John: that makes me feel so less like a blabbermouth, thank you. I can now even tell DH, see it's not me talking all the time I'm just reading the fountains of knowledge from my DISer friends :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I almost want to take that list over to my other Xmas/NYE thread so they will see that I haven't even begun to blabber at you guys yet :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

All I can say is THANK GOODNESS there is finally something watchable on TV - AND in HD

No Stinking Survivor here!:rotfl2:

I think I have watched Survivor - maybe three times (not three series, three episodes!).

LOVE March Madness!

hee hee hee, I knew I get ya on that comment :happytv: :rotfl2:

we've turned to our blockbuster discs to watch a movie, but alas, nothing good there either. We may have to go to bed really early tonight.

I am not showing that count to DH as he already KNOWS what I spend my days doing!!

John, How much snow did you end up with. They are predicting 3 to 6 inches for us.
Corrine

Today was really strange . . .

Woke up to nothing, by the time I left for work, it was sleet and freezing rain (6:45), I was in a meeting at 7:30 and looking out the window we had a blizzard going on - which resulted in about 3 inches of snow, and by the time I left to go home, it was ALL gone except in the shady areas!

So, we got about three inches, but it is almost all gone by tonight.

I think everybody needs to order a case of wine! :grouphug:

I think this is the best idea yet!! Karen, I know you will think I am a nut, but I love WHITE MERLOT. I will buy a case of whatever you recommend. Send me a PM!!

If DCL can use low fat ice cream without us noticing they have to find a way to do a low fat Pina Colada!

Great Idea I am going to try and find a LOW CAL recipe :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Marilyn, when in December will you be at WDW? We will be there for a long weekend in December, I think the 6-9.

I think we may be up to 4 and they will be just a few months before our cruise!!

Now for the northern California report....in the high 70's today, all the windows opened to air out the house and predicted to be 80 over the weekend.

And now back to the freezing cold east...brrrrrrr

:happytv: 11:00 here, and watching Xavier-BYU . . .

We're back. Came back from Maui today to gray Iowa, but at least all the snow melted while we were gone. Now I will just hope that we don't get any spring snowstorms. Been known to happen.

Maui was great. A little rainy a few days, but mostly wonderful. It just takes too darn long to get there and back. I envy those of you on the west coast who can just take one plane and be there in 5 hours or so. It took us 3 planes and too many hours. It was worth it, though.

There's no way I can catch up with the posts and all that happened while I was gone. I will slowly get caught up on what's been going on around here. But apparently I need to pm Liserann with info. for a master spreadsheet.

well looks like the plans are being made.

My mom turns 80 this year, my sister and I asked her what she wanted to do for her bday it morphed into where do you want to go and that turned into a girls trip to China.

Mom JoAnne, sister #3 Leeanna, me (sister #4)Nan, granddaughter #1 Kristen(daughter of sister #1) granddaughter #2 Molly (daughter of #4, mine)

So it looks like we will go for a 15 day tour leaving around June 20th and then tack on 2-4 more days in Hong Kong (you guess it, Disney Hong Kong)

Might have DH & Wilson come over for that part. We'll check on the $ as we get closer to the date.

Are there any Amazing Race fans out there? We missed the end of Sunday's show and then saw a promo for this week saying Rob and Amber are out???? What happened?? I'll have to get online to see what I can find out.

I'm hoping that's what will happen to us. We have a St. Paddy's party to go to and I don't want to deal with snowy roads.

They do have to be walked frequently. :rotfl:

only to avoid them peeing on the floor (I think that's what she told us right?):lmao:

Holly, oh Holly, we're laughing with you were are you?????:rotfl2:

I don't post for a while and I'm off the post count! Whats up with that ;)
Hi all..haven't forgotten about you, just concentrating on the med cruise. My Dd and I are heading down to disneyland next weekend. Very excited to see my friend in HB who just had her 4th baby on monday and my cousin (in fullerton) is due any day so I hope to meet him as well! I have been lurking but haven't noticed...do we have a kid count for this cruise? My brother is still on the fence. He figures he can add anytime so we'll see if he'll be joining us! Still looks like a fun group. You've all been posting like crazy. I've been enjoying our early spring her in california.
Have a great night.
Steph

That is so kewl!! John and I are thinking about going to China for the 2008 Olympics with a UC Berkely alumni group. He goes on business to China with native speakers so hope he can fit it in around business. Saves us some money on airfare and hotels if part of the trip is business related.

Just for planning purposes, there is a United non stop flight to Bejiing from SFO and a non stop return.

We will expect a great TR when you return!!

Hmmmm, white Merlot, I have never seen/heard of that? Is it more like a white or a red in it's taste? My favorite are the ice wines or reislings(the really sweet stuff!) ...but I am beginning to appreciate a good red wine.

!!

Out with the puppy?:dog:
