Ooooh, I would not like that at all. My favorite part of a cruise is sea days. :cloud9: I'm just not a beach person, and Tyler doesn't handle heat well at all (actually, neither do I), so we usually only spend about 45 minutes on CC.

Oh...and good morning!

Having not cruised before, I am with you Holly on the sea days. I am also not too much of a beach person - get bored, but I am really looking forward to a day(or part of) on CC.

If we run out of hot water after a couple of showers, will a new water heater fix it or is it some type of piping issue?

But at the end of the day, you will have some fun new car! That is good news. Hope the engine light was just broken and not the engine!
Your wine sounds lovely.

Ok, I feel stupid. But was is BBC?? Thanks! Lisa

If you drain the water heater (after turning it off, of course) every 6 months, to clean out any debris and scale, it will last longer. Instead of buying a whole new water heater you can also replace the heating elements and/or thermostats. Depends on whether they are electric or gas water heaters.

Also, when the engine lights come on it is sometimes because the gas cap wasn't put on tight enough. If there is an air leak the engine light will come on. It is considered a leak in the emissions control system. That's an easy fix. Hope it isn't somethng major like Catalytic converter or Oxygen sensors, or something else major. I bought a diagnostic machine for 90 bucks and can shut off the engine light myself, if it's something simple. Every so often the gas attendants here will leave the gas cap loose, so I can use the computer to shut it off. Some places charge 90 bucks just to do a reading. The machine will tell you what's wrong with the engine usually. There is a book, or a CD, with the machine that interprets the codes. Just get the codes yourself, and give them to the mechanic. Save a few $$$.

This cruise will be a whole different experience for me, since I won't have Tyler with me. So I'll be able to go to the adult part of CC for the first time! I hope to be able to relax in one of the hammocks and watch the water or read a good book, with a fruity drink of some sort! :cloud9:

Just think of all those sea days next year!!:dance3: :yay:  :yay: :dance3:
I'm SO excited about sitting in a comfy chair on Deck 4, just watching the water go by! That's my absolute favorite part of a cruise!

This is a really cute you-tube. If you have a moment...

Oh yes, I hope we get a hammock or we might nab yours when you go for your 'fruity' drink!!!

I'll be there on Deck 4 somewhere. I think John will be there the whole cruise!:lmao:

I will be having an afternoon crash I am sure. I got up when John did around 5am...he was making so much racket I really had no choice and then I could not go to sleep.

It looks like rain here...good for the flowers, plants and lawn....bad for outdoor fun!

Good Morning V. Angie got up early here. Now I have the same problem as you. I am in for an early crash. :rotfl: I didn't get to bed until after 1 a.m., and got up a few minutes after 6, because I couldn't go back to sleep. The bedroom door is squeaky and woke me when Angie left the room and headed to the computer. Now she is downtown doing laundry. I think we just need to buuy a new washer and let it go at that. It will probably be cheaper in the long run, even if we have to leave it here. :confused3 . AND, God forbid, what if the house doesn't sell right away? :scared1:

John is on a course doing a 'Digistory'. These are short 2 and a half minute stories or a part of your life spoken to pictures, videos etc. They take some time to do - almost 2 full weekends. He is doing one that can go on the business website about how the business began as he keeps getting people asking him how he come he managed to be selling lecterns.

Our church is paying for 6 members to make one. John isn't very happy with the spoken part he recorded last weekend - not natural for him to read out loud, but it is done now.

That sounds like a very interesting project. And sounds fun too. When do we get to see it?

:scared1: Steal my hammock! :rotfl2: Well, it's good to know I'll have company while relaxing in paradise. Just come over and give me a shake if I snore too loudly! ;)

DrHug & V, I'll be napping too. As soon as my pot roast is done, I'll have that for lunch, then have a nice long nap until it's time to pick Tyler up.

Well I might be able to post a link to the website when it is done. Not sure it will be 'fun' though!!!
