ok, I am going to be a grouch tonight.

I got a form letter stating I didn't get the job. It didn't mention going with another candidate.

Down the side at the bottom there was a personal hand written note from the HR lady saying she hopes I keep them in mind for the future.

So sorry to hear this! You'll get the next one and it will be better!

well if I stick it out through December I will not have to pay back any education that the hospital reimbursed to me. So that's a good thing.

The beaded lanyards sound wonderful, but I don't know if my DH would wear a beaded one. On the TA cruise we had some made that were so light that you didn't even know you were wearing them. If you decide against the beaded ones and no one is going to be doing them then I can do them. The cost is about $1.50 each or less if we order 200 of them. We ordered more than that on the TA I think. We had several people volunteer to help with the cost but can always charge each person. They said - Taking the Magic to the Med. We could have -Ship of Thieves on ours. Somebody let me know if no one else is doing these and if you want me to do them. I liked them because you knew the person wearing them was a disser even if you didn't know them.

I think those sound great...My friend won't be crushed if she doesn't have to do them..... I vote for the ones we can customize!

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! Well, this just means there's something WAY better waiting for you!

V....so sorry you didn't get the job you wanted, but when one door closes another one opens....you may not know it yet, but there is a reason and that's just waiting for you around the corner.

I ran errands with the brother hen today, then the visiting nurse came and Angel just barked at her like a wolf....I had to lock her in the bathroom.

Angel is coming along fine. We keep a collar on her and use it if she's not doing what we ask, then she will submit and comply. We put a doggy door in that will let her out, but not the cat. She's not used to it yet, but she will learn to use it. We also got her a zap collar, so far we haven't needed to use it on her....maybe just to get her to stop chasing Ella. We'll try it this weekend and see if it works. Overall, she's much more trainable and less out of control. Good! Thanks to Sandi and the boys working with her a lot.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

This weekend will be more soaking of the legs and trying to work the gunk off the top layer.....then moving more furniture out of mom's house into the storage shed. This is our last full weekend in the house. Next weekend is the open house and the following weekend is the auction. It's gone by quickly.

we're home. Molly had 6 teeth pulled. an extra baby tooth, as a freebie :goodvibes

Molly is bleeding alot she is packed with gauze and is leaking out her mouth so is using a kleenex to keep it from dripping on her clothes.

I hope it stops up soon. I can change out the guaze in a few minutes. Then every hour thereafter.

She was great during the the whole process. The doctor let me sit at the door to watch and keep her company. She didn't even flinch with the shots of novocaine.

V, sorry you got bad news on the job front. Hope the next one that comes along is the right one.

Hope Molly feels better soon!

John - are you at the game?

John2 is on the couch watching!!! I'm peeking from the computer.

Hope Molly feels better soon!

thanks, she is feeling okay. She is writing me notes on post its instead of talking. It's pretty cute, I'll have to save them to scrapbook, yes I took pictures.

not that much blood on the gauze, it looked worse with what was dripping.

It's getting close to the time to start thinking about packing for the Halloween cruise. Our washer and dryer are getting old and will need to be replaced soon. I think I'll take a suitcase full of clothes for the trip and drop them off at the laundry and have them done. John will probably do the same with his trip clothes. Then we'll be so ready to get out of here and start this trip.

Originally, we were all going down together in a 12 passenger van. But DSIL Joe's grandfather got sick and just passed away. Joe is still in FL now. Sandi and the boys will move down there with Joe to live with his grandmother after Christmas. So Sandi is going to drive Joe's truck down fully loaded and leave it there. We'll drive down in the mini van with the boys. When we drive home, everyone will be together in the van.

I can't wait to see their faces when they are welcomed aboard the Wonder....and I can't wait to see our dress up pic all together. It's our first time going with family instead of friends. It should be a lot of fun!

Sounds like Molly is going to be rich!

sounds so fun. I've always thought that it would be great fun to be on the Halloween Cruise.

I'm not sure how to give her the tf money tonight. I think a $100 and perhaps 20 $1 coins. I better see if Paul can make a quick run to the bank for me. I wasn't expecting that freebie!!! I don't feel bad about giving her extra for this event. It was hard for her and she really was brave. She also saves all her tooth fairy money. I have the sense that it will be spent on something really important to her at a later time in her life. (perhaps college or a car or something of that nature)

I wish my family could travel together, but we can't even get together for a day without a few of us needing drugs!

CHEERS! To Molly for being so brave...that's not an easy thing to do! I hope she heals quickly and without any pain.
