Tyler took this pic of me....sort of blurry. He was nice enough to let me have a turn wearing his Capt. Hook hat and hook. But ever since Grandma gave him a cool sword for Christmas, I'm always stuck playing with his old Captain Feathersword sword. No fair! (Ignore vaccuum hose on the right side of pic. Was in the process of cleaning today.)

I hope somebody is taking notes on all that is being discussed on this thread, since there is no way that I can read it all. It's all I can do to keep up with the May 12th thread. When I return in June then I will be able to spend more time here, so keep good notes for those of us that will be joining later!

No eliminations on Amazing Race. Good thing, too, because Uchenna and Joyce came in last and I like them. Got to get the kids to bed. I let them stay up to watch Amazing Race but it was delayed about 45 minutes because of sports this afternoon. Gotta go.

We play pirates about every other day. He got hooked after our first cruise when he was 3. That's his 3rd pirate outfit in less than 2 years!

That's really sweet of you to say! I try. Just trying to create fun memories for him because my mom never did any playing with me. She was tired because she had to work 2 jobs, which I completely understand and don't fault her for that at all. She did what she had to do. Heck, with the exception of taking this semester off, I'm exhausted working every day and going to school part-time, but that's not Tyler's fault, so I push that aside and just have fun, fun, fun with him while he's little! One day the day will come where he'll roll his eyes at me at the thought of playing pirates or firefighters together. He's a good boy and deserves tons of fun!

I wish I lived closer, I loved teaching all three of mine to ride.....we all have bikes...but it is so sad that we rarely find time to ride as a family.

You know, it is a lot easier to teach someone elses kid to ride......than your own.

I wish you lived closer too . . . kind of like teaching your kid to drive.

Me too.....went to the $300 store and spent $248.84....I got off cheap!!

NOT FAIR... Actually, it was funny today...Jaide (8yo) was next to me when the total came up. The whole time out of the store she just get telling me how she couldn't believe how much it cost just to get those few things!
