at least gives a ball park figure of how the prices might increase for each category & keep in mind, none of these figures include tax or fees.

2003-2005, it would have been nice if that had been stated to begin with. :rolleyes1

Thanks for clearing that up. :)

Cool! Unfortunately, I've never ventured up there. But there is a group up there I love called Da Yupers! My favorite Christmas song is Rusty Chevrolet! :rotfl2:

Congratulations!!!! It's great that they would approve this so far out. It really helps with the planning. I know DH will have to wait until the beginning of 2008 to get approval.

Regarding Da Yoopers, I like Burt & Bunna's Christmas Nuts. Have you checked out their website?

My mom, has lived in Chicago for over 50 years and still talks like a yooper.:) After being on the phone for awhile with her, I start to pick it up, ya sure.

Funny about your mom's accent! I'll definitely check out Da Yoopers website!

Since I'm not a full-time employee, it's easier for me to get time off approved. Comes in handy for cruising, that's for sure!

Of course, if I worked full-time, I could afford MORE cruises!!!! :thumbsup2 But then I'd probablyflunk out of law school. One B last term, still waiting for my other grade. :cheer2:

DD sent me one of her creations, she's till tweaking it. She wants to put a silhouette of Mickey on the ship.

Angie, honey, slow down sweetie, lol. We can decided what we are labeling, after we are booked, lol. First thing will be our signatures, I have a smaller version for that and will share on Jan 31st.

Pj

But I want to go NOW!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Awesome work, could she do a version that would be shrunk down for signature and have text sized to suit that.

Ya know, Angie has plans to wrap the ship with it, lol. And we might want to put it on a button maybe or something in that size.

I am hoping for a banner that I could hook to a flagpole holder on my (hopeful) verandah.
