Jackie - I am not good on keeping up with the locale....it started at 8 here. EST.

is Tigger your fav? He's always been my favorite and my mom has always had a hard time buying stuff for me, one year she got me a dark green jacket with Tigger on the back, this must have been 12 years ago ==== it is soooo worn out!

....I stole my user name from Peggy! ... Actually, many years ago she had registered on another Disney fan site (LaughingPlace maybe) and came up with ibouncetoo. When I finally decided to stop lurking on the DIS I asked her if she planned on registering here, she gave me permission to go ahead and use it. Of course, the day finally came when she joined the DIS cult and we had to come up with another Tigger-centric user name for her.

I had my dark green Tigger sweatshirt with me in Breckenridge, but big sister would not allow me out of the hotel room with it on!

Thank you for the response. You lost me on the second sentence though. Can't you just burn a DVD off of iMovie?

Could you create the movie at iMovie, export it to iDVD, add chapters and then burn?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong here, but I think I am right . . .

Sure you can export a movie from iMovie, and burn it to a DVD - you pick the size and format, but that will not be playable in a commercial DVD player. It would be the "file" that constitutes the movie - kind of like a backup copy, in a particular format.

When you send the movie to iDVD, you are not just burning the movie to the disk as a file, but you are creating a readable DVD playable in your home DVD player. Of course, iDVD also allows you to add themes and chapters, etc.

Did that explain it?

I've been exposed to SEC sports all my life. I went to UF in the early/mid 90's, much when LSU was pretty here and there, and as a cheerleader as well as subsequent years a road tripper, I thought LSU was one of our most fun places to visit. But then I only visited LSU when they were sort of on the losing end, but of all the SEC teams I visited they were always the most gracious. Except UT.

I was at UF right after all the murders happened....and I can say we were treated terribly by UT after that happened. They threw cups, ice, etc at us...and OMG the killer had nothing to do wiht UF. But the things the students said were pretty horrible!


Personally I have always thought SEC against SEC has been pretty cordial. ....it's when FSU comes around we get pretty lippy!

Two years ago LSU was told by the Sanction Committee that 1 more report against them and they would go cold turkey with football. We were hoping that Georgia would report them last year, but they didn't. The fans throw glass bottles at you - hitting coaches and players. Two years ago they walked up behind us and smeared a dirty diaper on one of the player's parent. They have thrown pee at us. The language, even from kids about 8-10 years old, is such as I have never heard and would knocked my DGS flat if he even thought the words. The Lousiana State Patrol are the ones that sent messages to the schools telling them to tell their fans not to go on campus without being in a large group and to try and park at certain areas and busses with police escorts will take you to the game.

Trust me. LSU is overrated. Their new OC was the Oregon OC the last two years. If you say the Oregon/BYU bowl game, you could see what he did to our offense. His practice routines were hated by the players and everyone was happy to see him leave. Florida beats LSU! Don't know about South Carolina, but that seems hard to believe that they could be Florida.

I'll speak up about LSU. You guys all know I am a Hokie (VA Tech) fan. I went to one of scrimmages at Blackburg VA and we play LSU second game of the season. I understand LSU is leaving 32 of the best seats in the stadium empty and will put 1 white rose in each seat for each of the victims of this springs shooting. (I hope VA Tech wins!!)

Game Day for ESPN Sept 1st is in Blacksburg. I can't wait....

Peg just gave me a Marian Keyes to read, "Anydody Out There?" I've read one other of hers and really liked it. I'm 73 pages into this one and think it's going to be even better than the first one I read.

At the University of Akron, nobody ever showed up to the games, so there was no one there to throw pee or smear dirty diapers or throw glass bottles at anyone. Gee what I missed in my college years, just think!

Tomorrow night our High School plays our first game in our new stadium. Almost the entire project is being privately funded because we cannot pass a levy. We were the ONLY high school in the county without our own stadium for 10 years - we rented the stadium of the High School I went to for a decade - where the Football Hall of Fame game is played. It is a great stadium, but there's no place like home.

Our district also has convocation tomorrow, and I will be attending as a board member - so I am going in to the office way early because I have a lot of work - 6:30. Bed soon!

If you are ever down here during football season we'll take you to a game. There's nothing like the SEC! Oh, but you have to cheer for Auburn. That's one of my rules if I give tickets to anyone. One year when we played Michigan in a bowl game we ate 7 tickets since I don't sell to an opponent.
