Who the heck is Lynn Trefzger? Just give me one of those hilarious Ventriloquists and I'll be happy. I wasn't on the cruise that Saget was on, but I never did find him funny on TV. I liked him on Full House though. He wasn't a Jack Benny or Bob Hope, for sure, but I am not the best judge of a comedian these days. I am sure he has a lot of fans.

I haven't seen this show, but I have to tell you both that in the Midwest, that is our impression of California (I get enough of the gist from following the conversation).

Having met a bunch of you from there (albeit online) has given me a different perspective. When I was in DL, and walking around DTD, I did see a lot of what I would describe as my initial impression though.

now now we aren't all snaky and ignore our chilren.....

Which Corps? Cool. I was a Bugler in the Velvet Knights. Blast was a favorite of mine too. When we saw it at CA, at the Hyperion, they used mostly Bugles, but when we saw the Show that came to Portland, they used mostly 'conventional' horns. I played French Horn and French Horn bugle. There is no drum line like a drum and bugle corps drum line. YES !!! I got to talk to several of the performers after the show at CA, and three of them were ex VK. That was cool.

VELVET KNIGHTS???? The ones who saluted with lawn chairs?????

My ex (still friends though...) used to be in the Garfield Cadets - yes, when it was STILL in Garfield and then he aged out and went on to the Hawthorne Caballeros. He was first line Soprano. (Won both DCI's and DCA's...) Anyway... I always knew where he was on the field... His father was one of the original Cadets.....

Best thing about the Cabs was that Budweiser sponsored them (they used to play half time at all the Giants games...) so Bud used to send a beer truck wherever they went. I came home from the DCA's smelling like a walking DWI... which I wasn't... really... & I really don't know who did it, but one of the tour busses got turned over that time... I do think they've cut back on their beer consumption since then.

Funny thing about Blast... When the guy came down on the folding chair during one of the songs I asked Joe what he thought and the first thing he said was "it wouldn't be ME..."

Still love to go see the shows... Junior is much more aerobic than Seniors... I LOVE the Cabs... and they're playing Malaguena this year which is a fave of mine.

alright who's watchin Amazing Race tonight? it's the finale!

I watched, I watched. It was great..the team I hoped would win did. Don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't watched yet. I cried when they stepped at the final point. It was a good race.

Well today I have been trying to get plans for our Disneyland Trip. How many days does it take to see Disneyland and California Adventure.... What about Universal...is it worth it.

As I am writing this Packers just scored a touchdown!!! Yes!!!

If you work the fastpass system at both parks, they are totally doable in 2 days. Also, work the early entry and decide what you don't need to see. The nice part of memorial day weekend is after monday...everyone leaves!

She was on our last cruise - just ok. Camelot was pretty funny. The kids in the audience seemed to really like her.

I would have liked to have seen her show in the clubs later on but we've never had much luck making it to those. Definitely our goal for this cruise.
