We used to joke a lot about the "snip-snip" - "V" word, and I pretty much said it would be a cold day you know where before I go under THAT knife . . . well, this little piece of equipment has me fully convinced . . .

So here I am at home again and finally calm enough to tell you all what happened. As you may remember, I went for a Fiji wrap on Sunday night. After the wonderful experience, I returned to my locker in the spa to discover over $700 in cash and change missing from my wallet. The casino security staff denied there were any problems with theft in the spa.

That's awful. It would make me not want to frequent that casino!!! Sorry that happened to you.

How horrible! I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. Just awful.

Thanks for the sympathy. I am just going to be philosophical and make a decision about if I ever go back to this particular spa when I calm down. I don't think it is a good thing to make a decision in the heat of anger.

Thanks, Lisa. What is hard for me is that I have been going there for treatments in the spa for 15 years. This is the first bad thing that has ever happened to me there but I worry it is indicative of things to come.

That's hysterical! Come on now John, it's not that bad (tee hee). DH's rationalization was, since I had the babies, it was the least he could do...in his estimation, squeezing out those almost 9 pound baby boys was enough to make his decision easy. He said the "V" felt less painful than how my deliveries appeared to be. (We almost "lost" him a few times during my first delivery.) Now with this handy gadget you'll be all set!

Karin-Kaylee (fourmcds) has a list of people that filled up two hummerzines through happy limo, I belive. They only had 2 of those and each one took 20 people (plus a luggage van for each hummer). But I'm pretty sure she also had people beyond that like 20 more that needed a shuttle or a bus of some kind. Calmom (Lisa) had found a bus that she had posted but I haven't heard any other details on that one. Kaylee posted the names of the people who would be in the hummer (it was first come first served) and also the names of those who still need a "ride". When she's back from WDW I bet she can re-post that info.

I gave Kaylee the info on the other "limo bus." We can't get the really large one for this type of commute but we can get the limo bus: http://www.a1limobus.com/jumbo.htm
I told Kaylee I'd rather not arrange it as we are still a bit up in the air as to whether we will fly in, where we will stay, etc. Looks like a fun limo bus! Lisa

FYI - I haven't forgotten about our fish extender teams - I am going to wait until end of July to start to push and make sure we have teams for each day. I figure by then we will have more people onboard as well so it will be easier to organize. We have quite a lot covered though. Lisa

Much to my consternation, I discovered in conversation with the spa staff and regular customers that it seems that the keys work in more than one locker and that fact is know by regular spa members and employees. Obviously, this theft was committed by someone who knew this and used another key. Another woman lost about the same amount last week in the same locker room probably by the same method.

I made a police report but of course, I am now out the $700. Since this took place at a casino I go frequently, I know many of the staff and the regulars. I expected at least some sort of apology about what had happened but nothing was forthcoming. Needless to say, I am not sure if I am every returning to this spa.

Now back to my regularly scheduled life....

I just CAN'T believe they won't reimburse you!! That is just crazy. I would be so mad. I know all the warnings they post about not being responsible but the ASSUMPTION is that you are using a unique key. That is a very reasonable assumption. I think the casino should reimburse you b/c of that fact. Crazy - so sorry to hear that. My purse got stolen from the gym and they gave me a gift certificate to get a new one. It is good will! Boy, will they lose out by not having your business. Lisa

Hi Everyone, I have just received a quote for this sailing. I have never cruised before and I really want to go with DCL. As you can see I am reserved for this Oct but I am thinking of changing my ressi. I am from Western Canada ( Alberta ) and my DH does not want to cruise so I will be going solo. Do you think this will be too long of a cruise for a first timer?
TIA for any advice. I did see on the first page that there are other solo cruisers.
