I forgot to share...
Taylor lost her first tooth last night. It was actually a bit traumatic. It has been loose forever and I tried to get her to wiggle it a ton in WDW because there Tinkerbell is the TF and leaves Disney Dollars! So last night we were at friends house and she was eating a strawberry and began to cry. She said something about her tooth and then we saw the hole. She swallowed the tooth with the strawberry :sad2: and was hysterically crying. How could the TF come without a tooth? All of the older kids helped her write a note to leave under her pillow. Sure enough the TF came last night!

My baby is growing up...first she learns to swim and now she lost her first tooth. Where does the time go?!

Trust me Kaylee, it goes so quickly that you wonder where all the time went . . . one day you are changing diapers, and the next day attending college commencement. I think God decided we could not go without children for too long, so He gave us Sophia 13 years after Alex so we could relive all the wonders of children growing up. Maybe by the time she grows up we can be grandparents . . .

Kaylee, what a sweet story. That is so lovely that the older kids would help to comfort Taylor :goodvibes I know exactly what you mean about where does the time go too. Yesterday, my dear and precious daughter, Sara, was married. I can't believe where the years have gone. Even my younger brother(by 8 yrs) commented at the reception that it seemed like only yesterday he came home from grade 9 class(how sweet he still has a vivid memory of this) to be told he was an uncle to a beautiful baby girl. I'm still very emotional today. Yesterday was a beautiful day in our lives, and the beginning of a new journey for my daughter. Her husband is a wonderful , caring, loving man and I know they will have a wonderful and happy future together, but it is still a little sad letting go. Where, oh where, did all those years go.

Congratulations!

I'm so glad you had a great day. I remember it feeling very flat afterwards, after all the planning etc. Hopw lovely to have such a special son in law too.

I hope you manage to post some pictures. I seem to remember mention of shoes!!!!

Thanks John:) And ready or not LOL it will happen! I know it's silly, but I don't want to be a MIL, you know...one of "those" LOL. I'd much rather be a grandma :scared1: I may have to wait a little for that though, if my DD and SIL have a choice in it!

Yes, it was a GREAT day:goodvibes I haven't got a "flat" feeling yet, but hard to know what tomorrow will bring. My son is home until Tuesday, he moved out of province in Feb. so I am so happy to be spending a few days with him, but come Wed :confused3 The shoes were great;) at least until after about 8 hrs when I couldn't stand (quite literally) in them any longer my feet hurt so bad , changed into some new sandals and then went around in stocking feet for the last couple hrs LOL. I actually had a friend tell me she took a picture of just my feet and shoes, since the shoe hunting had become quite a story here!

Wish I could post a picture of the beautiful bride, but I'm a little "technically challenged" and haven't figured out yet (no time or energy) how to download my pictures let alone post them here:o My daughter is in a band (the singer)along with her new husband who plays guitar, and they performed a set with the rest of her band at the reception:rockband: It was quite a lot of fun to see her performing, still in her wedding gown. Hopefully I'll find time to figure out how to post before this cruise, I have almost a year, right

ETA --- I do have to say, we have very dear friends that the girls parents are very very well to do and their (last) name is pretty well known in town. (of course we are better friends with the male counterpart!!) but their reception was at the Sarasota Ritz...

Just announced this past week that we are opening a store in Sarasota Fall of 2010. Very interesting news for us. The region is growing like crazy with another (much smaller, and is a test store) opening soon in Naples. It may be time to move to Florida.

Loved everyone's pictures - so jealous of you guys!

V - how many of those Gator jerseys does John have anyway?

We are recovering today after the long graduation day yesterday. Everything went well - almost - the guy reading names mispronounced Alex's last name . . . But Alex is now a college graduate, Summa Cum Laude with a BS in biological science.

Here are my pics . . .

PJ....I will re-upload them to photobucket and post that link for the full size picture...will that work? If the link doesn't work, let me know and I will email you. I think your email address is on the other website, right? I need to email you a pic for that website anyway.

I think that would work perfectly! Thanks so much, you take an awesome fireworks shot.

John,
Congrats on your son's graduation! :yay:

Kathe, oh my...I can't imagine seeing one of my son's at the foot of the alter waiting for his bride. I''m starting to have a panic attack! But alas, it will come no doubt and I hope it will be as beautiful as your daughter's day was!

Thanks all for the photos! I love seeing them all. I really want to sneak in a DL trip before the cruise...Lisa
