Hi everyone,

I have not posted in awhile but am saying HI! I can't wait until the meet on the 20th. Do we have a current list of who is going? I got a new puppy and it has made life challenging. I forgot how much work they are. He is a Basset Hound and he is 5 months old. I rescued him from a friend who did not know what she was getting into.:rolleyes1 I will post a picture as soon as I take one. I know bad mommy.:rotfl:

I can totally relate to life with a puppy. Ours is now 10 months (a lab), and honestly, I wished I had listened to and believed those who told me that they're more work than a baby. At least you can take a baby into stores. For many months the dog ruled my schedule. I almost made her impersonate (or indognate) a guide dog puppy in training. (Never would have done that, but it sure was tempting.) I hope basset hounds mature faster than labs--we still have over a year before ours supposedly will calm down.

Lisa probably has the list of who's going on the 20th. It was posted many pages back. I'm going, without my DH, but with my son (9) and daughter (5).

Does anyone know what the dates are for MVMHP? I see that a lot of you are doing the MVMCP and already have your tickets...where did you go to get them. Are they online at the WDW site? I won't be there for Christmas, but I will be there for Holloween this year and have never been to the party, but I hear a lot about how great it is...just wondering...:wizard: :goodvibes :wizard:

We love MNSSHP! The decorations, the parade, the fireworks - we love it all. And trick-or-treating is fun too!! I think we have gone 5 times. Twice on one trip!

We have been to MVMCP also and prefer MNSSHP.

Our Labradoodle, Lexi, is finally starting to calm down a bit. She is 18 months old now. A friend told me we have about six more months. She is a great dog though.

We are the opposite . . . MNSSHP was REALLY crowded when we were there, and not as much fun. We had a great time at MVMCP.

OK - I give up - No more sports talk . . .

We now return you to our normal programming of shoes, champagne, and ice-filled boxers.

I can't keep my parents from stop talking about the Warriors. They have been going to the games since I was little. They have had season tickets for ever. They would drag all six of us to the games...I have lots of fond memories, mostly of eating all the junk food. Lisa

I would suspect that they do not have "eyes" in the sky in the locker room for if they did can you imagine the lawsuits? I am thinking about writing a letter to the casino. Any suggestions to whom I should address the letter and what I should ask for as recompense?

I would also mention about knowing other customers and staff have heard this happen...it would be great to have another name to state another person who experierced a loss. Maybe also mention that you would like to see a company do the right thing and you will be sure to spread the news if they do...as well as spread the news (7 on your side) if they don't.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have the permission of several staff members and customers to mention their names when I write a letter. Since I am a regular customer, I am fairly well know to staff and regulars so I am hoping the letter will do the trick.

:scared1: Shhh................That dreaded "d" word is a 4-letter word in my book! :rotfl:

I think I posted once on the diet thread on the Ship of Thieves website....I just CAN'T get motivated. Maybe the one year mark will do it! Then again, pasta is sure sounding nice right now!:lmao:

For me, it's five months till our cruise in October then when we get home from that in November, it'll be six months till this cruise....so it doesn't feel like a whole year. Way better!
:cloud9:  :cloud9:

So jealous!

Congradulations on the addition to your family.

:goodvibes Also looking forward to our meet.

Well done. You must be noticing the difference already. I think I have about 28 lbs to lose, but a little more would help with the problem of eating on the cruise!!

This is exactly what I what to do - lose extra so I can have CHAMPANGE every day and Palo's every sea day!!! Lisa

What are all you Mother's doing for your special day??

I wanted to go to the Ritz for a beautiful brunch....but alas our new budget send me to my parents country club that is not quite gourmet. I'm saving it for Palo's! I love this time of year...Mother's day on Sunday and then my birthday on the 16. For my next birthday (which will be my 40th) we will all be crossing the Panama Canal!!!!!:cool1:

Well, my Indians are playing in Anaheim tonight - wish I was there . . .

(more sports talk Holly)

How's that homework going? What classes are you in now?

On a bit of a lark last night I sent my resume for a staff attorney position a local hospital has open. I am thinking more and more I am ready for a career change after 30 years in retail . . .

Getting close to bedtime.

Noel,

I am thinking (hoping) that they do not employ those "eyes" in the sky in a spa locker room. If they do, do you think they would admit it?

I do, however, agree with you and everyone else on the situation. Someone is definitely asleep at the switch of customer service. Have you considered writing a letter to them? I know it works here - especially for good customers!

Captain Spanx,

That happened to me in a bathhouse in San Francisco. I lost a good pair of Spanx.

Elasto Boy

I can't believe it....although it really is still a long way away!

DIET-did ya have to bring up that reminder?! Well, I guess now is the best time to start, gives me time to get going!

Hi Lisa,

It'll go by very quickly...I hope. I saw a familiar name from the GEEKS, so thought I would asy Hi!
