Deb, what I don't understand is what you're doing up so late?

Woody

Deb, I'd be just as excited as you are if I were going so soon too! :yay: Awesome! A co-worker will be on the DVC cruise next week, but she and the people she's traveling with are heading down in a couple days. I'm SO JEALOUS, but happy for her too!

I wonder if she might be on my boat or PJs boat????????? Maybe she's just going down early?????????????

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

12:30am is not late for a night owl like me....!!!!!! Blame it on my grandmother.....she got me started on this path at a very young age!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, I have got to get some sleep. I'm going to the Eagles and Dixie Chicks concert tomorrow night.

Woody

Oh, I think I understand -- all too well.

Woody

Have you heard of the Hamptons? Or do you have your own Hamptons on the West Coast? Or do you just know how to kick off a great vacation??? Or all of the above???

Call your insurance company. Some companies/policies allow that if the deductible and related expenses are in the 4th quarter of the year they willl carry it over the next year without you having to re-meet the deductible if it is all part of the same illness/treatment. The worse that can happen is that they tell you the policy does not offer that feature - the best is not having to re-meet the deductible and either way you are only out a few minutes of your time to call and ask.

Good luck

Sandy

I was going to post the same thing! That's how our policy works.

A few years ago I spend a fair amount of time in Manhattan. On the weekends, while I went to L.A., colleagues went to the Hamptons. (But they did not have to take the bus!)

YEA, my last cruise was Sept 06 and my best cruise until our May cruise together, I'm sure! It's been over a year and it was a rough year so we are really going to relax and enjoy ourselves.

I called DCL today and they told me that NO ONE will be getting on the boat before 1:00pm.....no matter what time you get to the terminal. I'm so bummed....I wanted to be drinking BBCs by the pool by at least 11am. If I'm one of the first to get on, that only gives me 3 hrs. poolside before we have to go to the room and do the drill.....not enough time....really cutting my day short. John has a hot stone massage around 2pm....we better get on before his appointment and he's really getting his poolside time cut short.

Despite all of this, I'm still getting to the terminal at 9am! I'll just meet people and chat until it's time to board!

:cutie: :cutie: :cutie:

I love hanging out in the terminal and seeing how excited everyone is! It's so contagious!!!

It was also top news in our nightly broadcasts.

Paul is a die hard Formula One fan. The race this Sunday is a big problem, as it's for the title I think 4 way in contention and Wilson has a kart race so he is stressed out about what to do (not really) his friend will be taping the F1 race for him.

We are trying to plan an F1 race vacation for the 2 of us in the next few years. Lots of cool places to go visit and watch a race.

Paul also raced ralley cars when we met. He was a navigator.

We watch pretty much all racing, not great Nascar fans, but we would watch it over football or basketball.

Give me a heads up next time you are coming up for a race perhaps we can mini meet???
You might not have to go far if F-1 comes to Vegas! It would be nice if they did! Racing is our sport of choice also! Champ Car street race in Vegas this year was awesome and the course would be perfect for F-1.

Hi Nan. Forgot to mention that my Mom has done the "painted Ladies" too, with my god daughter. Very cool. Also wanted to ask you if Wilson and/ or your DH like other types of racing besides karting. V and I are going to the sportscar races this weekend in Monterey(Laguna Seca).:car: :drive: :car:

Bubba-have you gone to Laguna Seca before? It's a lot of fun...super dusty though. HP used to sponser a team and DH would entertain customer's in the HP tent, so we've been the the Long Beach Grand Prix and Laguna Seca a few times. I found it very exciting...love the entire environment! Ironically both times I was preggo with my boys, we were at the races...that became the big HP joke and the third time we went, everyone was shocked to NOT see me pregnant! Have fun!!!

Hi LiserAnn! Yes , we have been going to Laguna for many years. Sometimes twice a year. Been to Long Beach Grand Prix lots of times too. I have been going to races since I was a kid. One of my favorite things to do. I got Venetia hooked pretty quick too!:thumbsup2 Really looking forward to this weekend!

I'm lucky enough to have had parents that loved me for all I was worth and me to have loved them that way too. I have good childhood memories, good young adult memories and great "old" adult memories with them. Not everyone has that and we aren't in control of what we get. Knowing that mine were and are good I need to be grateful and thankful for all the time and love we have shared. And savior the moments we share now.

Nan,

DITTO, DITTO and DITTO!!

I too had amazing parents that were generous, supportive, loving and left me with wonderful memories.

I had stayed quiet when others had posted about their relationships with their parents, as I didn't want to expound on how fortunate and blessed I felt with the relationship that I had with my parents.

As I've mentioned before, I miss them every day and feel fortunate for the time that I had with them.

So I placed my Thanksgiving wine order on winemiles last night. I love it because it's so easy to just click on what you want and have it delivered to your door. It's the only way I shop and now I can do it for wine too!

Thanks Karen, as usual.....a great selection!

:thumbsup2 :yay: :thumbsup2

Thank you, Deb!! We really appreciate the business!!

XO,

Karen

Holly, it does look like things are falling into place with Tyler's referral. I hope things move quickly now. Some good info about the insurance companies from on here too.

Nan, love and  as you continue to cope with your mother's illness. Enjoy those lunches together.:)

Deb, woohoo, you will soon be sitting round that pool!!!

update on the potty training. Haley is pretty much finished! She is doing fantastic!!! So I don't think there will be any worries for the club!

Well done Haley and well done mom!:thumbsup2

Had a great time at the comedy club, laughed my can off, WAY too tired now to function, WAY past my bedtime. Goodnight all! :grouphug:

I'm glad you're laughing again Holly.:)

what is everyone sleeping or something?

I watched The Wicker Man in the middle of the night last night, pretty different than what I was expecting. Sure paints women in a whole new light!

Well, I went to bed early. School Board meeting and need to recover from week-long Indians hangover. I needed to be ready for tonight too!

Boy, did my sig get chopped - no more picture!:sad2:

V....what's going on with the indians game? Are they playing tonight? Does anyone know if John is there? I hope they clinch it tonight if they are playing! GO TRIBE!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Weird off day in the middle of the week . . . Game 5 tonight - first pitch at 8:20 or so!
