Jackie, DH and I just got back from POC. WOW! Long. My DH fell asleep - (please don't stone me...)

I think he just worked really long hours this week, that's my story anyway.

It did feel long to me too... Boy that Kiera has such gorgeous skin... and smile.

We are really excited to cruise the Panama Canal, something my DH who is in construction has always wanted to see. My parents will be joining us along with our kidlets, DD 3 (at cruise time) and DS (18 mos. at cruise time).

Welcome! I'm glad you decided to post! When I first started several years ago, I lurked too, and then finally couldn't help myself--I had to join in on the cruise meet board!

We're on this cruise because my dad, a geologist, has always been facinated by the PC. I told him that the next time Disney cruised it, we'd be there--well I wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly!

We loved it. There was a cast of pirate look a like entertaining us before the movie.

Last night was Giants game with my Xmas 2005 DCL DIS friend....we lost

AWESOME picture! We ended up not seeing the movie tonight because I remembered at the last minute that we needed to shop for a birthday gift for a party we're going to tomorrow (one of Tyler's day care friends). That was a major undertaking. Tyler takes after his dad when it comes to shopping......he LOVES shopping, but it's one of my most dreaded things to do. I don't know the birthday boy very well, so I asked Tyler to think about what Andrew likes and what would be a good gift for him. He told me he likes scary things and dinosaurs and robots. Went through the whole store saying, "Nope, he wouldn't like that" to everything I showed him. Next store was Toys R Us because I figured he'd definitely be able to find something in a store that big. Finally, after we almost made it through the whole store, he found a remote control robot dinosaur skeleton for him. After assuring me that it's the perfect gift, we completed our purchase, got to the car, and I realized Tyler had left his window open....in the RAIN. At least it's only water. That chore is done and now I can enjoy going to a party where I can relax and watch the kids having fun!

Well, I had a mess of stuff quoted that I was going to comment on and my internet crashed!

All I remember is my pirate name is DIRTY GRACE FLINT. Don't know why I got the "dirty" part of the moniker...I said I bathed daily! I must be on Capt. Anne's crew!

We must keep checking the beach cam! Perhaps we should have asked Lisa to wave at a certain time from under the clock and then we could have seen them!

The beach was wonderful....thunderstorms rolled in about 3:30pm....but we were all ready to go back to the house anyway. I was thinking you can always see our time....you can really see the clock in the cam.

Well, I booked our room at the Hyatt for the night before the cruise! We will probably hit Orlando around 4PM ish, so will have a nice evening there. Now, WHERE are we meeting for COCKTAILS?

Now if I only knew where we are staying in December? We'll decide mid June if we should blow off the pending time share exchange and just rent DVC. I may be inverviewing 'renters' soon .

Did I scare everybody off? I haven't taken a shower yet today, so that could be the problem!

Just bored here. Last night I did dishes, laundry, cleaned a bit, did some homework, so today I can't think of anything to do. Can't mow or do any yardwork because it's raining. I guess I could sleep more or do more homework.

Nope, my first check in of the day, and the day is almost over. Had to: Bathe the dog, go to Lowes for stuff I needed, go to Best Buy and get Alex the digital camera he wanted for his birthday, take Sophia for a haircut, get lunch, get my hair cut, replace the garbage disposal (second one that has died in 10 years here), set live traps for the mouse I saw in the garage (because of Mickey with Sophia knowing I have to do live capture), do the bills, go to a graduation party after Amy got home from work, play with the dog, and get caught up on a week's worth of laundry. I am BUSHED.

Unfortunately, tomorrow, I have to go in in the morning for a meeting to the office. We are then planning to go to Towncrier's (from these DISboards - lives about 35 minutes from here) home for a picnic, and then on to some friend's here for a picnic later.

Busy days, and a busy weekend!
