Yankee Candle Company sucked out my wallet today. Hate when that happens. Darned place! :lmao: I had their famous $10 off coupon when you spend $25 or more. As usual in that store, I wasn't paying enough attention to how much I had in my basket, so at the checkout when I was wondering if I even had $25 worth of stuff to even use the coupon, imagine my surprise when after I was rung up and AFTER the $10 was deducted, my total was still $35!!!!

Hello....My name is Holly and I'm a candle-a-holic.

do you use the candles? I like them, but don't buy them anymore because I never seem to be able to use/enjoy them. I guess I should just lite them while I watch tv :confused3

Tell me to shut up or just ignore my comments if you want....

okay, have you thought of reaching to the counselor on your own to give him/her the other side of the issues with Tyler?

I would hope that this counselor would of course ask to see both parents, as you said DUH!!! but counselors are people and they can be motivated for reasons that we don't know or understand, so I'm a worrier...and nosy and bossy and must be in control.

Sorry, I know this may not help, but just my mom gut tells me to stick my nose in (or it would if this was my issue)

okay, back to baseball or football or whatever it is that John and V talk about that goes right over my head.
I feel exactly the same as you do. I would love to contact the counsellor on my own, but have no way of finding out who the appointment is with. It's a big mess. :headache: :sad2: And if his pediatrician tomorrow says, "I recommend starting counselling", then I guess I'll contact his dad and tell him that and ask, "So when and where is this appointment so I can make sure I'm there on time". Not a good situation. :scared:

Ok here are some pics from the Life Celebration we held for my mom yesterday.

This is where we held the bbq. Me in the background cleaning the tables

Some butterfly shots. I don't have any of them all flying away, which all but one did. My cousin Karen had one who was not ready to leave so we were able to get some close up shots.

We did have an awesome day. I didn't sleep to well the night before for worrying about the rain. But it turned out great. Thanks again to Nan for the suggestion on where to get the butterflies. It was amazing. I hope some one in my family got some shots as they flew away. I can only hope that I did Mamma proud.

I ALWAYS have at least one candle burning. Always 1 in the living room, sometimes also one in the kitchen and maybe one in the bedroom too. I just like to smell good stuff every where I walk throughout the house. Every time I get home from somewhere, the first thing I do is light candles. I'm truly addicted!

Venetia:

The pictures are beautiful. I have tears. Joyful tears. I'm sure your mom was proud and smiling on this day.

Truely beautiful.

I will think of Sandi when I see butterflies now :goodvibes

p.s. that's how my sister, Sandra, spells her name too with an i :goodvibes

I like them by the tub. Keep lights off, only candle, rest and pretend I'm on vacation somewhere.

What great photos. Thanks so much for sharing. Looks like it was a beautiful day.

There is no way to catch up, so I'm just jumping back in here. We spent the last 2 days traveling to my SIL's funeral. Sad, sad for my brother. I am so glad we went. We drove over 600 miles in the 2 days. Back home by 9:30 last night and now trying to catch up on the laundry, etc.

We spent Friday laying new flooring in the downstairs bedroom. It looks really, really good! We bought a vinyl that looks and FEELS like wood, but is very easy to install. Even Dennis and I could do it!! :lmao:

I'm sure it meant a lot to your brother to have you both there. I hope you have a quiet week.

I'm sure she's very proud! What a wonderful ceremony.....and great pictures! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

(And she had great taste being an Alan Jackson fan!):thumbsup2

Can't keep my eyes open any longer. Need to get rested for a hectic day at work tomorrow. I'm sure my main boss is still frantically getting ready to be off work a couple days. Plus I'll have an hour of work piled up for me when I arrive since I'll be late due to Tyler's pediatrician appt. SO....lots of rest will help me get through the day. Goodnight all!

Holly,
Way to go on the weight loss. I just noticed your ticker.:cheer2:
At my WW weight in last friday, I hit 50 lost. :goodvibes

nite Holly.

Okay you guys and your weight loss....I'm thinking I better start or I'll be the wishing I had when I see all you skinny minnies :cutie:

after desert...going to look for it now. :lmao:

I am so behind in posts, but I thought I would drop by quickly to tell all my fellow sports fans that I am on the hunt for a new team:mad: :lmao: OMG, first shut out:mad: by the horrid steelers:scared1: and then tonight:sad2: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I am about to put all my tickets up for sale and see what goodies I can buy with the money (that would be quite a few DOD's and massages on board!). I wasn't at the game as Scott and I gave our 2 tickets to my sister and BIL so they could go with my mom and dad. We babysat for my niece...who is asleep in her crib for the first time in her life (at 18 months!). Will try and catch up on pages of posts later. Let me know what my new team should be:lmao: :lmao:

Way to go!:thumbsup2

Thanks!

How did the Open House go?

It went ok....there was a steady stream of people walking thru and looking at it....now will they show up and bid at the auction....who knows. The Auctioneer still says it's 50-50 if it will sell because of the soft market right now. Great! Just my luck!

I took DS 7 yr old today to the music store, Starving Musician, to rent a violin. So as we are driving home, he asks if you have to have holes in your ears and rings in your nose to work at a music store. I say no, but sometimes musicians do have those things. He then proceeded to tell me he really didn't want a ring in his nose. I think he thought he would have to if he was going to be a musician. I told him he didn't need to and he was quite happy. And so was I!

Lisa

How cute is he....wanting to be the musician, but not with the piercings....thank goodness no noses! Then again, who knows what will be in style when he grows up!

Good night!

Daniel is gone!!! I do not do very good with this kind of stuff..I miss him already.:( :( :( :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

 Sorry Lisa...I can imagine how hard it must be, but you will get to see him soon and it must be good to know he is having a great time at school!

Can someone supply me with the person's name who is coordinating shuttle transfer from MCO to the port? A long time ago I put our name on the list to share a shuttle. I wanted to try and finalize some of our plans and thought I would start there first.

Thanks!!!!

PM me and I will let you know what I have going on as far as transportation.

Venetia, how beautiful a day you have spent in memory of mom's life! The butterfly tribute was over the top...she's giggling in heaven!

BTW, John's DD Sandi also spells hers that way....and her full name is Sandra too.....So Sandi is very special in our life as well!
