Thanks Jackie. We have had fun with them in the parks as well. It was just such a memorable experience that one day, the girls still talk about it and apparently I cannot play Twister as good as Chip can per my youngest!

So I was over on my 'home' thread, bragging about finding Rose Regale for $15 a bottle and this is what my friend Wally posted:

Is this a full size bottle? 750ml?

Does it look like this?

Is it the current vintage of 2005 or 2006? This is not a sparkling wine that can be kept around for very long... does not do well aged.

Just curious as this is very little for this bottle of Sparkling Wine.

Thanks! I definitely will! Since I hadn't been sick in well over a year, I truly do NOT want to feel like that again any time soon. Blech! Off to bed right now......stayed up way too late because I finally felt able to, against my better judgment, but too many things from this past week were calling my name (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc). But now sleep is calling me the loudest. Goodnight all! I sure miss chatting with everybody! Hopefully I'll be back up to speed this weekend and back to my usual posting frenzy addiction!

We had friends come up to the Bodega house for a "Monday Supper"; DD and DH made sauted shrimp, garlic crab legs, fresh oysters and I added some artisinal cheeses for appetizers (wine of course).

Then DD and DH made clam chowder (fresh clams in there as well), grilled artichokes, and sourdough bread for the "main" course! Simple Ice Cream for dessert!

Really good, but of course, the kitchen is anialated again!! I have my second dishwasher load going and I have everything prepped for the third load. Finished all of the hand washables as well.

Our friends twin girls are staying with us and DD is holding court upstairs in the loft room!!

Calgon, take me away...

Holly, I'm glad you're feeling better finally. I too thought maybe it was something more serious, but it sounds like it's going away.

I'm fasting tonight...gotta go for blood tests in the morning, mom is going for one too. So I'll be up and out very early because I need my coffee in the morning and won't be able to have any until after the test.

Just up for a quick dog walk and bathroom stop right now, going back to bed. Hope everyone has a better Tuesday. It sounded like everyone had a blue Monday. Tomorrow will be a better day because we will be one more day closer to our cruise and meeting everyone in person with our DOD's and Champagne and Beer and Rum!!!

I wanted to post these pictures again. These are some of the cutest pictures I have ever seen. What great memories this must have been. Disney can turn a bad situation into Magic it seems any time.

That's the one we had. I usually do not like sweeter wines, but that one was tasty!

Yep, this is it. 2005 and it was $15.99 (normally priced $21.99). So I should drink this NOW right? (They had quite a few sales Easter Sunday on assorted alcholic beverages.)



I have a bottle of Martini & Rosi Asti that's been in the refrigerator for oh, about seven years!!!! Should I just be throwing that out???
