Today I have to take mom for a bone marrow test at 9am then to DD's house at 6pm to do stuffed shells for dinner and cake and presents. Today is her actual birthday, even though we went out to dinner this weekend to celebrate.

Karen, sweet dreams...everything magical....:wizard:

Marilyn, have a great day...are you going to do your hoops today?:surfweb:

Deb,

Hope all goes well with your mom. I actually miss all of the times I spent taking my mom to her Docs... Funny the things that you miss!

Hope your DD has a great B-day celebration! I love pasta stuffed shells! (Pasta anything, really...):rolleyes1

Most of my evening/early am posts are done on our laptop! I just love the multi-tasking ability with it!! :rotfl2: (TV/Post/TV/Post/TV/Post...)

Have a lovely day everyone, and look forward to hearing all about your day later on :hippie:

By the way, on the cruise front......we got as far as looking at trying to change our flights so we could do the TransAtlantic on May 12th but no go, so guess it'll have to be a dream after all......:sad2:

Mandy,

Have a lovely day with your family!!:hippie:

Karen

Hi Angel, sounds like a fun day for you with your sister and kids. Enjoy!!!:goodvibes

Don't you feel like giving up on the touch pad and just installing a mouse...sometimes I think it's not worth learning, especially when it does strange things that I'm not used to like highlighting things I didn't want to highlight. Has that happened to you yet? Mine does stuff like that.:confused3 But then I think, I can't let it beat me and I have to read the manual so I know what I'm doing....techno challenged.:rotfl: Definitely NOT a Geek!

Deb,

I agree about the touchpad, but I have gotten used to it (mostly).:rolleyes1

Of course, the other night I was logged into my work computer and I was highlighting test with Ctrl/Shift/arrow key and hit the Alt key instead of shift and ended up landscaping my screen sideways!!!

Good luck! Don't let it defeat you!!

Karen

Been a little busy. Going to finally finish up our Princess cruise trip. Our favorite port was Belize. Funny thing is, we never even stepped foot on shore of Belize City. This port we had to tender. Our only other time to tender was in Cabo San Lucas in 2005. In Cabo, the tender was a short little ride to shore. If you did the Mexican Riveria cruise last time, the tender in Belize was at least ten times further. You could barely make out the shoreline from the ship. We instead, had booked a snorkeling excursion. Belize has the second largest barrier reef next to Australia in the world. Our excursion took us to Goff's Caye, which was a TINY little island about twenty minutes by boat from where we were anchored. We literally swam around the island while snorkeling! The water was absolutely amazing! The reef and marine life were incredible, though Shawn swam up on a school of 6' long Baracuda. Not as big as the one's we saw off of Key West, but still a little intimidating! Lastly, the beach was perfect and only had about 40 of us on it. It was a perfect day. Forgot to add, the grilled fresh Lobster on the island while we were onshore. It was $8 for two pretty good sized tails. We had four orders! It was the best meal we had all trip. Anyway, may need a couple of posts here - a handful of pictures:

Jen also has a teenager...but she was hanging out in her teenager land that day....I'm assured she'll join us on our next mini-Dis meet.

EEWW bed bugs, I am so :scared1: about finding them on our upcoming trip to WDW!

Do you know in what part of the folding beds in the All Star Family Suites should I look for them? :scared1:

Nope, sorry! I worry about it everywhere I go, but have never seen any yet. Knocking on wood right now!

And I hope Tyler is well too now.

Yup! A little stuffy still, but not feeling sick at all anymore.

Eeeek, a dead mouse, that would have scared me out of myself :scared1: I hope you have a lock by now.

Yup! :thumbsup2

Holly....whatever happened with that? Did you get any info or just a lock on the fence?
Just a lock. Didn't want to call the police while Tyler was around, and my plan to make the call after work before picking him up from daycare fell through because he didn't go 2 days. After that, I decided it was just too long after the incident to bother. After all, I had nothing to tell the police, no evidence, nothing broken into, nothing stolen, no idea when this happened, etc. So there's a lock now, and a motion light, and I'm extra watchful. Haven't seen anything suspicious since then. I suspect it was neighborhood kids playing around one of the times I was gone overnight.

Great pictures of Belize. I just love how the water looks so warm and clear. Your braids all look great too. I personally wish I could braid my girls' hair like that all the time since the week or so they had it in after the cruise was the most stressfree get ready for school/hair days I have ever had in my life!

Looks like you had fun at your minimeet too Nan! Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear you are safer now! Love the motion sensor lights, except when my cat triggers it and scares the heck out of me in the middle of the night when DH is travelling:scared1: :lmao:

OT but can't you make request for internet/cable service online for comcast in your area?

:surfweb:

We tried and it told us they had nothing availabe and I was on hold for 45mins before I had to go to class. So I went to the library and e-mailed them and when I got home there they were! DH had been dealing with it before and only gives it to me to deal with when he gets tired of it! It wasn't a nice e-mail but they came. Only problem is I had to pick someone up and they only hooked up 1 cable outlet. DH is out of town so he will hook the internet up on TH when he gets back until then I use my moms computer when I can.

Popped in to say goodnight. Have a good evening chatting, I will catch up in the morning here.

Kaylee, are you hooping yet?:dance3:

Morning Marilyn!

Nope, no hooping yet. But I did talk with the gym owner and I am tentatively taking the teacher certification class in the beginning of November in Oregon (the soonest I could get to). I hope to buy the DVD and a hoop to start playing around with it when I get back from WDW.

anyone doing any easter bunny good gift ideas?

We went to Borders last night and I passed to Paul (to buy without the kids looking) a balloon animal kit for Wilson....last time we saw a balloon guy he told us he started making them at 6 years old...needlesstosay...Wilson now wants to learn to make 'em too. Got Bunicula trillagy for Molly.

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you went to the $300 store yesterday. Laughed inside all the way thru it ($300 store) at the check out bill bill $343 Paul says "WHAT DID WE BUY?" he always says that. Had to tell him that this was the $300 store. He was not amused. I got 4 paperbacks (birthday gift to me) I'll let ya know if any of them are good ones.

Gotta go to work now,

N

I got these eggs that crack and out comes a dinosaur or chicken that you can "grow" they are so cute!!!! The shuffles were $39 recently on the apple site too.
