Wow! I know what you mean. My DD actually took two session of ballet and tap and after I bought her a new pair of ballet and tap shoes she decides she didn't want to do that anymore:sad2: So I told her to finish out her session we don't quit but she doesn't have to do the next session. She only wore those shoes twice. I waited too long for cub scouts they were full when I tried to sign him up..maybe that's a good thing. He did t-ball last spring but he says he likes soccer better. Lots of kiddie activities over here and then they want playdates too. Not enough time in the day....looking forward to the cruise where we don't have to plan and drive to all of these activities its all there:thumbsup2

oh yeah I forgot about little league, since that's not until March it's off my radar today. Molly also joined band at school. This year it will just be a couple of night time performances but I see the Marching Band in our future  and then of course I forgot Norweigian Dancing (practice tomorrow)

Fortunately no fundraising at Wilson's school. We just don't have the economic status with 95% of the families being low income. Molly's school will have them I'm sure. But that's nothing. Molly and Wilson are top sellers for scouts. Cookies and Popcorn. Popcorn starts with in the next couple weeks. :rolleyes1

We need extra mommy energy don't we;) Have a good, hopefully relaxing, day:goodvibes

Now your thinking:banana: How much until your finished? maybe this cruise is your celebration cruise? Hey, if not you'll just have book another big cruise:thumbsup2
Oh no....I've got a long way to go. I'm hoping to be done in a year and a half. So probably the semester that ends in April '09 will be my last one. :goodvibes That would be 4 more semesters. But depending how the class schedules are each term, I might need 5 semesters because not everything is offered every semester.

I thought that once Wilson was in school I'd consider going back for a law degree...no time... too much going on right now and my DH lawyer would be none to happy having another shark in the family :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just watching my nephew Erik Sandie (Number 95) who is a DL for CSU Rams play my DH alma mater UCB on ESPN.

Where did Marilyn go? Marilyn you got your pirate: and then logged off:confused3 Hope you have a good day:)

Hello.:) I was around for a while, then John came home. We had dinner, and then popped to our son's for a couple of hours. Back now - well till bed time, then you all get chatty!!!

How long has everybody been married and yes I mean to the same person? I married my HS sweetheart and we've been married for 37 years.

21 years last May for us.

Oh, and we met at Disneyland, love at first sight, married the 9th time we ever laid eyes on each other.
And they say that you need to wait and get to know the person before you get married!

We first saw one another on 13 Dec 1985, first spoke on the 18th, DH proposed on the 23rd, and we got married on 17 May 1986.
My father (and probably many other people) said it wouldn't last. :rolleyes1

We will hit 22 years on THIS cruise . . . now THAT's a long time, but just over halfway to 40!

22 years for us during this cruise too.
My DH says you don't get that long for murder! ;)

welcome back:) That's nice your son lives nearby where you can just pop in for a while. We don't have family out here and we miss it sometimes but when I married my DH the adventure really began we moved around a lot for a while but we have been out here for 7 years that's good for us. I guess out here are friends are our family...like in FL most people that live here aren't from here so they don't have family here either.

The amount of stuff I'm taking next year we need new luggage as light as a feather but as strong as a tank for the baggage handlers to move!!:lmao:

According to my DH, who works at an airport, there is no luggage known to man that a baggage handler cannot damage.

I know what he means. We need to think of new luggage soon but we will hold on to the ones we have as long as possible. American Tourist luggage lasts a long time and I'll want to replace it with something that will last I just don't want to spend the $$$ on that I'd rather spend it on the actual vacation:banana:

We moved the 20 or so miles to here in 2001, and our son and family came in 2004. The schools are better here for their girls, and since then, first his wife Jayne, and later our son himself started working in the business. Now Andrew has just taken over the reins!! Our daughter still lives near where we used to live and works for John part time too now. Our other son lives 50 miles or so away. We don't get to see them quite as much - they are expecting a little girl in a couple of weeks!:)

When we were last in Arizona, Tucson actually, we were reading that the area was very popular to relocate to. I know I fancied it!!:rotfl:

:rotfl: I imagine that is very true!!

thank you:thumbsup2 I guess I'll have to call to see what they could put in the baskets...in their case pails for sand toys;)

We will have to have something that will fold up for packing. Anyway, not sure John would appreciate a sand pail somehow!!!:lmao:

I wish The Perfect Gift website had more pictures of examples and prices on it. Just top have some ideas of items to include and costs. I know they are all individual, but it is nice to have some idea when browsing.

That's great...I hope my kids are near us later on when they are grown...if not I'll relocate:rolleyes1 I have it figured out and if they live on opposite side of the country my DH and I will live half the year in one and half the year in the other:)

A lot of people retire out here and we also get a lot of people from CA and Chicago. We have lots of people moving here all the time.

I agree...sometimes I'm not as creative as I want to be:confused3 I'm hoping when I call they will give me some ideas...maybe I'll wait a little closer to the day but not too long

It is such a long way from one side of your country to the other. I know you can fly, but nontheless it is still a long way.

When we were there we went over into Mexice to Nogales. There were loads of older people going for their meds. Apparently they run coach trips over for that reason. So, another reason for the retirees to head there.

Not sure if my email is waiting till nearer the time or whether it has been overlooked. There is no hurry really. I know she doesn't like them to be ordered till a few weeks befoe the cruise.

We have so many people coming to AZ that our old neighbors were actually from England. Their son lived out here and they moved here to be closer to the grandchildren great couple:goodvibes For us it was either move to Germany(not the nice part), Singapore, or AZ. I was expecting so needless to say AZ sounded best to me:)
