Time to order pizza from Spinatos and head home for LOST SEASON FINALE!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: It's already started on the east coast.

Wishing I had some of those tuxedo strawberries and Banfi like we had on Monday night for my dessert tonight!

What is Banfi?

I'm nearly 40 pages behind! Before I start catching up I just wanted to check in and say "hi everyone"!

The Pirates premier was lots of fun! Hopefully I'll post some pix before too long.

The DISmeet was great! It was so fun to put faces and voices with screen names. Thanks, Lisa, for making that happen!

I don't want to give too much away, but Peggy Jo was a big hit at the Billy Hill show at DL on Monday! I think Billy is IN LOVE!

I now have a favorite new nightcap--tuxedo strawberries and Banfi; and a new snack stop on the way to and from CA--Auntie Anne's for a pretzel dog!

FUN, FUN, FUN!

And...today is my birthday! Very low key day, doing laundry and getting organized. But next year...I'll be celebrating with all of you on the Magic!!!

:yay: :yay: :cool1: :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :yay:

Now, back to catching up!

Happy Birthday, NotSoLittleMermaid!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I can't wait to see your pictures of the Premiere. May I pirate a few? I promise to share pics from my adventure to the El Capitan in return.

Glad to have you back.

(I keep forgetting to mention - my best friend's name is spelled the same as yours, your the only other person I've met that spells it that way.)

Hello BIRTHDAY GIRL! :cheer2:

Glad to see you are home safe and sound and checking in. Aren't those pretzel dogs yummmmmy!?! Peg got one on our stop at the outlet mall...then after stopping over at Starbucks, we went back and each got one for later in the day (they were consumed by Blythe).

Peggy bought me a present at the Dooney & Bourke store!!!!!!

This is the one....my new summer bag:

Looks devine with DIS Lime Green! But for some reason I can't keep the ants off it!

Jan :earsgirl:

I saw it too, it is on the DCL site.

I dug a little deeper into the Cat.4 it is showing GTY only. More room for us!

This was posted by the REAL been2marcelin, not the wife!!

Was it here (this thread) where we were talking about the little late night snack tables that have set up in the atrium and outside the adult bars? If it was....here's a picture...

Well this Champagne Girl is very tired, but still a little over stimulated by the LOST finale! HOKEY SMOKES, BULLWINKLE! What a show!

OK....off to grab a big drink of water, pack up the leftover pizza and toddle off to dreamland....later kids!

Lisa (Calmom), I just wanted to share a story about children in first class on an airline. When Samantha was two, she and I were flying first class on United to Florida to catch the Big Red Boat. Her dad was meeting us there as he was already in Florida on business.

After we were seated and Sam was "plugged" in to her headset and her Sony video of Lady and the Tramp, a couple boarded the plane. Since they were seated next to us, the woman loudly exclaimed, "Good grief, I AM NOT flying first class with a toddler to Florida. We just got in from Hong Kong and I AM NOT going to listen to a whining brat for 6 hours!!"

I was appalled!! The flight attendant politely suggested to the couple that if they felt so strongly they might want to change to another flight. The women loudly suggested we should be removed because clearly we must be on a "pass". The flight attendant tactfully informed the women since we were full fare paying passengers and she and DH were on an upgrade only, we would not be asked to leave the plane.

After calling the flight attendant a very rude name and demanded to see the captain, her DH joined the fray asking that DD and I be removed. The captain came out of the cockpit, was told the situation and informed the couple Sam and I would not be asked to leave. After a few more choice words, the couple disembarked to the applause of the other passengers.

Samantha and I had wonderful service and the rest of the passengers were very nice to us on the remainder of the flight.

Unbelievable!!

Our DD has always been so well behaved, most passengers are surprised that she was sitting near them when she was little.

Your DD was obviously better behaved than the couple that raised the ruckus!!

Glad that everyone clapped too!!

We saw the multi-day tickets at costco the other day. They cost $129.00 and are for 4 days. They did have an expiration date sometime in November. good deal if you plan on going 4 times. Comes to about 32.00 per visit. The tickets do have to be used by the same person.
Hopefully they will have something similar next year at this time.

We did AP with our DVC discount for this trip and the extra 10 to 20 % off at most places in DL and surrounding area really helped to pay for it!

We will most likely go another 2 times this year, so it will definitely be worth it!
