Good evening!
Marks watching football (soccer) on TV so I'm on Becky's laptop to keep him company :)
We've had a lovely day again. It was really warm and sunny again and we went out for a drive and wandered around some antique shops in Marlborough, then had afternoon tea in Polly's tea rooms.

Thought you might like to see where we've been! We wished we'd taken Mark's camera so we could show you some of the lovely places by the rivers and canals we saw!:goodvibes

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!:cool1:

Oh my goodness! I am so jealous!

As you know, I am traveling with my HOKIE son on our cruise. We got his graduation pictures. His HS graduation is 6-18-2007.

Well, there is a lucky girl out there somewhere! What a nice looking young man!

Still at work here - Blech!

Nice to know it is really always 5:00 somewhere . . .

I'm with V - can this day end NOW!

Here too, PLEASE!! 355 days to retirement...not that I'm counting, but days like today really make me want to retire today!

I was getting your help on insurance for our Med cruise this summer. What I found out is that we can go to www.insuremygroup.com as we have 10 in our group. Here is the coverage...does anyone have any opinions?

The one thing I am worried about is missing the ship. So many of the insurance companies do not fully cover Trip interruption. These group rates seem to pretty well cover this:

TRIP DELAY/MISSED CONNECTION

You are covered up to the Maximum Benefit Amount for:

Additional Transportation Cost to join the Covered Trip or return home, including up to $200 per day for reasonable accommodations and meals, if Your delay requires an unplanned overnight stay; and/or
unused non-refundable portion of the prepaid expenses as long as the expenses are supported by proof of purchase and are not reimbursable by any other source.

Delay must be five (5) hours or more and certified due to the following reasons:

delay of Common Carrier (which is certified by the Common Carrier);
a traffic accident while enroute to the point of departure (substantiated by a police report);
documented weather condition preventing You from getting to the point of departure;
Organized Labor Strike, natural disaster, Terrorist Incident, riot or You or Your Traveling Companion being hijacked or quarantined;
lost or stolen passports, travel documents or money (substantiated by a police report).

We have internet again!!! WAHOO :dance3:

I am going to try to catch up soon but don't know if I will be able to as I am planning our May Disney trip and have Finals coming up but I will be checking in ocasionally.

I hope everyone had a great Easter

Isn't it great to be 'connected' again ::yes:: Hope we get to see more of you!

I'm OK everybody. :thumbsup2 Yesterday I slept 2 hours before leaving for the family egg hunt, stayed 2 hours, then came home to rest. Got Tyler to bed early and I crashed too. But today I'm definitely on the mend. The cough is almost gone and it's all head congestion at this point. People at work told me I still look pale, but I'm not feverish anymore and I was able to function somewhat. Not as sleepy as I have been, but will head to bed when Tyler goes to bed at 7:30 so as not to push my luck. Thanks for looking out for me! :grouphug:

Holly, as you are starting to feel better, PLEASE take it slow and still get plenty of sleep. And when the first morning comes that you feel great....take that day easy too! ;)

So I was over on my 'home' thread, bragging about finding Rose Regale for $15 a bottle and this is what my friend Wally posted:

Isn't she cute?

Amy bought a bottle of Rose Regale for dinner yesterday - $17.99. That is the sparkling wine she tried in Italy at Epcot, before the "Champagne" photo I posted.

Well - just asking! I thought there could be a slim possibility . . .

:lmao:

I realize that may have seemed the tinest bit too blunt.. sorry! Having that same Monday as everyone else. (but it was kind of funny in my wierd world)

Thanks! :hug: I definitely will! :goodvibes Since I hadn't been sick in well over a year, I truly do NOT want to feel like that again any time soon. Blech! Off to bed right now......stayed up way too late because I finally felt able to, against my better judgment, but too many things from this past week were calling my name (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc). But now sleep is calling me the loudest. ;) Goodnight all! I sure miss chatting with everybody! Hopefully I'll be back up to speed this weekend and back to my usual posting frenzy addiction! :laughing:

I hope you will be fully recovered soon.

I hope everyone had a nice Easter. We did. The beach was overcast the whole time but it was still great.

Hey if you have not checked out the lifeboat drill on the main cruise page, it is really funny!

Congrats and welcome back to the "real world" :surfweb: :lmao:

John, on this cruise, that would be a miracle.

I think it will be cool that there are so few kids...means ours will get to do even more and have more character interaction. And, the fact that most will have been chatting for a while on line should make for some great friends!
We were at OKW during Wilma (05) and the day they closed the parks they sent characters out to each resort. With as spread out as OKW is, no one else headed to the office (and i wouldn't have either if it weren't for my friend forcing us...it was their first day there). It was one of our greatest times....Chip and Dale played Twister with the kids. They danced with my daughters and carried my youngest around and cuddled her on the couch! Mickey was grumpy but C & D were awesome. I hope that things like that might happen on this cruise if the kid numbers are really low.

When are you in DL in May?

Thought I would share a few pictures of that day at OKW...kind of quiet around here and I didn't want to start quoting myself, but, since Holly is sick, someone has to take over:lmao: :lmao:

Boma question.....

I have only done the dinner. Is the breakfast good? I booked us for Mother's Day but am not sure if I will like it as much as dinner. Anyone tried it or heard anything about it?

Thanks
