We just got a phone call that a dear friend had a heart attack this evening and did not survive. I hate the shock, but I am glad he did not suffer. We were in church together this morning and the sermon was always, every minute of every day, being ready to meet God. One second we are on this side and the next second we are on the other and we need to be ready. He was not old, he was just an awesome man!!

I'm so sorry. It is best that he did not suffer, but it is still such a shock when someone dies suddenly.

I watched (just the other night) a movie based upon a interesting perspective of a reporter who's boyfriend was murdered because they were uncovering details that Diana was MURDERED and that it was not an accident. I don't know - however, if it was true... but the video from the tunnel "disappeared" and lots of other evidence...

I heard that if she had that accident in the US she would have been transported immediately to an ER and surgery might have saved her but in France they do a lot of post-injury care in the ambulance and as such did not have the CAT scan that would have shown the severity of her injury.

Sad such a lovely lady.

When we came home from Disney Magic Cruise at Med. About four days later my husband got text from his another friend told him that his best friend died of massive heart attack. He was only 41 years old. They always text each together about football, holiday. My husband want to tell him about Med. Cruise and now he feel lost without him now. No more text that he want to tell him something and find it very hard. He was very low but now he is okay.

Oh Deborah, that is sad. 41 is so young to have a heart attack, and for it to kill him too.

Sorry for your husband too. Men find it harder to make friends they can really chat to like that, so he will be feeling the loss.

this was Samantha's Pet Rock that she received at check in, she named him Gavin.

Empty Epcot, we were the very first people in line. I thought our breakfast was at 8 but it was really at 9, we were there at about 7:30 I think.

Today is the usual end of the summer holdiay barbeque. We're doing it at Mom's house because my brother is staying there and he likes to cook, so we're letting him. Then he's going to work with the boys Tom and Kris DGSs and clear out the house. Not sure what he's got in mind, but whatever it is, it needs to be done.

Tomorrow I have another appointment with wound care management and my brother will drive me. Thursday is our appointment with the lawyer and my brother is putting together all the documentation.

Yea bro, glad he's home to take care of things...I'm still muddeling along with a cane for support and not much good for anything right now.

I've been doing well with the Nutrisystem meals and sticking to it...it's about 1,000 calories per day. If I don't lose weight with it, I don't know what I'll do. This has got to work for the sake of helping the edema. Today is only the fourth day so it's too soon to tell. In the meantime, I've caught a tummy bug and keep running to the bathroom and I'm feeling very lathargic, no energy at all. Good Grief! Will I ever feel healthy again? Today, it doesn't feel like it, but I know it will turn around, hopefully soon.
