I have just spent ages scrolling through past pages to find the post I wanted. There was a lady on our cruise who had brain tumours, and I have been thinking about her and didn't want her to be lost in all our postings, but I couldn't remember her username. Well I have found the post, the lady is Tina, tlb2864. I think we should still be praying for her.



I so hope she is doing ok. She posted it on the 14th July.

I've been thinking about her a lot lately too...especially with all my medical issues, I feel so much worse for her. Glad you went back and found her....sending prayers, positive thoughts, pixie dust and love to Tina!!!

Deb, that's awful...not sure what you're going to do about it, haven't caught up yet, but-- I was talking to my mom about this (she's a nursing admin at a major hospital here in Houston) she says you should report him to the AMA immediatly, and to your insurance company. you absolutely do not deserve to be treated like that.

DH and I were wondering the other night what did we do before our DVR and pay for view? I hardly ever buy or get DVD movies anymore. Too much on all our channel. By the way, anyone watch Big Love? We are HUGE fans!!

We love Big Love. When the first episode premiered we were like what could this possibly do to keep the show going beyond a couple of weeks. Wow we are glued to our tv set every week to watch. Now we are afraid of how long until the next season. HBO's shows are great but the breaks between seasons are too long!

Another cable show we currently watch is Dexter. New season starts on Sept 30.

I had my ice cream and loaded the dishwasher. Also through in a load of laundry and folded the load that was in the dryer. So I definetly feel I deserved the ice cream. Of course while I was doing that DH snagged the computer.

Anyone with any big plans for tomorrow? I plan to grocery shop and work on our Christmas cards - I'd like to have them all made by the middle of October.

I never told you guys....Lisa sent me cards and a notepad with a card and it was all made personally from scratch....WOW Lisa, what a talent you have. I could never do what you did and it's so thoughtful and beautiful. I LOVE them!

Tonight was "booking night" for our Dec cruise. I am glad they changed to time to 12 EST and so it is 9 pm here. Had a glitch at first and we got an error message that we cannot book because we 1) are not paid in full (paid in full 2 months ago) or 2) not all birthdates were given. (both birthdates are showing on the ressie) I was NOT a happy camper. I sent an email to DU, expecting to have to wait until Monday to get it straightened out and take what ever slots were left. Kelsie at DU was right there and replied to my email within 2 minutes! Wow! That is great service. Saturday night at midnight! Holy moly! So it seems it was just that they were doing some switching of the site and it took a few minutes. We were able to make the ressies at about 9:15. DrHug got on and got Palo and excursions all set! He was real proud of himself and said how fun it was to actually participate! Guess who does all the planning around here. I think I may start letting him deal with more of that since he did such a bang up job of it!

My DBIL is having a tattoo done and it is only partly finished and the guy who started it is moving very soon and since he does not want it finished by someone else they are coming to our house tomorrow so he can get it done. The tattoo artist live near us, so it's mainly for convience sake. I have been temped to get one, but as yet I'm still to chicken.

When I was in Virginia Beach I got a henna tatoo of a turtle on my left forearm....it lasts about 3 weeks and doesn't hurt! That's the kind of tatoo that I like.
