Holly that tater sounds yum-o!
It sure was! And the best part is that for the first time ever, I managed to find the willpower to only eat 1/2, so I'll have 1/2 for later this evening! Yummy! No way could I have eaten the whole thing....I used to be able to with no trouble, but the 1/2 I ate just stuffed me. :goodvibes

I got to see John Edward when he was in Tampa a few years ago. I loved watching him but have always kept a open mind. The lady next to me got read. I got such goose bumps, it was amazing and to watch her reactions and know that this was real .
Very cool!

is that the cute ghost reader guy?
That would be him. I don't think he's cute though. His upper lip has a funky curl to it or something, so it doesn't come down over his top teeth, so it looks like he's always snarling or something.

Dang, that sounded mean! Didn't mean to sound that way.

HSM2 AGAIN! - But the baseball scene...love it! "I don't dance."

I think that was my favorite dance number.

My HSM2 review:
Dance = delightful
Music = mostly good
Plot/writing = tad lame (OK, if you consider this movie isn't REALLY for high school kids or adults...it was probably fun for the pre-teen set)

Off to lunch and the post office.....later Thieves!

I think it is a chain. We have 2 locally. Sounds like the same place because the potatoes are the reason I go! You really could get 2 meals from an order, but I love them SO much I have to eat the whole thing! People at work laugh at me because I used to be so amazed at the size of the potatoes and couldn't figure out how they got potatoes so huge! Took me quite a while to figure out it's 2 potatoes , but with all the toppings, you can't really see that it's 2 very well. :rotfl2:

That is defeintely the same place - I hope you enjoy it - I can't have them anymore as baked potatoes aren't in my diet anymore (diabetes- darn potatoes are sooooo good too but way too high in carbs).

I think I vote you most prepared and most researched!!

thanks!

Think that might be my last find! I knew nothing about DCL before coming accross a thread about the then upcoming PC cruise booking in January. I wasn't even considering a cruise, though I was looking around for ideas for my 60th birthday treat! I HAVE to do research though, for all my trips!

I wonder how Deb is? John must be spending all his time with her today which is nice. I hope things improve for her.

Also Laura, AuntyBrat. I'm not sure when her operation is.

A few weeks ago one of our cruise members came on and said she was going to have an operation on a brain tumour, and further treatment to a couple of others. I keep wondering about her, and sorry I can't remember who it is.

Well everybody, enjoy the rest of your day/evening! Off to clean my car out a tiny bit, then pick up Tyler in 15 minutes, grab a quick dinner (for him...I'm too stuffed still), and head to the festival where the fireworks will be. :goodvibes :yay:

I missed the brain tumor totally. Whoever it is - pixie dust and prayers.

McAllisters - Bacon spud with extra sour cream!

Well John has slept all evening - boring!!! It was me who was awake for hours in the night too.:confused3 Hope I don't get like that when I'm 60!

Anyway, I am tired, so signing off for now.

Have a good evening all of you.

Im going to try calling her in a few on the way to work and Ill let everyone know in the am, unless John posts sooner. Too bad I couldnt be her nurse, id give her lotsa TLC.Hopefully shes getting the antibiotics and wound care she needs to get better there.

BTW our name is from our true name and theres 3 of us, pretty boring LOL

I always have a book with me in my purse. I read at least one book per day if not more. When I am at Lake Almanor, sometimes I will read as many as 6 in a day.

OK, I love to read, and consider myself a speedy reader, but if I read 6 in one day it would have to be the "comic" variety - WOW!

Got Alex most of the way moved to his new digs for medical school today. Another HS football game tonight. Leaving soon.

Vanessa has landed in JFK. JFK is only a few hours up the road, but the flight they gave her had her lay over for 7 hours! She does not get to Dulles till 9pm tonight.

DC is hot. I think I heard the heat index is 110 degrees I have been inside all day getting ready for her to come.

Lisa
Yikes, 7 hrs is a long layover. You will all have an interesting week ahead of you, best wishes:goodvibes
ok break time....two more loads done and I cleaned out three of my dresser drawers and filled two garbage bags of clothes. It's kind of nice to get rid of stuff...I've always wanted a model bare home but we are all pack rats so that isn't going to happen.
I am a pack rat too. I've been off on medical leave, the 1st week was awful, I didn't know what to do with myself, the days were so long. Then I kinda got the hang of it and enjoyed reading and catching up with friends and going for wonderful long walks. I had almost forgotten how much I love walking. This past week the weather turned grey and rainy. I was actually glad as it gave me an excuse to stay in and start going through drawers and closets, since both kids have moved out it's time to start cleaning out this "nest" :scared: It has been rainy all week, but thank goodness it's supposed to be nice and sunny for the next few days, I'm at the point I can't stand to look at another closet!

I've been wondering about everyone too:grouphug:

Poor kid...as if 7 hours in JFK is not enough, the flight is at least an hour late taking off. I hope they don't cancel it....I guess she would sleep in the airport,
Lisa
