we still have one here in SJ.

When I Read "SJ" I thought you were talking about South Jeresy!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

but pina coladas are my favorites:)

I love Pina Coladas...but they are 500-600 calories each...Glass of White Wine 80 calories......

Speaking of calories..what happened tl all of us supporting each other in weight loss....I am down 11 pounds...but I still have 16 to go...???

Looks a lovely day today, but the forecast is maybe a little snow on Sunday and colder next week.:sad2: Just when I thought spring had sprung!

SNOW AND SLEET HERE TOMORROW

YUCK!

John, I told you to keep it in Ohio!!!

So it was in the 70's the last two days, and this morning we had freezing rain, which is now snow, and it looks like a blizzard outside.

Ohio - all four seasons in 24 hours.:sad1:

Like I said, John you were supposed to keep this weather there.....

One of our local news channels had an interesting piece last night on the U.S. Passport problems. Here's a link. Looks like our senators are getting involved. I can't believe Senator Coleman had to hire a person just to deal with all the passport problems.

The Email I sent to the passport office got bounced back with some generic error message. I'm officially giving up and waiting for them to send it back for lack of fee payment. Good thing we've got 423 days before we need the passports.

I had a passport nightmare this week too. I hope it is settled....won't know for sure till the passport is in my hands!!

This is a big project, thanks for doing it.

I have been looking for a way to make the roll call easier to view/use/undestand on the website. If you (all the thieves) are ok with it, can we also use the spreadsheet to begin a more organized roll call on the website?

I was thinking we could add the e-mails to the spreadsheet.....what do you guys think....???

I also wanted to say, when you folks PM me for the DIS master list, I'm not going to respond to each one because I'm getting so many...so don't be offended, but I am getting them!!!

Thank you so much for doing this...how awesome!!!

UGGG! I know we were all discussing state testing and it interfering with the cruise next year. I just signed up to be the "snack mom" for my DD's class for her WASL's this year. I went to school to get the schedule and due to the excessive snow days (or bad weather days) the state extended the WASL period. Now last year when I planned our WDW trip I made sure to check into this and I was set. Now DD will be missing 2 days of the 5 of testing. :sad2: So, she has to make them up, but make up days are the week we are gone or the first week. Basically she is going to have to take the test 2 weeks before her classmates and miss all that prep time! I am so tempted just to pull her from the test all together this year. I know we can't control the weather and school closures....but this has just added one big stress onto our May vacation. Now, lets just hope they don't repeat this type of thing next year:scared1: OK, done venting, thanks for listening......

Maybe I am getting old..I used to worry about all this stuff (tests....grades...rank in class...etc) but you know what....I can't let it bother me anymore......10 years from now...no one will care that a series of tests were missed.....(Unless of course it is the SAT's :) )

I wish I could get over there for one of your meets. I'm hoping to see some of you in November or December at WDW.

I would love a meet in WDW in Nov or Dec...when will you be here....simply a $159 round trip ticket away!!!

Well, we're back up and I am still on my own!!!:sad1:

Sorry, Marilyn- had a bad headache and went to bed early. :headache: The DIS wouldn't let me on around 9:30pm pacific time last night and then I went to bed at 10!! Unheard of for me!! ;)

Looks a lovely day today, but the forecast is maybe a little snow on Sunday and colder next week.:sad2: Just when I thought spring had sprung! At least we had a taster.:yay: I have my washing out blowing in the breeze and I am going off to the gym. Did a great hoop class yesterday. The instructor is hoping to have us hooping on one leg.:scared1: :lmao: That should be fun!

I want pictures of you hula hooping on one leg!! Way better than I would look I'm sure, but I gotta' see it!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We are at in Orlando from 25th Nov to 10th Dec. We should be at POFQ till 2nd Nov. At the moment we are planning going off site for 4 days or so, then ending up at Universal for the last 3 or 4 nights. However, I am hoping to book a 4 night cruise from 2nd Dec!:)

As far as I know, Mrs Mork should be there from the 6th or 7th.

It would be lovely to meet you.

Karen

I managed a couple of seconds on one leg today!!!! Not very elegant I might add.:rotfl: Sorry, no pics!

Oh, Karen, I didn't expect you to be around at that time of morning. Not now you are only 7 hours behind. Perhaps in a couple of weeks when we move our clocks.

 :rolleyes1 :scared1:

I may have to leave the country very quickly when Dh gets home tonight!
All in all I spent almost £200!!!! (thats lots of $ ;) )

I now have to go and lie down in a dark room for a while...... :rolleyes1

Oh my gosh, Mandy, these are both SO CUTE!!! Now I will live vivaciously through you in the shopping department.

Hope you are still alive later this AM!!! ;)

Karen

You'll all be the first to know if he agrees!!! We are already over there and wondering how to spend those 3 or 4 days anyway. I worked out it would cost us abour £400 more than hanging around Orlando, but we would have to do things there such as go to Seaworld or drive out to places, or shop. Now, that may be just the thing to persuade him!!!!:rotfl:

OR... you could come out earlier and go on the November 10th cruise with us!! It is an even lower rate than the December 2nd cruise.:thumbsup2

See, you would be saving even more money!!;)

Karen

Sounds good to me! I love OCD over-organized stuff!!:rotfl2:

Thanks again for dong the website as well, PJ, we really appreciate it!:thumbsup2

Karen

Ugh! Geez, you try to plan and make it work and they just throw a wrench in it. How rude! Good luck with your decision. I'd opt just to take the test early to get a true representation (without the class prep) of what your DD can do. You can, also, buy practice booklets for standardized tests, so she can get a "feel" for them...

