Friday the 13th got me today.

Daniel and I were on our way to Blacksburg, VA and my car just stopped on the HIghway We were about 1 hour outside DC.

I really do have some wonderful friends. My husband drove out to where we were stranded and brought us another car. My best friend drove out to where I was broken down to pick up DH. We left the broken car there and will deal with it on Monday when I get back.

So now were are safe and sound in Balcksburg and ready for the program tomorrow. I am always amazed how beautiful this campus is.

Hmmmm......well, you never know! Couldn't hurt to e-mail each other and see if we have any common interests. If nothing else, the world is always a better place with more friends!

Two more years of school is very doable....you're on the downside of the hill....and it'll be so worth it!

Update on the house...

Thank you to all for the pixie dust....the house was not sold today at auction
We still need to wait and hear what the bank is going to do, but for right now we are set. We will head to auction on June 29th and hopefully the house will be ours ! We went there today and walked around, boy has it fallen apart in the last 6 months. It needs lots of TLC now, but we are ready, willing and able!!!! I'll keep you all informed.

I actually think that I may have built up a tollerance to the antibiotic that I usually take. This is just not going away and the bad headache that I had last week was back again last night and today!!

If this doesn't go away by Monday, I will contact my doc and try to get the Ceftin that you mentioned!

I also love shopping online!! Way too easy...

I actually think that I may have built up a tollerance to the antibiotic that I usually take. This is just not going away and the bad headache that I had last week was back again last night and today!!

If this doesn't go away by Monday, I will contact my doc and try to get the Ceftin that you mentioned!

Don't forget the norflex for the headaches...it works great even for migraines and it's non-narcotic...no addictions.

it's tough to function when sinus/headaches get in the way...you need drugs right away!

We saw Meet the Robinson's today and it was so cute. I really loved the quote at the end from Walt Disney...that was a nice touch!!! My kids really enjoyed it (and the popcorn too )

I called to add on 2 nights to our August trip and nothing is available!! no point in going back to work on a Friday!! I will keep trying!

It was 90 here on the way home....hopefully we can enjoy the pool tomorrow...DH and I enjoyed the hot tub last night.

Spending too much on Ebay, I need to start selling off some of the girls clothes to make some $$!!

I just realized that I did that on our vacation...we come home on Friday. I asked my DH tonight why we did that and he told me it was my idea I think I was asleep when I made the reservations, why on earth would I leave on a Friday to spend 2 days off at home?!

Talk about a crappy soccer schedule. I have an 8:00 game tomorrow which means we will have to be at the field by 7:15 to set up goals. I still don't know who I made mad to get this schedule. It seems like we have either 2:15 or 8:00 games. I will take a picture of my team tommorrow and show you guys. They are a great team but I am ready to be done.

Good luck tomorrow. At least you will have the rest of the day to do something else. Our soccer schedule used to drive me crazy...on DD game at 8 am and the other at 2 pm. Whole day wasted!

I did first class on our trip to the UK on Virgin in 2000. I sat at the piano bar, had a massage and a manicure on the plane. I still have my Virgin Atlantic jammies that I wore for "sleeping"

That sounds heavenly. I need a flight like that! Did it make it hard to fly "regular" airlines again?!

Thanks. I feel better this time because we're managing her aftercare instead of her usual aloofness about it. she's letting me make her appointments and take her to them. That's a lot for her. I'm confident that she will be strictly watched and tended to, so hopefully...no more hospital stays for a while.

Love all three also. They just opened a Coldwater Creek store near my house...so excited!!

Karen-what do you know of Waugh Cellars in Napa? I just watched "Take Home Chef" with Curtis Stone (he's the one that finds you in the grocery store shopping and then offers to cook and show you how to cook a meal at home for you and loved ones)....the couple that were on were the owners of Waugh Cellars. They took him to the winery....it looked like a great winery (small) and Curtis seemed to really enjoy their wines. Just thought I'd get your input if you happen to have one!

Tomorrow is tax day for me and then I get to do some craft project with/for Peggy for her big event at work next week. I feel the need to squeeze in a movie this weekend too....I'm falling behind on that...well, not as much as I'm falling behing on HOUSEWORK!
