Call your insurance company. Some companies/policies allow that if the deductible and related expenses are in the 4th quarter of the year they willl carry it over the next year without you having to re-meet the deductible if it is all part of the same illness/treatment. The worse that can happen is that they tell you the policy does not offer that feature - the best is not having to re-meet the deductible and either way you are only out a few minutes of your time to call and ask.

Hi Nan. Forgot to mention that my Mom has done the "painted Ladies" too, with my god daughter. Very cool. Also wanted to ask you if Wilson and/ or your DH like other types of racing besides karting. V and I are going to the sportscar races this weekend in Monterey(Laguna Seca).

Update on my mom, the oncologist was primarily worried about mom's heart issue and we are now going back to the cardioloist tomorrow and then primary care doc on Friday. Mom also had a fall on Monday. This is the big worry. If she is put on blood thinners and she has a fall it could be bad news.

We will address after cancer drugs in the next few weeks. Her cancer was estrogen postive (that isn't good) so he does advise some kind of drug (the names escape me) first we have to do bone dentsity tests as the side effects are osteoporosis (which she allready suffers from)

Other than all that she is doing ok. We had a nice lunch together and I can just ask for more of those times to enjoy.

Nan, I'm sorry about all you're continuing to go through with your mom, but happy you were able to have an enjoyable time with her at lunch. Wishing you many, many, many more of those times with your mom.

Glad you mentioned this as it was also what I was thinking. Sometimes there are resources for us that we don't know exsist. ASK ASK ASK!!! Every person you talk with Holly ask and tell them your story. You never know who can help you.

Also ask the doctor if they will accept "contracted rates" for their service. Explain your situtation that you are a student and trying to make it all work.

Lastly, forever the bean counter....It is important to remember that each time Tyler is called out of school you have to watch him rather than be at work. That is a cost also. Many people don't see that as tanigble because maybe they have sick leave or PTO, but it really is a cost. Perhaps that is also something that you can remind your ex about. I bet if he needs to continue to take time off from work this will be a big problem.

Bubba, I believe I saw mom in my pic of John and I believe you saw Sandi in your butterflies. I believe our loved ones come to us in whatever form we might recognize....and that they are always close to us.

What a great experience.....how interesting that it's my and Venetia's mom who came to each of our husbands. Sandi loves you very much as my mom does John. What a way to compliment you both!

Deb, I'd be just as excited as you are if I were going so soon too! Awesome! A co-worker will be on the DVC cruise next week, but she and the people she's traveling with are heading down in a couple days. I'm SO JEALOUS, but happy for her too!

YEA, my last cruise was Sept 06 and my best cruise until our May cruise together, I'm sure! It's been over a year and it was a rough year so we are really going to relax and enjoy ourselves.

I called DCL today and they told me that NO ONE will be getting on the boat before 1:00pm.....no matter what time you get to the terminal. I'm so bummed....I wanted to be drinking BBCs by the pool by at least 11am. If I'm one of the first to get on, that only gives me 3 hrs. poolside before we have to go to the room and do the drill.....not enough time....really cutting my day short. John has a hot stone massage around 2pm....we better get on before his appointment and he's really getting his poolside time cut short.

Despite all of this, I'm still getting to the terminal at 9am! I'll just meet people and chat until it's time to board!

So I placed my Thanksgiving wine order on winemiles last night. I love it because it's so easy to just click on what you want and have it delivered to your door. It's the only way I shop and now I can do it for wine too!

Paul is a die hard Formula One fan. The race this Sunday is a big problem, as it's for the title I think 4 way in contention and Wilson has a kart race so he is stressed out about what to do (not really) his friend will be taping the F1 race for him.

We are trying to plan an F1 race vacation for the 2 of us in the next few years. Lots of cool places to go visit and watch a race.

Paul also raced ralley cars when we met. He was a navigator.

We watch pretty much all racing, not great Nascar fans, but we would watch it over football or basketball.

Give me a heads up next time you are coming up for a race perhaps we can mini meet???

So there's this guy Joe on my halloween thread and he's booked on an Aug 09 repo in a cat 1....I PMd him for the details.....what repo is it and how did he book for 09 already. I want to book for Dec 09 and it's too early still. Then John said, we're cruising Sept 08 and then Dec 09....I know my wife won't wait 15 months without cruising....I know she's going to want to do at least one inbetween!!!!!!!!......what a wonderful DH....he's going to let me cruise at least twice a year! I like that!

I told him we'll see when our geeks cruise in 09 and just jump on that one! I know you guys are doing Jan 08.....I'm doing Sept 08 and that's just too short inbetween so I'll have to miss that one, but I can be on the 09 with you....what's taking you so long to plan it out......HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hamptons are the East End of LI on the ocean where all the NYCitidiots from Manhattan go to every weekend in the Summer. I did it for many years with the Manhattanites. But at the time, my mom lived out there....not in the Hamptons, but in the middle of the Island near Stony Brook. I took mass transit to Mom's house from the city and then grabbed mom's car and commuted out East to the Hamptons for the bars and beach.....the single days!