Carolyn
When are schools going to learn that life experiences are more important. :lmao: :lmao: Just kidding
Noel,

Now I know we'll get along great! I love Bellini's!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Karen
Have you ever tried the peach bellini's from Macaroni Grill....those are yummy! :drinking1

Seriously, I'd really pay for a tutor on the ship. You may just have a spa day coming your way! It is a rotten thing to have to bug them to do homework. For some reason kids always behave better for people other than there parents.

Oh, it's not just my kids that do that, phew! Maybe all the parents should switch kids for homework time!!! :lmao:

what down time? We never spent a minute (okay maybe one) in the cabin on our last cruise.
We didn't on our last cruise either, but I have a feeling there might be a few fleeting moments of down time on this cruise

Totally hear ya babe..good luck and whatever your heart tells you to do is the right thing.
Will probably make the final decision the day of the test or something like that. Thanks

!

Ahhhh, but once we are on the cruise, all diets are off right and that 500 calorie drink won't matter, right? ;) Congrats on the weight loss so far. Since the cruise is at least 400 days away, I won't start my diet yet...remember I am the queen of procrastination so I will start dieting when we hit 50 days! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Maybe I am getting old..I used to worry about all this stuff (tests....grades...rank in class...etc) but you know what....I can't let it bother me anymore......10 years from now...no one will care that a series of tests were missed.....(Unless of course it is the SAT's :) )

I know, once you are in the real world none of that matters, really to me the only people who care about the WASL scores are the schools because scores relate to funding somehow! But, it still is enough to cause stress for now :rotfl:

LOVE that dress!!!!

Carolyn

Love this dress...I picture you walking down the stairs in it, so glam!!!

I wish I could say I look glam in it!;) Still, I like it anyway!;) I'll have to see what DH thinks when I put it on....then I may get him to take a photo on this May's cruise for you!

What a pain! Hope you get it sorted out!

well done you!:thumbsup2 ermmmmm....diet? oh yes...I remember.....:rolleyes1

Karen

well karen...I'm still alive:):rotfl: Mark is so sweet, he hardly batted an eyelid.....just gulped a bit and muttered a bit about more overtime or something........:goodvibes

I can't beleive I didn't buy any shoes!:rotfl2: Vivacious shopping here we come!

Yes, sorry, I meant to say, the list is compiled in EXCEL-my favorite!!! Remind me to email it to you after a while!

Thanks! I don't need the list til right before the cruise. No worries!

I read somewhere, not sure where, that the May repo in '05 only had a 1/3 the normal amount of kids or something like that. I thought that there were so few kids they actually opened up the kids club to adults one night. I know there are a few here who cruised then...am I right about this? I think because it is 2 weeks during school most people don't want to pull their kids and the kid #'s are lower. Even though there are quite a few kids in our group already, there are even more couples going alone (or it seems that way).

Yes, only about 350 kids onboard for the May 2005 repo. And yes, we got to go into the kids club a couple of times. They thought no one would show up the first time. :rotfl:

It was packed. We did flubber, painted those animation cels, played games, had to wipe our hands with antibacterial cloths when we entered. The whole 9 yards. They treated us just like the kids. It was great!

 :rolleyes1 :scared1:

I may have to leave the country very quickly when Dh gets home tonight!

He suggested (so his fault right?) that I visit the special Spring Sale at a dept store in town today to see if any of the dresses I liked were on sale.......oh dear! BIG mistake!:rolleyes1

This is what I came home with.....

2 dresses
3 tops
1 pair of shorts
1 2-piece bathing costume
1 silk wrap
1 skirt........

oops!!! (no shoes tho!);) made myself stop there......

This is a link to one of the dresses if you'd like to see it....

Your swimsuit is cute, and has motivated me to eat more salad!!!!

That would be fun. Maybe we can do that while our kids are doing their homework. :rotfl: J.K.

I know the weather stinks, but Miami of Ohio is actually a great university, and not very easy to get into if you are from out of state. I would have loved to have gone there, and Alex liked it too. It is probably the most prestigious academically (Just like The Ohio State U is better known for athletics). Great School!

This reminds me of California University of Pennsylvania. :confused3

Karen - I hope you are feeling better today

Lisa aka worried a little about her Disfriend!!!

That's so sweet of you!!

Got a little teary eyed thinking about what a great, caring group of people you all are!!:grouphug:

I have been having headaches lately and the stress of not being able to move our shop and paying two FAT leases is probably adding to our stress. It's really been a financial nightmare for us the past couple of weeks and it's really gotten bad the last week.:headache: :scared:

Keep sending positive thoughts and pixiedust our way... pixiedust:

Oh, and if anyone has an extra twenty thousand just sitting around that they want to invest... :thumbsup2
