Wallis, Principles and Next do a Petite range but they are quite expensive, so I end up only buying in the sale! Sometimes there are some odd things in the petite range at BHS, but they can be a bit old fashioned or office wear.

I am same as you, look out for sales as Next is my favourite but I cannot afford to buy for myself, I always wait for Sales!!

I hope Next sales on one week before the Cruise:thumbsup2

I work for M&S and often look for sales too. Some clothes are nice from BHS, I found tartan pineafore for my daughter and I bought it!! I know BHS is an old fashion clothes too lol.

I saw Mr. Brooks today and thought it was very good. I don't usually like Kevin Costner but he was very good in it and I always like Wm. Hurt. Looking forward to seeing Knocked Up tomorrow.

After sitting through Wyatt Earp in the theater I vowed to never see another Kevin Costner movie in the theater - william Hurt and Dane Cook were the big draw for us.

I thought Kevin Costner did a great job though too.

Enjoy Knocked Up!

Had a good exercise class this morning! Not much:jumping2: today but loads of abs!!! It was a lot of:rotfl2: My legs ache from the leg work yesterday and now my abs are going to ache big time!!!

Met a friend for coffee and a big piece of lemon drizzle cake.:) No wonder the weight isn't coming off!!!:rotfl:

Booking Fresh and Olivias for our last few days in December.:) Now wondering whether to book the Segway tour as a surprise for John. If I ask him he will say "no it is too expensive"! I just know he would love it. Surely after downsizing to POP we can manage that.

Talking to myself I know but hey ho!

Oh, Hello Lisa. You appeared whilst I was replying. Hope you're ok.

To all of my new California friends . . .

I just received some interest in my resume from a business in Westlake Village CA. The description seems to fit my qualifications extremely well – but CA is a long way from Ohio . . . Any thoughts on the area or the business “Guitar Center”?

Oh my goodness, John1!! Dennis LOVES guitar center here in Portland, well actually in Tigard I think. Now I do not like it so much, way to many guitars, drums, amps, etc and each and every one has to be tried out! :sad2: Hours, we spend HOURS there when we go.

Quite the humming place here in Scottsdale with their own brands and stuff, but the cost of living is quite different between CA and Ohio. Something you'll want to keep in mind.

Yep, research that and make 'em pay accordingly. Then remember that you will be in a higher Federal tax bracket also, so they would need to pay you even more! :thumbsup2

Westlake Village is in Southern California, part of the San Gabriel Valley. Figure on $750k min for a nice house. Guitar Center is big out here for musicians.

Trust me . . . those thoughts already in my mind. (I'm a lawyer - remember?) Amy was looking at the area online. A house of similar size to ours, on a lot half the size costs THREE times as much!:scared1:

Ah well, might be a good experience just to learn about it if nothing else.

And you will also have state income tax and the property taxes tend to be very high also. Again, cuts into your available income...just want you to know all the facts. $100k a year is barely middle income in California if you want to eat, live in doors and own a car that is not 10 years old...
