there is lots on tonight!

MNF
Dancing with the Starts
The Bachelor!!

Have you seen the previews for The Bachelor? It is all bare chest, running and cooking and watching the ocean and not a lady in sight, lol.

Everyone must be watching TV . . .

I was asking everyone at work today what time it was . . .

ONLY ONE person gave the correct response, but I have them learning . . . they all looked at me confused, but of course . . .

IT'S TRIBE TIME NOW!

How about

Chuck
Heroes
Journeyman!

I taped those, and snuck over to watch most of Chuck, seems interesting, quarky switching between low budget public access feeling and spy show. :upsidedow

I have had two birthday dinners in two days, last year they all forget, guilt is good for the palette. Last night it was wilted spinach salad with goat cheese phylo cups, then BBQ chicken thighs and garlic baked potatoes, followed by my good friend Tony's Cheesecake. Tonight was Red Lobster, endless shrimp, yum.

The Fall fair is next weekend, that could be fun, I will have to check in with my Bf and see if she is going. woo hoo

With you on Heroes and I'll probably give Journeyman a try but at 8 it's Prison Break.:happytv:

Well, I don't get to watch right now. Watching MNF and taping these shows. Heroes is a definite, and the others we shall see.

Lots of SF on TV this year. I am wondering about the remake of the Bionic woman too.

Happy Birthday PJ!

I watched the pilot for the Bionic woman on our Comcast on demand, I am not sure I am going to watch as it seems way different than the original.

I was afraid of that - probably more violence and sex instead of good stories, which is what I was afraid of. I LOVED those original shows when I was a kid - the Six Million Dollar Man, and the Bionic Woman.

Just out of curiousity Noel, are you a Battlestar Galactica fan? A friend hooked me on that one last year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PJ....
LOVE YA, MOM AND DAD! ;)

Sorry, a little bored tonight - quiet around here. Girls are at dance class and don't have any papers to grade. Have my court appearance tomorrow. Little nervous, but what is one to do?

Anyway, we can't stop thinking about our Ducks. They are sure to fall off the radar soon. Just waiting for the shoe to drop. But for those that hate our uniforms and think they are . . . . . well, ugly . . . . here is a little history behind them. Just trying to entertain . . . . . . .

Trying to get the TOP of 1960, and then bed. That is my birthyear!

Night, night Grandmother!!
:goodvibes Missed this post last night but I am reading it just as I'm close to retiring again, thanks Noel, I'm liking the sound of that :cloud9:
I have been a sci fi buff since I was a child. We are watching The Stand tonight on sci fi.
The Stand is the last book of Stephen King's I will ever read:scared1: Just too real and scary for me:eek: I would read his books then stay awake at night, or worse than that, go to sleep and have terrible dreams. My DH read all of his books and then my DD carried on the tradition, and bought the few that he was missing, so she has quite a collection. I found the movies worse than the books!
Kathe,

Congratulations!!

How generous and giving of you to have them stay with you. I hope that it will be joyous and that everything works our for the best!!

Thanks for sharing!

Karen
Thanks Karen. I really feel that I'm the one that has received a gift. I won't see too much of this little one once they've moved, how lucky I get to share everyday with her for now.
Thank you all for the congratulations on the arrival of baby MollyKate. We had such problems with communications yesterday with our son, and didn;'t manage to talk to him till this morning. All is well, new mummy Karen should be home with baby this afternoon, so we can go anytime.

John - great pictures of you all at the game, and what a cute bear with cute Sophia!!!

Kathe - we had our other son and daughter in law living with us for 3 months over the period they had their first child a few years ago. It worked well for us, probably because we have a great daughter in law, as it seems is the case with you too. Enjoy the time.
Marilyn, 3 months is a long time, I'm glad it worked out well, and what lovely memories for all of you.
How wonderful you are being so flexible, good luck to all of you!!

Wow, the coming and going is crazy isn't it? Same at my house,

Daniel goes to college
Mom moves in
Vanessa moves in
Drew (Nephew) moves in
Kat (Nephew's girl friend) moves in
Kat moves out (found an apartment)
Drew moves out Wednesday when he leaves for France for the school year there to teach English.

Always something going on at my house too!! Enjoy it while you can!!
Lisa

:rotfl: :rotfl:
The teens will have to keep up the conversation at our table Lisa, as we may be napping to catch up on our sleep :)

Bubba,
I finally saw lions tonight - they were mixing it up with the hyenas. The hyenas were being super vocal.

Man that was awesome! We only caught the end but in time to hear that last roar and charge! Did you see the whole thing? The lions showed up about 7:35 or so according to what Ive been reading on the forum. The Hyenas were defending their meal (water buffalo) and the lions were just harrasing them. All this right out in front of the Lodge! What a wakeup call!

I didn't see the whole thing but heard most of it.

Looks like they had rain today too! Definitely a good thing as dry as its been looking.
