They should give this with the Bon Voyage package instead of the cake. I would not have given this away.:rotfl2:

I would love that platter of goodies too.:rotfl:

If it is a concierge offering then we are there!! We know some of you!

Hard work emptying our silly little pool. I can't get any more of the water out, so the people I'm giving it to (coming shortly to pick up) will just have to help me get the rest out. Can't find my screwdriver to unscrew the hoses that go in and out from the filter. I guess we could leave it all attached and they can transport it like that. They're getting it for free, so they can't complain much! I wouldn't sell it because it needs a good cleaning. I neglected the chemicals and we didn't use it for a month, so leaves got under the cover, mosquitos breeded like crazy, and green stuff started growing a bit. That's why I need it GONE.....no time to take care of it!

Tyler thinks we're "selling" it, so I'm going to give him a few dollars. The only way I could convince him to let me get rid of it was to tell him he could have the money from "selling" it! :rotfl: I'd much rather GO to a pool or water park and not have it here where I have to take care of it. ;) Hate to sound lazy, but work and school and studying and yardwork take up enough of my time as it is. :upsidedow

I'm just a low maintenance kind of gal in all aspects of life! :goodvibes

Have any of you had the Bon Voyage things before? Just wondering whether to.

We ordered it, (the DCL Petit four thing) but to be honest I'd say save your money or order something different from Shirley. We didn't want the food since you could get so much stuff from the lunch buffet anyways. Also, they don't save well, I wish I had thought that the room steward would have wanted them. Iwant to have Shirley make us a basket, I'm just thinking of what could be in it????

That's the one I have in my stack - I hope it gets better.

Well we are off to the zoo. Then I have a dry-embossing card class at a local scrapbook store.

How fun...have a fun day:yay: I wish I was scrapbooking:sad1:

My kids have their first soccer practice today but I think we are skipping the 1st one. I'm not ready for all of their activities to start yet...its bad enough school started. Instead of their U6 and U8 practice my DH and I are opting for a date night...we haven't had one in a while (since our last cruise last Feb. actually). I think we will just go to the Desert Gator club and cheer on the Gators and eat dinner:cheer2: We both like watching college football maybe our next date will be a real date. All of your food posting is making me real hungry:)

I'm all about low maintenance...if that could only ripple to my mommy schedule:confused3 I'm still working on it.

But now when I mow, I have 2 less things to maneuver around! Makes it a bit easier. :goodvibes And 2 less things to take care of in the yard. (Pool and sandbox). :woohoo: Now if I can convince him to get rid of his plastic kiddy picnic table and just use our adult one, all we'd have left cluttering the back yard would be the big picnic table and his big wooden playset (which we'll keep forever because it's awesome). :thumbsup2

Maybe it depends on the school. In our school their is a lot of parent involvement which I like but it gets you busy. Even if their isn't a lot of parent involvement you have their music recitals around the holidays or whenever, mini graduations, fundraisers, spirit night, ect... Then you have all of the activities they offer like cub scouts, chess club, soccer, basketball, flagfootball, t-ball, keyboard, etc... Very hard to narrow down. Usually I only do one activity per child but this year I couldn't resist and my DD has one- soccer and DS has two -chess club and soccer. Its amazing how many activities most kids do:scared1: I can't handle driving around so much.

That's why I'm desperately trying to finish up my schooling as soon as possible. I don't want to miss his after school stuff because of my own classes. :sad2:

Your school is important too. At least you know its temporary and once you have it it can't be taken away. It will all be over before you know it. My DH started his MBA when my DS was 4 months old and finished another child later( I think my DD was one when he finished). Glad its over:cool1: You'll need a big party with lots when its over to celebrate:dance3:

Oh, I'm going to celebrate on a big DISNEY CRUISE!!!!

just signed up Molly for dance, tap, ballet and jazz and Wilson for soccer. Those along with cub and girl scouts is enough. Oh yeah and then there's that go-kart racing my son and DH go to (almost every other weekend)!!!! Oh yeah and Molly is into drama, so she will so about 2-3 plays a year. We tend to have just kid activities in our house. I'm wondering what and when we will have adult activities again....:upsidedow

Wow! I know what you mean. My DD actually took two session of ballet and tap and after I bought her a new pair of ballet and tap shoes she decides she didn't want to do that anymore:sad2: So I told her to finish out her session we don't quit but she doesn't have to do the next session. She only wore those shoes twice. I waited too long for cub scouts they were full when I tried to sign him up..maybe that's a good thing. He did t-ball last spring but he says he likes soccer better. Lots of kiddie activities over here and then they want playdates too. Not enough time in the day....looking forward to the cruise where we don't have to plan and drive to all of these activities its all there:thumbsup2

Anybody knows about how to order baskets from Shirley? I loved Jackie's basket and would love to order some for my kids;)

Well, hope everyone has a good day today.:goodvibes I need to inspect the kids room(I had them pick up their room while I was on the DIS). Their pretty good at it...my DD will be a great help when she gets older although she's already helpful. I'll still have to pick up some before the babysitter comes. Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday:)
