First I have to say, this mornings English lesson was the best laugh I have had in months thanks again GRANMAZ I needed it

well DEB was admitted early this afternoon, she is so frightened and upset. I wish there was a way for me to help but I can't and it drives me nuts. She's in one of the top 10 hospitals in the north east, so I know that she will get the care she needs but I'm still worried. They say that she will be there for a few days (Sunday or Monday out). You here, her (our) DIS friends have been her anchor through this last few months and I can't say it enough THANK YOU.

p.s. she ordered a broadband card for her laptop on Tuesday so that if this came to pass, and she feels up to it she'll be DISing from her bed before long.

Hugs for both of you I know this is hard on both of you, but we're all looking forward to a few days from now when Deb will be posting how much BETTER she feels

I have bought a couple of items at Per Una for next year. I also picked up a great silk crinkle skirt from the Autograph collection there. I saw it early in the season and it was £45(!), but it was in the clearance for £12. Took it to the counter and it had gone to - £1!!

These are the kind of bargains I LOVE!!!

Now, a funny here.

When we first started out growing our business(Church Supplies) after John was medically retired from teaching, we began selling religious items froma company in Phoenix(hence our 2 trips!). Some of these were pencils, rulers and erasers, with religious sayings/texts. Yes, we have always called them rubbers.(Not now though!)

John decided to get some printed items, and sent a request for 2000 rubbers with JM Church Supplies printed on them. Only when the quote came back with the term changed to erasers did we remember!!

The firm must have had a little chuckle at John requesting 2000 rubbers with his name on them!

And yes, the cigarette one is getting more widely known here.

I really got a laugh out of all these stories. Too bad I missed out on the original gaffe--I've tried reading between the lines, but can't figure it out. Doesn't matter--it's still funny!

We are hanging in there, keeping our, ah, our chins up. I only have to come to work 100 more times.....IF our house sells. Let's see, if I talk with 12 angry people a day time 100, that is only 1200 more angry people to deal with.

When I was counting down to my retirement day, I counted "Only ___ more Mondays" until it got pretty close; then I counted by "Only ___ more alarms". Can you tell I'm NOT a morning person????

And the best kept secret for a snack/meal is WhiteWater Snacks by the pool at the Grand Californian. We found chocolate covered strawberries there that were smaller that the ones in the park, but priced VERY well.

Yes, that was one of the best finds of our trip! Wish I had one now! drool

This morning my mom fell just outside the doors at the check in desk.

Fortunately it wasn't a terrible fall, she has a bit of pain when she laughs and breathes deeply. We are going to see the doctor in the morning (she wasn't in today) and have to talk about a walker or cane to keep mom steady.

Tomorrow is her 80th bday. Saturday is the big suprise party, we have 55 rsvps so far. expecting another 5 or so.

Molly and I are on our own tonight, the boys went to the go-kart track. We're off to grab some dinner then a quite night at home.

iMovie is where you create your movie. iDVD is the authoring program to export that movie to a DVD so that you can play it on your DVD player. iDVD allows you to add chapters, and other options normally found on a commercial DVD. You ARE probably looking for iMovie, but when you want to share it, you may need iDVD.

Thank you for the response. You lost me on the second sentence though. Can't you just burn a DVD off of iMovie?

Could you create the movie at iMovie, export it to iDVD, add chapters and then burn?

I read on the main board that half of the pier in Costa Maya was taken out by the storm.

That is horrible! We visited Costa Maya in March and really liked the port area. It was so clean and beautiful. All the people were so friendly.
