Oh no, I have to catch up on 152 pages

I was catching up on march 19th and had a lot of trouble with the disboards for a few days, so here I am, waiting for the FF club of Aeromexico to pick up the darn phone (have been waiting for 44:29 and they don´t even tell you how long of a wait for someone to answer).
And I am eating about a half quart of mint chip Baskin Robbins ice cream, so I will definetly have to work out when I am finished

or my shorts won´t fit for our trip to WDW on april 28th
HEY! Guess what we played tonight?!
Tyler took this pic of me....sort of blurry. He was nice enough to let me have a turn wearing his Capt. Hook hat and hook. But ever since Grandma gave him a cool sword for Christmas, I'm always stuck playing with his old Captain Feathersword sword. No fair! (Ignore vaccuum hose on the right side of pic. Was in the process of cleaning today.)
Those are some great memories your are making for Tyler, you are such a cool mom!
My husband is the "Director of Praise and Worship" We have 11 paid employees at the church. Most salaries are set by the Personnel Comm. This is made up of church members. For my DH and the Senior Pastor, the session sets the "The Terms of Call" (which includes everything from $$$ and all benefits and vacation) and then the entire congregation votes on The Terms of Call. This is funded by donations. Our church is in a major growth mode. Our budget is about 1.5 million $$$ and we just build a brand new building. It is such a gift!! We have a mortgage of 4 million....!!!
My DH is doing a production of Godspell.....has been working on this for 1 year and it is next weekend...Friday night..Sat night and Sun afternoon. I have been selling tickets...and we have sold about 1,000 tickets.....should be a great event!!!
Our life is the church......
Wow! Your church sounds like a huge company to me, lol. That Godspell event sounds great.
This totally reminds me of something I did on my last cruise, but didn't put it in the trip report. I purposely took all my old underwear that I would have been throwing away soon anyway, same with some clothes too, so that I could throw out a bunch of stuff before coming home, leaving more room in the suitcase for souvineers and other new stuff. Well, I did do laundry at one point, and threw away a bunch of old stuff in the laundry room. Then on the last night, as I was packing, I threw all that old underwear away in the garbage can in our room. We went to dinner, out to have other fun, etc. At the end of the night, when we all returned to our room for the last time, we found that when the room steward cleaned our room, he took all those underwear out of the garbage can and put them on my bed! We were just dying laughing at what that poor guy must have been thinking as he was fishing ratty old underwear out of the garbage can! I'm cracking up laughing as I'm typing this!
This reminds me of the time when I flew from the Canary Islands to Madrid through Iberia and they broke one of my bags, so I take everything out of the main compartment and took it to repair shop at the address they gave me. Off to do more errands and back to my aunt´s house. The next morning as I was taking out my clothes to wear after showering I notice that I have no undies but the ones I was wearing

I had left EVERYTHING in the small compartment of the bag. So I had to go to the repair shop and convince the man that I had to check something inside my bag by myself and that he definelty couldn´t help me. I stashed everything in my backpack and took everything back home then, lol.
Heck, ALL of us here are AWESOME parents because we take our kids on Disney cruises and to Disney World (and DL)!!!! Hats off to all of you!
Definetly agree with you
I wish more people would put kids first too. Life's too short.....just have fun and play pirates as often as possible!
(and go out for burritos occasionally....read between the lines here).
I am always amazed when friends have gotten divorced how all of a sudden 1 of them becomes the world's most self centered person and forgets about the kids. Married they were both great (or so it seemed). Then there is the opposite, I have a friend now who put an additional "wing" on their home and each parent lives in one wing with the kids living in the main portion along with the kitchen/LR/FR etc. They are divorced but wanted to "stay together" for the kids. Great for you Holly for working togethr for Tyler.
Your friends are cool parents too, thinking first about their children.
I quickly discovered that I'm the minority in that aspect. I now think I'm the only one who doesn't have a particular sports interest. Oh well! I'll stick with bingo anyway!
Oh no, don´t feel bad, I definetly am not at all into sports either. The only thing I watch is the soccer World Cup.
I will accept any job Disney throws at me (heck I worked in the Emporium for only $6.25 per hour

)
To me it doesn´t sound that bad, after all, minimum wages in Mexico run to less than $ 5 per DAY.
I think I need those songs....I have a mental block when multiplying 7, 8 and 9 together! I can recite hundreds of lines of Shakespeare that I learned 35 years ago...but still have that 'hole' in the multiplication tables.
I remember the summer before I started first grade my mom drilled the multiplication tables into my head, I have always loved going out, but I came to dread hopping into the car because that is when she would star
We are going to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, a small volcanic Spanish island some way from Spain off the African coast. We are really just crashing out for the 2 weeks, eating and walking around a little. Swimming too I hope!
You will have a lot of fun, definetly enjoy the yummy food. Eat some tortilla, a good wine with Casera, papas and tapas.
I have only been to Gran Canaria. I loved the sky there, the clouds moved FAST!!!
My birthday story is different from most others here. My Bday is Sept 4th. Where I grew up the law was 1st day of school after Labor Day....so, I always had cupcakes like the very first or second day of school. Everyone loved me as a treat came so early on in the school year. Except my oldest brother, I was born on this 4th Birthday....so his party was cancelled. He did not like me then!!
My dd´s bday is sept. 4th too! And my brother was born on my 2nd bday (veteran´s day in the US), and I always tell him that he was definetly born with the wrong foot! I hated sharing a birthday with him when I was growing up. I don´t mind now since I mostly don´t celebrate, but he is definetly big on celebrating his birthday.
Ok, I have been 60:35 minutes waiting at Aeromexico, grrr
