Can't wait....I'll be there in five more years....Bethany will be my beach too. DH and I bought land in Laurel, DE. We're buidling our retirement home there in five years and Bethany Beach is the closest to the property. I'll be there everyday!!! Say hi to the ocean for me. Thanks for the cam, I love it!

Worked in the yard, washed all the bedding (laundry mat), cleaned the refridge, cleaned the toilets (can you imagine what they they looked like...they have not been cleaned since Dec 15th...not used at all, but really gross!!), shopped at Home Depot.....

Tomorrow is more yard work, floors, bathtubs and porch.....then it should be rady for the season!!

We had homemade spicy crab soup for dinner and my DH asked me "why does seafood always taste better at the beach?"

What a nice thing to say - then ruined by that last comment!

Guess what? Not even going to watch the game. No need to . . . already confident of the outcome and my chocolate smoothie!

Tie score right now!! 29/29. Both teams look TERRIBLE!!! Neither one deserves to win right now......tie again 31/31. DH is so tired, he is sleeping in the chair and it is only 7:16pm EDT

What a wonderful story. I am married to a musician....he was in a rock band....I know about the people who come up to you and say "I knew your husband when....." We stopped at a local bar tonight (for a salad) after taking Gretchen to the doctor (Yes, it seems Annie gave strep throat to her dad and her sister) and some VERY CUTE 20 something came running over to my DH and hugged him and said "You're the Godspell guy...I loved it! It was the best!" I think he really liked that.

Anyway Kathe, I am travelling without DH ... just my DH18 and maybe some for his friends. If you want to join up for dinner together....I saw you are travelling alone.....I think I have late dinner.....We have months to plan, but if you are interested, let me know!!



DS18, Daniel, the new HOKIE, loves bowling. They have a bowling team at his High School and they have been to the VA state championship twice!! Haven't won though. I think his average is about 200?? One of the reasons he wants to go to VA Tech is the large awesome bowling alley in the student union. Great reason to choose a college, don't ya think?

I would love to join up for dinner I have late dining as well.That's neat that your DH is a musician, does he still play in a band? What instrument does he play? My DH sang. My daughter used to play french horn, clarinet and piano in high school, but her passion is also singing. She also performs with a rock band, but it is more of a hobby, and the bars they play in are well, not so desireable , at least from my perspective Of course, that doesn't stop my friends and I from going out to support her
Hope your family is on the mend.

As far as bowling goes, I have carpal tunnel in my wrists, the last time I bowled I couldn't move my hand for 3 days it was so sore I won't be doing that again any time soon LOL

ok..here's our story...

Mark and I were both members of the DIS (UK) boards and used to pm each other as friends. In 2002 the boards crashed and as we hadn't shared email ads or anything I thought that was it, then when they eventually got going again I had the sweetest message "I thought I'd lost you", from him, and after chatting on msn, another UK board, and by email I eventually agreed to meet him one day....you know how you tell your kids NEVER to meet anyone you talk to on the internet?

It was a very tough time as I was still married (technically anyway) but we both knew from the first time we touched hands that we'd found our soul mate, that missing piece of jigsasw puzzle. We've been through a lot, especially with my dd, who has had to adjust to a very different life, but we're all a lot stronger for it.

We married in 2003, with our good friend from the DIS as a witness, honeymooned (where else) in Disney, and on our repo cruise next May will be celebrating 5 fantastic years of marriage

So, the DIS and the Mouse brought us together, it's Magic all the way.....

Those 5 year old shots are the worst. We have to do ours in August.
Well we won our game 4-1 and only played half of it because the sprinklers came on. It's all because of the awesome coach they have.

We are leaving out of BUF via BOS for MCO $99.00 (125.00 w/tx). Staying at SSR, we bit the bullet and bought DVC after our fifth trip in four years. I am taking one, maybe two, families of newbies with me, they are driving down and will arrive on the 21st. On the 27th, We heading over to a little boat called the MAGIC. I have an AP and DM is getting a 7 day hopper. No plans on parks etc, but we are thinking of Tuesday or Thursday for MNSSHP. Most of my cruise group is doing Friday for the Party, but I know better, I would be way too tired for boarding. Kind of odd we would have to meet in WDW, when we live in the same province, lol.

LOL Yes but what better place to meet up, I'll use any excuse to go to WDW.Maybe we could arrange for a dismeet this summer a little closer to home? Fiona (cdnmickeylover) lives in Thornhill, she might be interested too? I'm way too wimpy to drive on the 401 but could maybe take the train to TO for a day.

How wonderful of you to take newbies to WDW with you I just love watching the faces of people viewing disney for the 1st time. That was me just 7 years ago! Great airfare you got! I usually fly from Detroit as it is usually cheaper from there too.

My dad was able to walk down the aisle with me, but passed away soon after. I am so glad that your DD will have your dad there. It will be bittersweet, but with all of the love and memories, I hope that she knows that he is there with her, an angel on her shoulder...

I love WDW way better than I like Disneyland. I don't know if it because I can't go all the time or the environment. I told DH the only state I will ever relocate to is Florida. Everyone talking about going there is making me so jealous.

We love that place.

No you don't have to wait until you get a cabin #. Just call DU with both of your reservation #'s and your names and stuff like that. They should be able to call DCL and handle it for you guys.
